Blending Talons is an Warframe Augment Mod for
Garuda's
Seeking Talons that grants it the ability to create an area of effect explosion around Garuda as well as giving her
Garuda Talons (
Prime) a passive that grants it additional combo count upon hitting enemies affected by
Slash procs.

Acquisition[]
- This mod can be acquired by attaining the rank of General under the Steel Meridian, or the rank of Exalted under the Red Veil, and spending
25,000 to purchase. - This mod can periodically be acquired from The Circuit.
Notes[]
- Range is affected by Ability Range.
- Combo count chance is not affected by mods.
- Blending Talons' explosion applies all effects of
Seeking Talons to enemies in range.
Trivia[]
- Blending Talons is currently unique from other Warframe augments for Exalted Weapons such as
Chromatic Blade,
Mesa's Waltz and
Balefire Surge, as it does not need to be toggled to grant its passive bonus to Garuda's talons as long as the enemy suffers from
Bleed procs from any source.

Do you need line of sight on the AoE or does it ignore walls like the OG?

Tapping executes AoE, holding makes it behave as without the augment

Since you have the average attention span of a TikToker, please read the second part of the mod too.
Do you genuinely believe that extra combo chance is any useful? Just f**king hit any enemies normally and you're at 12x in no time. It doesn't do shit when you actually think about it.
Even if you reduce the combo count chance on her talons and increase the range, this augment would be worth the mod slot. Rather, it forces you to waste slots on range to compensate for what it lacks.
What do you plan to do, only use the AOE on her 4? Range affects every skill, especially if you use a Helminth ability.
The function of this augment should already be in the base ability using the tap/hold function. DE just want to troll players in wasting a mod slots. zzz
Well all the Augments should be added as a bonuses to original abilities and removed as mods completely then!
If that's your case, then this is the solution for your problems with being forced to "waste" a slot!
Indeed, so many augments, lone tenno, are of such barely minimal benefit to an ability that they should be included innately, instead of having to waste a mod slot on them.
Apparently all 3 of you are missing the actual purpose of this mod. Without the mod her seeking talons only hit the targets within the circle, this mod makes it a full 360 aoe attack
Don't understand complains about this one, it provides Garuda with more reliable control of area around her, giving her a bonus for her pretty much strong Talons as well.
This one doesn't need to be implanted into the ability, it works both ways and is worth a slot.

Yup. that's the only problem i have with it: range. Wish it was doubled, instead of having to use a mod slot for stretch, which only helps incrementally.
For the A Fandom User that posted on 07/12/2021 (I'm definitely not going to use the USA date format, lol) that will never read this response. Saryn spore is capped at 70.000 damage, not scale infinitely.
@FukudaTaiki the USA format is YY/MM/DD, not MM/DD/YY. The A Fandom User @ 07/12/2021 was using some amalgamation of date formats that both make no sense and are so inefficient it hurts to look at it.
Using YY/MM/DD is actually a superior measurement (one of the only measurement tools the USA uses better than the rest of the world.)

Kinda wish this had a little bit of the old talons functionality the showed in garuda's early devstream, and had it pull in nearby enemies on the tap cast in addition to dealing the aoe dmg.
Okay. so as far as I can tell, the combo count chance passive is multiplicative with mods like True Punishment and Quickening.
I think it also doubles the effect of Relentless Combination (which, by the way, stacks multiplicatively with True Punishment and Quickening), but I'm not entirely certain. I also don't think Relentless Combination accounts for the bleed procs inflicted by your usage of Seeking Talons or Blending Talons, sadly. But that would honestly be broken, and I sort of hope it doesn't work like that.

I used the ability and it triggered something that's only supposed to trigger on heavy slam melee attacks.
Could you be more specific? What did it trigger?

This augment is blatantly broken. Enemies behind you are only hit within a range of like 5m, regardless of how much range you have stacked.
This bug defeats the purpose of this augment entirely, as it means you still just hit enemies within your field of vision.
I'm really glad you found this, it was huge for my testing.
Yeah that's pretty dumb, but i still think this mod has potential. For many people I know their biggest Gripe with Garuda is that she has too much set up time. Stack up your orb for enough damage, keep your energy and health up, charge your four on a group, hit the group with orb and hope they die. This mod has potential to change that. Instead of a ranged hurl of blades you can jump into the thick with blood mirror or altar and cast this and then just ham with your talons instead of using a frenzy melee style fighter as a mage. Especially interested in using this with breach surge. Faster setup time and all. Just jump in, cast surge and 4 in quick succession and voila, dead grineer.
