Notes[]
- By default, hard landings occur when landing with at least 20m/s velocity.
- This mod also works in Player Hubs such as Relays and Clan Dojos.
- Equipping this mod will also mitigate the effects of
Heavy Impact and
Rhino's Heavy Landing Passive.
Trivia[]
- This mod is based on cat righting reflexes, and is named after Kavats due to their feline appearance.
Patch History[]
Hotfix 33.0.13 (2023-05-26)
- Fixed the Kavat’s Grace Mod description not being accurate to when it had been changed in Citrine’s Last Wish: Hotfix 32.3.2 to resist hard landings from any speed.
- Old: “Resist Hard Landings from falling at speeds of up to 25m/s / 30m/s / 35m/s / 40m/s.”
- New: “Resist Hard Landings from falling by 25% / 50% / 75% / 100%.”
Hotfix 32.3.2 (2023-02-16)
- Previous Missed Patch Note:
- Updated the Kavat’s Grace mod to provide full resistance to hard landings from any height at max rank.
- This change made it into Citrine’s Last Wish Update 32.2.0, however the description of the Mod still needs to be updated. Expect that update in a future Hotfix, and enjoy the Mod updated to its full potential.
Hotfix 25.0.4 (2019-05-28)
- Fixed Kavat's Grace, Gale Kick, Anti-Grav Array, and Odomedic not actually dropping from Amalgam enemies.
Update 25.0 (2019-05-22)
- Introduced.
- ↑ Chance to roll item within drop table
- ↑ Amount rewarded on successful roll
- ↑ (Quantity × Chance)
- ↑ Chance to roll drop table
- ↑ Chance to roll item within drop table
- ↑ (Drop Table Chance × Item Chance)
- ↑ (1 / Chance), see WARFRAME Wiki:Expected & Nearly Guaranteed Numbers for more details
- ↑ Amount rewarded on successful roll
- ↑ (Quantity × Chance), average item quantity on a roll attempt (successful or not)

I,am using this mod on Ivara Invisible Sprint Speed and Parkour; Atlas Landslide Spam; Gauss.
I want try this on Vauban; Aerial Ace builds; Garuda...
Mandatory for Garuda - change my mind
Hard landings should be removed from the game entirely, this mod could be adjusted to provide invisibility for X seconds on landing.
Sure. Anything else? Do you want perma invicibility +10k plat too?
Parkour Velocity/Speed mods should speed up the hard landing animation, replacing the animation at 15% with a roll and negating it at 30%.
Then, this mod can give "+10/20/30% Parkour Velocity" or "On Parkour Maneuver: +10/20/30% Parkour Velocity for 5s. Stacks up to 2x." to bring it up to +60% par with conditional PKV sources such as the Consequence or Agility arcanes, Hit And Run parazon mod, or Assasin's Rush (+50%) decree.
Archon Shards Amar/Nira's Anguish, Mobilize, and the status bullet jump mods will significantly speed up recovery, while the higher +60% sources will completely negate it. We don't need a mod to get an effect that a Warframe should already be able to do when their parkour is enhanced.
Pls do not use this mod, use any other method including just going into bullet time to prevent a hard landing...
Just aim with your weapon before landing and you will never ever hard land
Though Pprforming a bullet jump or initiating an aim glide right before you hit the ground prevents your hard landing, those action themselves put your frame into a forced state, just not that of a stagger. Explaining the theory of why and how this mod is useful is difficult so I highly encourage to try the mod for yourself and just experience its combined impact over the course of few random missions on different tilesets. IMO the mod does A LOT for the fluidity of parcour through the levels, much more than commiting to timed bullet jumps/other means to prevent hard landing, by simply allowing your frame to sprint 24/7. Especially in closed corridors or inside narrow tunnels, while navigating through many levels of scaffolding and on suspended bridges. Basically every time when there are many factors present in an area which together make it rather uncomfortable to navigate said area with chained bullet jumps due to high tight the paths are and how you need to switch between the different levels of height, Kavat's Grace performs surprisingly well. I just wish the effect would be accessible by other means than a whole mod dedicated to one single effect.
Its great on garuda like when using her 4 , another forced instance
^^^^ Came here to post this, that forced hard landing with the augments sucks. This is definetely is worth the exilus slot
This should have "prevent buff to reset "
Reading the comments from this month, it seems people are misreading the patchnotes, it WAS 45% on introduction, and has been buffed to 100% since Update 32.2.0. The image provided also outdated.
Don't see the point using this though, putting yourself into a slide, roll or any other animation prevents getting stuck in a hard landing.
This mod is amazing, but if you don't see the point of it, its either because you aren't using it or aren't taking advantage of it or you're incredibly good at parkour and have tight mod space. Let's be honest, almost no one is the latter, but we all think we are. So I'm right there with you, and I can say, when this mod is on? It is GO time! Not, "cool, looks like I don't have to cancel today guys", as you are.
But really...you can get extremely good at parkour where this mod is not really worth it, even at fast speeds, but this mod helps you practice imo. I agree it is in the 9th-12th mod slot and a nice thing to have for some scenarios.
It's a good mod on any frame with innate knockdown immunity such as Garuda with her 1. I love jumping up in the air and spamming her 4, and just not having to think about flying through maps. I have mistimed many landings and hit a hard landing without this mod. It's a quality of life mod. Mandatory? No. But damn if it doesn't just make life that little bit easier. Great mod, but if the choice comes down to this or Primed Sure Footed, it's no contest. Sure Footed is still King.
Just following on from my previous comment, this mod is also great because if you are using any build with Rolling Guard, the last thing you want to be doing is using it when it isn't necessary. Pretty much all end game shield gating builds will incorporate rolling guard into it, so Kavat's Grace prevents you accidently activating it when rolling to prevent a hard landing. Again, not a mandatory mod, but it's quality of life cannot be ignored.
I noticed the in-game description change and tested it out. It's still, as of posting this, preventing hard landing 100% of the time unless I'm insanely lucky
Really hope it's a miscommunication at DE, cuz I'm not really sure why nerfing it to 45% would be necessary. It already takes up a whole Warframe mod slot making it a niche mod at best, and it being an exilus mod doesn't help because Primed Sure Footed exists
Maybe we'll get a Primed Kavat's Grace in the future
The change to it being a chance from any landing is more of a nerf than anything, instead of it always working up to speeds of 40/second, its just a dice roll if it works. even less useful now.
Is it just me, or did they nerf this mod astronomically? [Kavat's Grace] *In-game image
I may be misunderstanding it, but it seems like they've changed it from a consistent, set height reduction for hard landings, to an inconsistent, chance-based hard landing prevention. I haven't tested to see if it actually functions as the new wording of the mod is how it actually functions, if someone has the time to confirm, that would be nice.
Works to prevent the hard landings brought on by Mesa's Waltz. You could also roll but in my case I want to hold onto Rolling Guard and not have to interrupt Peacemaker fire.
Well you can just aim glide a frame before hiting ground to reset the falling speed
Just dont bring Mesa's Waltz if you want to avoid harsh landings. She's immune to them in her 4 IF you don't have Waltz. It's dumb, but until they fix this, Bullet Jump + 4 will always be faster than Waltzing.
Was a mesa-main for a long time, never once thought of equipping waltz. Just bullet-jump to help you position quickly and roll if it needs a tweak.
I don't play mesa, but that augment is definitely better than bullet jumping around, which you can also do with her augment. Why would you be having a lot of hard landings with her? If you are, its likely you wouldn't be even using her 4 and then KG would be better.
Seems like a good fit for Nezha, since teleporting via Blazing Chakram often results in hard landings. It is odd that the mod doesn't give full immunity regardless of velocity, though.
Now it does!
Whoa dang, thats awesome!
Somewhat usefull on Garuda, since her midair casts result in forced hard landings no matter the height at which they were cast
Exactly what I thougt when I saw this! Such a patch for her. Still, Feels like a waste using a exilus slot for this ;-;
Will someday DE add more exilus slots? Like, there is quite a lot of exilus slots out there that would be really comfy to use, but min-max minds won't allow them anyway, cause that would require main slots to be used... '-_- (well, I mean, I think even non min-maxers will already have their main slots fully occupied by more important things already...
Why DE couldn't pull out the stick out of their asses when they were creating this garbage?
Might as well ask why is this keeps happening every possible time...
It's great for sprinting, it just requires having an imagination and using
You're not the first who saying that kind of !@#%.
This mod is amazing, one of my favorite mods in the game. It's definitely great to never have a hard landing and to just spring out of all your maneuvers from any height, especially at a high velocity. Very useful going fast in mirror defense and not having to play titania. If you play jump mods, add parkour velocity etc, you'll definitely appreciate this mod.
The double jump mod will give you a hard landing on every double jump, so no.... I don't want to do a bunch of dumb maneuvers to negate that. I want to utilize a higher double jump and not because I suck at parkour, but because going high and parkouring off the higher parts of the map, or just completing jumps that are otherwise impossible is an enjoyable and fresh experience. DE also has made recent tiles super huge.
Should be complete immunity to even be relevant.
love this mod! great for when you are using exodia contagian and don't want to bother with more button presses than necessary. you can launch two projectiles and land without worring about stagger.
otherwise its pretty pointless
i would like to try this on gaus speed, valkyr, zephyr...
Valkyr has it with her passive
Why?...
You can also slide or dodge. Doing almost anything will already negate the landing stagger.
Interrupting anything useful that your frame is doing as well. Like reloading.
Sliding doesn't interrupt reloading
If you cast mesa's PM in midair it's useful
You're just naysayers
I would use this mod if that added some other small effect to it. Maybe increased aim glide time, or slide, or merge it with Heavy Impact, something, anything. Yes, there are a million ways to avoid hard landings. Rolling, air sliding, aim gliding, operator. But the fact is out of the THOUSANDS of times I land on the ground while playing every single day every once in a while I don't do it right and it's INCREDIBLY ANNOYING when it happens. Sometimes you're aiming at a platform that's too small to permit rolling or sliding. Sometimes you don't want to aim glide for whatever reason. Sometimes idgaf and I just want to get rid of every possible thing that can slow me down in the game.
This has to be the most useless mod in existence, I'd much rather waste my slot on Warm Coat
