Mysterious and mischievous, Mirage manipulates the spectrum of light to dazzle her foes. With deceitful mirror images, colorful photokinetic displays and explosive pranks up her sleeves, every battlefield becomes the stage for her next performance. Mirage was unveiled in Update 14.0 (2014-07-18).
Acquisition
Mirage's main blueprint can be purchased from the Market. Component blueprints are awarded at the end of each mission for the Hidden Messages quest. Additional blueprints can be bought from Cephalon Simaris for 25,000.
Alternatively, upon completion of The Duviri Paradox, Mirage's main and component blueprints can be earned from The Circuit. By selecting her on the rotating week she is available, players can earn her blueprints after reaching Tier 2 (Neuroptics), 5 (Chassis), 8 (Systems), and 10 (Main) rewards.

- Currently,
Akzani lacks a Signature Weapon bonus with Mirage.
- Mirage is the first Warframe that requires an Argon Crystal to construct the entire Warframe instead of a single Orokin Cell.
- Mirage does, however, require an Orokin Cell to craft each component for a total of three required cells.
- Mirage is the first Warframe to not require any Rubedo.

- In the game Mirage first appeared on the fire damage/status chance mods rewarded from the Operation Breeding Grounds event, shown with the new

- Her second appearance is in a teaser trailer revealed on day 5 on www.theliset.com, the teaser site for Update 14.
- Details of one of Mirage's abilities, internally named the "Comedy of Errors", (now named
Sleight of Hand and is her second ability) were leaked in Devstream 31.
- Mirage's design aesthetic is based on the harlequin, and has an alternate helmet named so.
- Both helmet designs also have elements inspired by the cuttlefish, particularly the body of the default helmet and the face of the alternate. Cuttlefish have been the subject of much recent study for their ability to perceive polarized light and to produce complex shifting patterns on their skin.
- Mirage's third ability,
Eclipse, has visual effects that evoke the phrase smoke and mirrors. Many tricks of stage magic and illusion are performed with the aid of special mirrors, lighting and distracting bursts of smoke, hence the idiom "It's all done with smoke and mirrors." The phrase has entered wider usage to refer to other sorts of fraud and deception, especially when hidden by some flashy display.

She's really back and ready to use again after Eclipse consistency buff and Eclipse nerf on Helminth.
DE killed eclipse on Helminth, but it made eclipse REALLY great but only on Mirage.

Is it just me or does anyone else get their 3rd skill (Eclipse) cancelled when switching back in from operator?
Yes! It was happening to me and I couldn't figure out what was causing it.

Saryn has always had range on her and still does, if you're talking abilties...run and gun is playstyle dependent. At certain ranges she is always good or competitive.
I miss using her with simulor, buff synoid simulor when DE?

Incredibly powerful now. Maybe she was powerful before in very specific situations, but now she is powerful full stop without ooga booga light zone camping. Very pleasantly surprised.
Now they just need to run some serious optimization on her prism as it causes massive fps drops and obscures your vision badly with the augment mod lol.
I don't have any problems with her for general use 😮. Is your FoV maxed? The prism yeah gotta find my walking stick every now and then...
Rumor has it her prism is still casting. I never use that. Make the casting speed on par with her 1 and then maybe I will. I don't have any issues with obscuring view unless people have gloom on me. Then I can't see at all. I don't know why gloom shows on all her clones. Now that is annoying, but her clones don't usually bother me. I wish they weren't glitchy and were more solid though, like if there was some transparency slider for them.
So you are going to take back those words after that LoS update?
I definitely never light zone camped...thats funny. I just had a placebo buff on then.
Any info on the other mirage abilities that interact with light (2 and damage scaling on 4) ? everyone keeps silent on those and i fear they will either nerf or break/forget those with the new light system
Which arcane works and which dont with her clones? my archon ESO cleaner build is perfected but somehow i feel something is missing.
Use arcane energize and molt augmented, molt augmented gives you 60% more strength, arcane energize can help energy inefficiency
I will add that in general arcanes that BUFF YOU will work, for example from the new melee arcanes the corrosive damage one should work since it is buff your weapons which is translated to your clones, but the extra hit arcane or status spread arcane should NOT work since they are trigered on hit and hits made by clones wont trigger anything
Clones cannot triger arcanes but can benefit from buffs from arcanes
For Explosive Legerdemain ESO, I use Molt Augmented, Molt Vigor, and Empower (over Prism), for a bonus 155% ability strength. Running Zenurik gives you another 20% for 175% total.
Somehow my NUKERAGE prism guard build was murdered recently and I don't know what DE had done. From nuking everything it's just a number festival while dying without any kill.
The alternate equipment section is missing the Kuvael skin.
Some weapons don't work properly when fire by hall of mirrors' clones, Kompressa Bubbles explode immediately, Despair Incarnon don't explode, Kunai Incarnon do not home in
I've had almost a year off the game and picked up a more mage-y Mirage along with my shooty Mirage, and have had so much fun with the new Archon mods, energy Arcanes and Legerdemain damage buff (was 4 buffed too?)
Now I need suggestions to what I replace her 3 with?
I thought of Vauban rollers just because of their fire-and-forget nature (+Archon Stretch); Citrine's blast to get more loot for mines; Roar for just more damage. Or maybe I need something for stripping armor?
I think I don't need any CC, especially the gather everything together variety, because she wants the enemies to be walking about to check her mines and traps, which is really refreshing play style.
Any other thoughts on this?
If you want to be damagy with abilities, replace her 3 with roar.
What a dumb thought.
.....just look up what settings to change so you always get the damage buff from her 3, it's more powerful than Roar due to it being a final multiplier.
It buffs weapon damage not ability damage so roar is better for going for ability over weapon build
That pose in the image IS in the game. It's the idle animation for using dual secondaries with the Mirage Oneiro Noble animation set.
Mirage prime is a huge nerf to if you want to abuse of shield gate to survive
Her prime skin/decals are easily worth a tiny amount of shield..a simple skin fix doesn't do it. It looks much worse on her regular imo.

There are a ton of abillities you can use to survive by disabling crowds. I dont shield gate, i do level cap
^Irrelevant take without the specifics. Eximus don't care about CC, and even if some abilities work, you can't guarantee not a single enemy in Disruption or Void Cascade ever spawns behind you or far away to 1 shot you with a single bullet.

Is Mirage Prism ability affected by casting speed? I tried 65% and it does not seem to make it any quicker???
Its takes so long to cast everything is dead by teamates by the time I cast it...

I was reviewing this page and Ocucor's page for interaction between them both and I noticed the Trivia section:

That is hilarious to me two-fold.
For one, being named that probably out of comical frustration on the programmer's part.
For two, Eclipse existing. Possibly warranting that name better.
