- The Operation: Scarlet Spear event sold Arcane Rage from Little Duck for 2,000

- ARCANE STAT CHANGES PER RANK
We’ve adjusted the values of older Arcanes with the goal of making lower rank Arcanes more viable, and more desirable while collecting as a result. In short, there are three stats that each Arcane tends to have (speaking generally) -- for example, a percentage chance, a stat buff, and the duration of the buff.
Certain Arcanes increase all of these stats per rank (making them scale exponentially), but we are changing it so that only one stat is affected by rank (making it scale linearly). The other stats will now be at the max-rank value regardless of the Arcane Rank, thereby buffing lower-rank Arcanes as a result.

Not a fan of the extremely low "15%" stat. Just not my cup of tea as it rarely procs enough to feel it's need. I think I'm gonna build a Kitgun with high fire-rate and see if this arcane would produce more. Otherwise, not feeling the 15% bs.
One thing to note is it's refreshable and affected by multishot

^Either way, the dude is right about it being BS. Arcane Precision does the same thing for secondaries with 100% chance, and grants +300% damage. There's zero reason why the gap should be that wide, other than bias.
If we agree that 15% chance is not low, then how does one justify 100% chance for dual pistols and secondary beam weapons? +300% damage for Kuva Nukor is not enough? 100% proc chance also needed?

Yes. This would work well with a concentrated arrow build, since in order to actually make use of that AoE, you need to land headshots with Artemis Bow.
Arcanes from Warframes' slots do benefit. But primary/secondary arcanes don't benefit for exalted weapons.
Will this affect archweapons for railjack?
Well, railjack enemies don't have heads, so no.

Not work on Ignis Wraith... The Arkane icon starts, but no damage effect. I checked many builds, this same dmg with and without headshoot. Checked on status, crit, 6 different rivens, no modded build, half modded, full modded - nothing :( Any suggestions?

A suggestion, use arcane rise instead, even easier to use by simply reloading. Primary merciless can help you boost the reload speed as well, but the reload on holster doesn't benefit from arcane rise though.

What they mean is that a "Primary Weapon" is a weapon that Occupies a "Primary Weapon slot. ie: Shotguns, Assault Rifle, Bows
It's called primary fire mode amp, aka amp. Then we have alternate fire mode amp, aka useless since the rework of school tree.
Works on Shotguns now. Can confirm. The damage bonus applies to your primaries, whatever it might be, snipers, shotguns, ARs.
So love how shotguns are a "Primary Weapon" for rage, but not a "Primary Weapon" for acceleration.

if i only equip 1 weapon eg: pistol does it count as my primary cuz i try this in def mission and i got the arcane buff when using only pistol.
The buff can be triggered by any damage you do but will only apply to rifles.
No. Shotguns dont count.
Arcane Rage bonus damage does apply to shotguns: Tested with unmodded Vaykor Hek against lvl 100 corrupted heavy gunner :
Crit damage on headshot does 49 without arcane buff
Crit damage on headshot does 108 with arcane buff

With Serration, dmg increase is (1+1.65+1.2) / (1+1.65) => 1.45283018867925x
If two Aracane Rages are in effect, dmg increase is 1.90566037735849x
With Split Chamber and Vigilante Armaments, the triger probability is 25%.

Vigilante Armaments there's only a 23.05% probablity.
Split Chamber Multishot: +90%, Vigilante Armaments: +60%, then total +150%, so average 2.5 bullets per shot.
Per bullet proc chance is 10%, so, man.... i mistook this.. you are correct. I shouldn't just multiple it.

Shotguns with higher pellet count (I.E Strun Wraith) can proc Rage on almost every headshot. Pretty fond of it on the Boar Prime, especially given the RoF.

Yes, Titania's gun and sword will activate Arcanes.
Dex Pixia should only be affected by secondary weapon arcanes, haven't tested it though
Just tested it with Arcane Velocity/Acceleration, it is only pistol arcanes

Checked out multiple forum and reddit posts. People say that it does work on any primary.
Triggers from ANY headshot including secondary (and melee I guess, test this yourself, hue), grants bonus to ANY primary, shotties, bows, snipers included. No bonus for non-primary.
Confirm it works with snipe rifle. and does increase significant amount of damage, close to 2x dmg on base dmg.
From my own experiment, I found something interesting:
My Corinth does 490 dmg per pullet in the head to a lv130 corrupted heavy gunner, with this arcane activate, dmg spike up to 807 dmg per pullet.
Corinth has 4740 viral damage, 677.2 slash, 632 impact, and 948.0 puncture. 5.3x crit dmg multiplier, and all dmg was in yellow crit.
Hope someone can figure out where this damage is added to the equation.

i use a 2x rage set up for my mirage, with the aid of the mirrors and 2x arcanes this thing is always on, it reactivates before the timer even expires, as long as there's a fresh supply of bodies the timer never runs out; ideal for mirage and fast shooting hit scan weapons or beam weapons with constant fire

Something that's unclear is that it also affects shotguns. It says "primaries" for the blurb but "rifles" in the arcane list, however testing it shows that it does work on shotguns.
The bonus damage is too low for it to be useful.
