When casting an ability, Gara's glass body has 15% chance to
Blind enemies within 12 meters for 10 seconds, exposing them to Melee Finisher attacks. Blind chance increases by 20% until the blind triggers.
- Can affect enemies with Overguard.
- Can affect enemies inside a Nullifier Bubble.
- Enemies must be within Line of Sight of Gara to be blinded, but do not have to face toward Gara.
- Can refresh blind duration on currently blinded enemies when the passive procs again.
- Affects enemies crystallized by
Mass Vitrify.
- Melee finisher damage benefits from the damage multipliers of
Splinter Storm and Mass Vitrify.
- Can proc also by going in and out of Operator form.

Gara is a perfect example of everything wrong with Warframe, why are a bunch of core interactions with Gara's abilities hidden away in the "tips" which often range from useless to key information.
Yeah! I absolutely agree with you! Another example of this issue happening is Vauban. On top of those hidden synergies, we also have the problem of bad nomenclature of buffs, currently, there is no distinction regards to wording between multiplicative damage and additive damage, flat increased critical chance and increased critical chance, etc. All that makes the game worse since you have to test all that, however, even so, still it is not clear if that behavior is inted or not.
Arcane Arachne does not work on Shattered Lash and Mass Vitrify
Spectrorage sucks just subsume Fractured Blast (and that goes for any other frame), or something else if you don't need energy.
Depends on the build and playstyle. Sometimes Spectrorage is the better choice for energy, Sometimes Dispenser is the better choice. Although a mod spot is needed for Spectrorage to give energy. However, you don't have to spam it & only the player has to stand in the mirrors.
Idk from where you got the info that only the player has to stand in the mirrors but its false, i have tested it and it works only when the enemy is inside the circle

Does anyone else think there should be a synergy buff with her and Vitrica? They're both glass-based, after all.
She already has one with volnus, which is her signature melee
Maybe it's just me, but I hate having to manage 2 different low duration abilities, you have to cast Splinter Storm on yourself, teammate 1,2, and 3 while keeping Spectorage going at the same time, THEN if you want to increase the duration so her abilities aren't absolutely obnoxious that's at odds with range so your tiny base range Spectorage suffers instead... Is there some kind of secret with this Warframe that I'm missing? I don't get how anyone enjoys this.
Oh yeah, want to try any cool unique helminth builds? Well you can't because you need her 1 to pop her 4, her 4 to refresh her 2, and her 3 to strengthen her 2. You could maybe get away with putting a helminth over her 3 but then you can't use her spectrosiphon augment... My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
Spectrosiphon is universally viewed as an amazing skill, but for other frames. As for builds, I personally run 175% efficiency with Pillage and max range. Pillage takes care of shield gating with the Iframe from casting Vitrify, and gets rid of the need for Rolling Guard. You only need enough strength to fully armour strip with two casts and a decent damage riven, then you can nuke mobs with Mass Vitrify within 60-80 metres well into the Steel Path. Heavy Gunners and Eximus are the only ones which need two Mass Vitrifies to kill. The first cast of Pillage goes out while you are creating the wall, so it doesn't really take up any extra time casting Pillage twice.
If most of your damage is in 4-1 nuking, and you're using shield gating to negate health damage anyways, I think it may unironically be better to subsume Pillage on Splintershield instead. Spectrosiphon atleast grants additional ultility in burst energy gain, possibly to the point of only needing neutral effeciency. Splintershield is just giving DR and a DPS alternative you aren't actually using anyways.
I'd say Spectrosiphon is still an amazing augment for gara, It's just, even with it, Spectrorage is generally her worst ability. She can still get a fair amount of value out of energy generation, but she can get even more value out of armor stripping. Kind of just the nature of Helminth power creeping kits. Not to say that's necessarily a bad thing.

Essentially true, but it depends on your location. In survival missions, I just find a bottleneck and throw it down there.
I do use it, but I kind of hate to because the most important thing (for me) is to always have enough energy to build a wall or shield. Unfortunately, that can become a real problem after a while.
The new quality of life change with Mass Vitrify isn't just for Splinter Storm, it damages enemies inside the wall as well. This is especially potent since it should scale with the damage susceptibility from vitrification.

Came here to say this as well. Tested in Simulacrum for like 10min but explosion damage stayed the same, regardless of Splinter Storm's stack

This is a misconception even I had until now, but appearently this is the case even for manually casted. In the Syngery sections: "Splinter Storms on Gara herself and allies can absorb damage from Mass Vitrify's explosion, while storms on affected enemies do not."
This is still a reallly good augment. While the damage itself isn't meaningfull, it gives a fairly large damage vulnerably plus it massively boosts the healing of Mending Splinters. It gives gara another usefull tool in her kit, and i'll probably be keeping it on her.
I'd personally of prefered an augment that applied splinter storm on allies instead or even better both. It would massively simplify Gara's gameplay. Granted the augment+the QoL change to her is alot more then she's gotten in years, so i'll count my blessings.
Edit:Context made me believe that people were talking about splinter shield not scaling with strength. the splinter shields are 100% copies of the ones you manually cast on the enemies instead.

There seems to be a bug where sometimes Mass Vitrify doesn't actually refresh Splinterstorm's duration either on yourself, or your sentinel, but will successfully refresh the other.
Good thing they called the removal of the glass disappearing feature a QoL 'change' and not an improvement, 'cause man, that was a step down.

I always disliked how ti dissappeared because I was running that ability almost 24/7 so it kinda lost the theme her not heaving and glass on her....hence my suggestion was (a long time ago) to have it.,.ya know...shatter, have spikes of shattered glass remain on her and hte broken off parts are implied to be wirling around her.
But no, lets just remove it all together, much easier....

They should have made it an option on her armor.
You can turn off things like Valkyr's Bonds, just make it so Gara can have a forced glass armor appearance option.

It's not written (or not explicit) but with an increase in Duration the max radius of Mass vitrify increase too
At 100% range (11m) :
222% duration = 21.98m so increase of 10.98m => 1% additional duration = 0.09m (107% = 11.63m)
At 190% range (20.9m):
222% duration = 41.76m so increase of 20.86m => 1% additional duration = 0.171m
At 280% range (30.8m)
222% duration = 61.54m so increase of 30.74m => 1% additional duration = 0.252m
For info 10.98 (initial increase) * 1.9 (range)= 20.86 (190% range)
10.98 *2.8 = 30.74 (280% range)
So i'm bad at math but it feels like : Max radius increased by duration is X = 0.09*bonus duration % * range/100 => 0.09*122*1 = 10.98m increased Okay // 0.09*122*1.9 = 20.862m increased Okay // 0.09*122*2.8 = 30.744m increase Okay

People forget Gara is a CC frame as well. Her 4 vitrifies enemies and they take more damage. Using Magus Anomaly with it is fun.
Hey mods, might wanna check the Gara prime section, there's a cyst on the image.
How are the images done? If possible, I can attempt at trying to get an image of Ivara Prime without the cyst at least.
Get the green screen captura scene and equip the Warframe w/ no cosmetics, default colors, and no animation set. Take a snapshot and remove the green background with an image editor like GIMP.
How about orbiter decorations? I have a tennocon picture and it is not on the forums.
Do you have the name of said decoration? You can probably find it in https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Mobile_Export under ExportResources. Otherwise, you would have to hack up some kind of green screen set up in your orbiter through picture panels or crop the decoration icon from your inventory.
