Notes[]
- Has no effect on Corrupted and Narmer Grineer (e.g. Corrupted Lancer, Narmer Lancer).
- Despite being listed as a multiplier, it will stack additively with other sources of Damage to Grineer.
- For example, if you had a Riven Mod with x0.5 Damage to Grineer and a max rank Bane of Grineer with x1.3 Damage to Grineer, you would have a 1 - 0.5 + 0.3 = x0.8 multiplier for damage against Grineer with both mods equipped.

Patch History[]
Update 34.0 (2023-10-18)
- Changed the Faction Damage Mod (includes Bane, Cleanse, Expel, Smite, Railjack, and Riven Faction Stats) descriptions to use multiplier instead of percentage based stat formatting. Damage values have not changed! Just the way they are communicated.
- For example: Smite Corpus (at max rank)
- Was: “+30% Damage to Corpus.”
- Now: “x1.3 Damage to Corpus.”
- This change better communicates how Faction Damage is calculated, since calculation occurs when you hit the enemy, as opposed to when you shoot like other damage sources (since it needs to know what Faction is being hit). For that reason, multipliers apply to final damage as a whole and not just part of the formula!
- For example: Smite Corpus (at max rank)
Update 29.10 (2021-03-19)
- Fixed the Bane Mods applying the increased Damage twice.
Update 9.0 (2013-07-13)
- 12x new Mods: Faction "Bane" (melee, pistol, shotgun, rifle).
- Introduced.

"Fixed the Bane Mods applying the increased Damage twice."
??? was this changed?
Do this mod works againsnt kuva liches?
Which is better: A Prisma Grakata with 382 slash damage per tick (non-bane) or 809 slash damage per tick (with bane)?
I just met a guy with over 1k hours who said bane of grineer also affects secondary weapon, I questioned about it and he said I insulted him...
Well there is a variant of the bane mods for secondary weapons (Expel series), but they are *different* mods cards.... so you were right and he was embarrassed and/or dense, lol.
Cleanse (Shotguns), Expel (Secondaries), Smite (Melees) they all called Bane mods
Just call them faction mods
Calling them all Bane mods is just asking to be called out
Found out that DoT status is affected by bane of grineer. Something like a tox/slash or gas/slash build becomes amplified considerably when the mod is used.
Kek
A test at Simaris' simulacrum has shown that these mods add damage bonus after EVERYTHING else.
Karak Wraith rank 30 with maxed serration, heavy caliber, and 4x90 mods (actually the cold one is primed +165) viral+rad, NO MULTISHOT against LV145 grineer bombard.
Damage per bullet without the bane: 45.
Damage per bullet with the bane: 58. Exactly 30% increase. A quick test with soma confirms that it works with crits (86 crit damage turned 110).
So yeah. These mods are actually viable if you have a free spot and already put at least 3 elementals in there.
Primed version (55% at r10) at Baro Ki'teer right now on PC. If anyone actually wants to spend 400 Ducaats on it...
Fake it's not at baro, and baro isn't here atm anyway
Dude that was 5 years ago
Bruh moment
XD
HAHAHAHA. -PT
I finally found this mod after 380 hours according to steam while trying to find some Nightmare mods.
Then I died and I had all of my revives used up.
It's rather upsetting.
don't worry, i can give you one for only 5p ;)
How To Get All Faction Damage Mods
Does it work against corrupted enemies in the void?
No.
The bane mods(in my opinion) is a not good to go since the Corrupted have the Three Factions(Grineer, Corpus, and Infested) althogether in one tileset. Unless you can equip all of those three bane mods, you're good to go. But will you?
There is a Bane of Corrupted
is this mod calculated before or after critical hits?
acually, just how is bane damage calculated? along with heavy caliber and serration? or seperate?
This mod is multiplicative with serration and heavy caliber. That means that with a maxed serration it should increase damage by 214,5% instead of of 195%. Keep in mind however that serration and heavy caliber are additive to each other
And seriously, since when does it matter if the mod is calculated before or after crits if both the mod and crit are multipliers?
^ have this been tested? can anyone confirm it?
These mods only pay off if replaceing your fourth or later elemnetal damage boost.
three 90% damage elementals is worth more damage-wise than two with bane.
On the same had hand four 90% elements are worth less than three elements and a bane.
2 mods and this is just fine for grinner...and if i dont use this mod what element should i use??(of course im having corrosive)..heat?cold?..both wrong...so its GREAT to have only 2 elements and this mod...
^
Use Cold....That wud help in boss fights and Void(for Corrupted Crewmen)....+50% to Shields...
If you're in the void then you should'nt be using a bane mod, everything in there belongs to the "corrupted" faction (although a bane of corrupted mod would be awesome)
30-55% more of an effective element is better than +90% of a less effective or neutral element.
it could be easily finded at Saturn survival
igot this from farming Bane of Infested(from J3-Golen)
This mod is so meowing rare
and meow too
Does this mod increase the raw base damage or base after Serration and Heavy Caliber?
It increases all damage. To put it simply, after you've calculated your damage, this multiplies it by 1.3. If you're curious about the exact order, see here: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Mad5cout/Warframe_Damage_Calculation_Research#Faction_Damage
Just got it again from Xini, this time I actually got it. Starting to seem like it drops from everything.
WAIT NEVERMIND, I did a bunch of void runs before that, I could be wrong.
How the fck you get it in Xini, thats an infested map. Fck you
^ Very dude.Much stupid.So meow.Wow.
I finally have this mod now. I got it from Kappa, Sedna.
Got Bane of Grineer in Kriste, Ceres.
But then the group ran away from the cryopod and we lost. Why am I not surprised at all?
same, bunch of meows trying to get the meow of most kills, stupid meows
I don't fully know how this works.
So is Max Bane of Grineer ect at 30% Damage better than a max Elemental mod at 90% Damage??
Nope, its for upgradeing that damage so you can get a delecious total of 120% damage!
Except this increases elemental damage as well as base damage. I'd say it compliments it.
