125,000 to purchase. As with all Syndicate Weapons, the Telos Boltace cannot be chosen as the free offering upon ranking up to Maxim rank.
- Syndicate weapons can also be acquired via Trading, but only for unranked copies without Forma or Orokin Catalyst installed.
- Players must have a Mastery Rank of at least 11 to acquire the Telos Boltace, either through trading or through the Syndicates themselves.
Notes[]
- Slide attacks trigger Stormpath, creating a 14 meter vortex that pulls in and staggers enemies.
- Having the Telos Boltace in your loadout boosts Bullet Jump velocity, Roll distance, Aim Glide duration, and Wall Latch duration by 20%.
- In Conclave, only the Aim Glide and Wall Latch bonuses are granted.
Tips[]
- Stormpath and the high status chance can be put together to hit several enemies with the AoE's of
Gas and
Electricity status effects.
Nezha can use Stormpath to drag enemies into the path of
Fire Walker to charge
Pyroclastic Flow efficiently.
Trivia[]
- Originally, the Telos Boltace released energy waves similar to
Exalted Blade on slide attacks.
- The concept for the original effect was designed by player TunaMayo.

"A second slide attack shortly after the vortex will launch and suspend nearby enemies in a Lifted status." Fun and useful when playing against hordes of enemies. Easy to proc. The weapon is primarily puncture (meh). But a crit build or a heavy attack build is completely viable at higher difficulties with the right mods. The heavy attack includes a forced slash proc gud against acolytes. The melee arcane that adds corrosive is worth considering if you dont have some other way to remove armor. Solid B+ melee but not more than that.
People gotta stop sleeping on puncture, almost like no one remembers the buffs to it. Puncture does get best multipliers against armor (assuming they arnt full stripped, which come next patch will make 90% strip viable) AND grants free flat 25% crit against the target its on.
I feel like there should be an augment mod for this weapon
As a player that mostly don't care about melee as a killing tool, I'd love a wiki page that compile all usefull melee gimmicks as the telos boltace stormpath. The page could probably be extended to scourge and ferrox throwed effect, as well as amalgam augments. All those utility functionality for when your weapon choice don't matter as much as another makeshift ability
https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Passives/Weapon?
Fun fact, the linked page is incorrect on multiple counts, misleading, it says "passive when equipped" when in fact the passive is applied "when held in hand" which are two vastly different things :)
...and this page doesn't say either way, so we don't know, short of testing it manually.
This weapon is so insanely underrated.
The passive can be quite useful with Yareli's surging blades augment. You can easily group enemies without needing a helminth ability.
Why would you play Yareli without Merulina?
Because merulina sucks
Nuh uh
Good news everybody, bandaid augment means you can play her without being forced to surfboard.
Interestingly the stormpath passive deals several hits which can strip armor via shattering impact. Some demolysts take only 1 slide attack to fully strip it's armor
It rarely ever works on enemies, the only enemies it is reliable against are stuff like butchers and ballista but they already get one tapped anyway
Works for me
Is this weapon good for steel path
Yes, and it is good for grouping
Guys, build a heavy attack boltace with viral and corrupt charge, its so much better than a light attack boltace and honestly more fun to play
Might not be better than the Kronen Prime but it's definitely more fun. Deals with large groups real fast with the first combo in Sovereign Outcast.
This weapon is absolutely busted, way better than kronen prime,
Less crit by a tiny bit, but much higher status, meaning a viral heat build is possible or just pure heat and max crit build with viral nukor.
Also the PASSIVE OF THIS WEAPON IS NUTS. ITS LITERALLY EXODIA HUNT LOL.
AND also increased bullet jump and glide thats like insane.
Im glad no one uses it so our rivens don't get nerfed
Tbf, OG lone tenno said the weapon was insane and better, Ladyvan came and said "no, here's why". Then the whole explanation was handwaved away. If I had to say, the bitterness comes from a denial of reality in one case, and misplaced expectations about internet discutions in the other.
OG lone tenno might also seems to think everybody using the kronen are just jumping aboard the smooth brain bandwagon. While those players definitely exist, that's not a very positive opinion of the community.
As another anon, I think it's the named commenter victory
[ting ting ting]
God damn. This community has so many "experts" that contradict each other. Lemme conclude this argument and answer everyone's questions all at once: If you like this weapon, use it. If you don't like this weapon, don't use it. Arguing how good it is is pointless, because if you truly love min-maxing that much, you will ignore/disregard everyone else anyways. And if you love the weapon that much, you will ignore/disregard everyone else anyways. No one gets anything out of it
^
Dova, Ladyvan is as close to an expert as we have on this forum.
Is Truth innate or not?
On all Telos weapons, yes.
Melee weapons do not have the innate Syndicate effect.
Which is why the Rakta Dark Dagger is able to equip the Syndicate augment mod which adds the Blight effect, while Vaykor Hek has the innate Justice and can't equip the augment that adds the Justice effect.
OH NO WONDER, i always thought you had to me from the syndicate to get the effect which is why i didn't get it
Does stormpath pulls kuva liches too?
It can't neither pull nor lift liches (that's sad)
It's a fun weapon, but it literally gives me Conclave PTSD using it.
rolled a +attack spped+CD -Dmg to corpus riven, damn this thing is beastly
What I love about melee 3.0 is that we now have way more variety when it comes to choosing weapons. All are great, and have similar TTK when fully modded. We do have outliers, but that's just a small portion of huge weapon pool. If most melee weapons perform more than enough, why won't you go for weapons that would provide you additional bonuses? :) Attack speed is quite slow though, so you might need some ways to get around that.
Note: There's 2 icons for storm path. the blue one that looks like a tornado that appears first and the red circle icon that appears 2nd.
I see these icons appear with sliding but I have yet to see any enemies actually lifted into the air.
Its a good melee weapon even without a riven but only with increased speed. With Volt's speed buff quite deadly. The increases of bullet jump is nice: as is the aim glide increase. But you are unlikely to notice unless you using aim glide on purpose with Zypher or Nezha, etc.
When you perform stormpath, first icon (tornado) appears, pulling enemies toward you. If you perform another within that duration(about 8 sec duration), that would lift enemies, and finally cooldown timer will appear (red circle). You cannot perform another stormpath during that time. The "red circle" icon you are seeing is just a cooldown timer. Well, I guess it's an icon nonetheless. Also, are you sure about enemies not being lifted? I've been using this quite sometime, so I am very sure it does lift enemies on the 2nd stormpath.
extremly good and fun weapon. healing return with this weapon is very potent, can reach 98% status with three 60% elemental mods and weeping wounds for even high status, pair that with berserker, CO, BR and this weapon kills everything aswell as healing you for absurd amount. you can sacrifice range on this since stormpath sucks enemies towards you, this is good for frames that need some way of healing, mainly ember, gara, pretty much any frame that has innate damage reduction
Telos Boltace still has the unsightly bug where if you trigger the second Stormpath slide attack you ragdoll enemies vertically upward as a client. It doesn’t proc Lifted status if you’re a client.
This weapons totally increases the velocity/distance of dodge rolls aswell btw. I see it's not mentioned amongst the other 20% buffs.
attack speed of tonfas still feels mcuh slower than other weapons
