Orokin Matrices are rewards that can be given both during and after completion of the Isolation Vault bounty in the Cambion Drift. Each can be exchanged with Loid in the Necralisk backroom to gain Necraloid standing.

Acquisition[]
The first tier of Isolation Vault bounties will grant Orokin Orientation Matrices, the second will grant Orokin Ballistics Matrices and the third will grant the Orokin Animus Matrix.
Matrices drop from each of the Necramechs on stage 3 of the bounty while additional matrices can be rewarded upon the bounties completion. The number of Necramechs also scales with each tier, starting with one on the first version of the bounty while each successive tier increases the number of Necramechs by one.
A Resource Booster doubles the amount of Orokin Matrices acquired, as well as loot abilities such as Nekros'
Desecrate.

NEKROS desecrate and resource boosters will help with getting these
Wasn't the "completing bounties on the same cycle" requirement removed? I was looking for a way to farm these and am currently confused about what I should run to get orientation/ballistics/animus specifically
No update wiki imo
Ok, I seem to have figured it out
For the original bounties (the ones you can select from the Necralisk), the defeated necramechs will always drop one matrix corresponding to the bounty tier(T1=orientation, T2=ballistics, T3=animus).
Which means you get 1 orientation from doing T1, 2 ballistics from doing T2, and 3 animus from doing T3 (aside from the possible bounty rewards)
Agreed, I keep seeing this listed on the Bounty text, but I think T3 was unlocked by default for me (or I had to do a T1 and possibly T2 before T3 unlocked). Did not do it in the same trip, either.
Orokin Anus Mofo
Orokin Animus Matrixes are so damn hard to get. I've done several of the hour long frikkin vaults, and only have 11 of them.
i have tons of these and i am rank 3 with 70.000 rep, what to do with these?
Rank up, and then use them for standing after
Vault Bounties are bugged, u only get orientation from them.
Fix your game DE!!!! ffs...
Just to clarify a little: You must do the vault run 3 times in a single fass/vome cycle and single session aka you are not allowed to leave Cambrion Drift between bounties and if the cycle changes you lose progress.
To accept subsequent bounties for 2nd and 3rd talk to Mother in Cambion Drift at these locations:
2nd vault - Catabolic gutter (in the ravine)
3rd vault - The abscess
Hope this helps a little
Helps if you go to more than Tier 1 vaults, man. Read about vaults so you understand how they work. The drops work perfectly.
The post above this one explains it very well also.
Lol, sounds excatly like my clan! Half of em noped out when they heard that its like Eidolon hunts and the other half tried, got frustrated, and quit.
Well, guess DE can save their time developing Mech stuff, when only 1% of the playerbase has one.
Clarifying a little more: You can do the locations in any order you want, so the order I listed is just the order I do them in (starting bounty from necralisk).
Where do you get ballistics and animus?
I think it's random chance what you get when you kill the Necramech in the vault.
iso vault t2 and t3 respectively
I don't know which vaults are what, I only have one vault contract and it gives me orientation
You have to complete more vaults in the same session to increase the tier.
no me deja hacerlo amigo
In the vault bounty there are hidden stuff happening.
1) You get the "necessary" bonus stage after hitting the pillar, it leads up to a small parazon puzzle like in the zone tutorial, lots of crate got some mech parts in there
2) in the first big vault room there are 2 operator switches(can be hit by operator weapon), it opens wall doors and there are switchs in those closet(on the top not on the ground). You need to manipulate those to make the rings statue in the center of the room go full vertical, then you can jump in there to be warped in a secret room with a mech to kill and loot :)
Also nekros seems to work on the mechs. It's all I have for now :)
where are the switches
in the room on the ground ( the first switches for the walls part ), [ close to the walls with a golden pattern ] i couldn't resolve the puzzle but i devinitely got trhe switches

I think we need to find one of the roaming out of control ones and destroy them for these too hmmm
I got some Orientation ones by using a Nekromech on Deimos and letting it get destroyed, don't know if there's a better way to get them
can you get into Nekramechs after the quest?
You can Transference into dormant Nekralisks out in the Cambion Drift and control them while the orange worm is out.
