Resonator by reactivating it, ordering it to move to where her reticle is pointing at, with increased speed.

Acquisition[]
- This mod can be acquired by attaining the rank of Genius under the Cephalon Suda, or the rank of Flawless under the New Loka, and spending
25,000 to purchase. - This mod can periodically be acquired from The Circuit.
Notes[]
- Recasting costs no additional Energy, and places a Resonator-shaped marker on the ground.
- Once the Ability is recast, the Resonator will stay at the marker for the remaining duration of the Ability.
- Recasting the Ability a second time will move the Resonator to a new location, provided that marker is not within the radius of the previous one.
- Holding down the Ability button for 1.5 seconds resets the marker, allowing Resonator to move freely once again.
- Can be equipped in the Exilus slot.
- The speed at which Resonator moves to the selected location is affected by Ability Strength. Thus, this means that with a negative Ability Strength, the Resonator can move slower than normal. This can be useful for "herding" groups of enemies to a specific location without moving too fast and getting Resonator out of attraction range.

Why cant this just be a normal part of the ability again?
A better version of Loki's decoy, He definitely needs a rework.
The fact you lose the ability to recast your ability early really sucks for OCD people like me who like to refresh buffs and reload guns during idle moments. Because of that, for me it feels better to just cast 1 for 25 energy and have the ball move there or let ball expire if I want a non-moving mallet.

Why is this an exilus mod while many other utility augments aren't?
DE's probably smoking some hardcore shit.
Plop this thing onto Speed Nova and never worry about the enemies' faster attack speed again.
The irony of its speed being affected by strength is if you have negative strength when you command it it slows down to a crawl lol.
Needs recastability, the command is unreliable in certain situations.
Why the hell is this an Augment and not core to the ability?
Tap to direct resonator, hold to recast.
So that you have to waste a mod slot and capacity for quality of life changes.
Anyone know if the speed scales with power str? If so, that should be added here.

I really wish there was another way to trigger this ability. I hate not being able to refresh Resonator before it expires.
If you put mallet augment + this one, you can "chokepoint" 3 areas.
2 with mallet that deals damage and 1 that CC and they all stay in place.
In some very particulars situations, it could be good.

You'll find more often useful this rather than partitioned mallet.
After placing a marker, it apears you can hold the ability to charge a meter that when full, undos the mark and allows the resonator to act normally
If anyone is curious - while you have this mod equiped: 1st cast is just like normal.
2nd cast puts a mark on a floor for your resonator to move and it does NOT consume additional energy. 3rd cast - does not work. Your resonator is stuck there for remaining duration and you CAN'T recast it.

Agreed, instead of releasing bandaid mods that just take up a much needed mod slot, DE should have just patched this into the ability itself.

she would not be OP with something so minor as this, because if you actually played as Octavia you would know that the Resonator follows you which means this augment is useless, and if it was in the normal ability nobody would honestly notice because it is so god damn useless, so would it really make Octavia more overpowered if it was already in her kit? no
