Notes[]
- Despite being listed as a multiplier, it will stack additively with other sources of Damage to Orokin.
Patch History[]
Update 36.0 (2024-06-18)
- Changed the name of “Bane of Corrupted” Mods to “Bane of Orokin” to match their new faction name that was released with the Resistances and Status Rework in the Jade Shadows update.
Update 34.0 (2023-10-18)
- Changed the Faction Damage Mod (includes Bane, Cleanse, Expel, Smite, Railjack, and Riven Faction Stats) descriptions to use multiplier instead of percentage based stat formatting. Damage values have not changed! Just the way they are communicated.
- For example: Smite Corpus (at max rank)
- Was: “+30% Damage to Corpus.”
- Now: “x1.3 Damage to Corpus.”
- This change better communicates how Faction Damage is calculated, since calculation occurs when you hit the enemy, as opposed to when you shoot like other damage sources (since it needs to know what Faction is being hit). For that reason, multipliers apply to final damage as a whole and not just part of the formula!
- For example: Smite Corpus (at max rank)
Update 29.10 (2021-03-19)
- Fixed the Bane Mods applying the increased Damage twice.
Update 21.0 (2017-06-29)
- Introduced.

Please update the wiki to the orokin faction mods
I use this mod for void steelpath
you can get this mod today from the trader on all platforms
the primed bane of corrupted got leaked today ... u can link it in warframe ... next baro visit will be this mod ...
Do Fissure-corrupted NPCs count as Corrupted or do they retain their old Faction status?
old faction (unless DE changed how it works in U21).
"Fissure-corrupted" is a buff to stats. Enemies that spawn on initial fissure are corrupted faction though.
pointless waste of time
Using this over a 90% mod when focusing on slash/toxin/heat procs is WAY better as they'll triple dip their damage. An oridnary slash proc with a weapon that has a decent amount of base damage will gain a few (depending on base damage) hundred damage for each tick with just this mod alone. Factor in base damage mods, weakpoints (headshots), criticals (each tier is a larger multiplier on top of crit multiplier), stealth multiplers (if you can keep enemies unalert), and abilities (Mirage is the best abuser) and you'll go from 100k to nearly 1 MILLION per tick with this effect (+bane-like rivens would be needed in conjuction with this for something that big).
Can't believe it took them 4 years just to think out this mod.
first :D
now wait for its own primed version.....
yet it stacks with other bane of <faction> mods right?
Why would it need to be added to notes? Just look at the Enemies in the codex. They are split up by faction. "What faction does the enemy I'm damaging fall under?"
in case of misunderstandings...
While the corrupted are made up of grineer corpus and infested. They classify as a seperate faction and will NOT stack with other bane mods (Bane of corpus, grineer, etc...) Add that in
^Not a bad idea
