Used this mod on a Uranus mission and my Velocitus had bouncing shots in the water section, but not on land (the sound effects were also really muffled on land for some reason). It was killing things in the next room, there were so many projectiles flying about.
Apparently the Velocitus just has bounces sometimes, I never new. Not sure if those are a bug or not.
Velocitus shots bounce off walls in archwing. When equipped using archgun deployer shots wont bounce

Alright so this mod is not bad but is not worth it at all since you can have something way better and the travel time is quite high already for a shotgun... FLak Cannon.
For future Tenno: the mod is worth it now, since it fits in the exilus slot!
Well only worth it on a kuva drakgoon since the normal one has projectiles that slow down so the extra speed and bounces don't do much.

This mod pretty much breaks the weapons charged shots because the punch through applies to the projectile at all times so the extra bounces will only work on terrain for non-charged shots and the speed boost on top of Fatal Acceleration makes most of them miss on the bounce anyway. Cool idea but like the MITER it doesn't work out
Seems to be bugged so that punch through doesn't work any more. Was firing fully charged shots into a crowd of low level grineer, with a Seeking Fury mod too, and all the shots just bounce straight off the chest of the grineer at the front of the crowd.
Completely ruins the ammo efficiency of a weapon that needs a ton of reloading anyway.
Nah. It doesnt just bounce off, the charged shots are completely vanish on hit with enemy, but still punch through doors and thin obstacles just fine.

Too bad the drakgoon is trash. It dosn't make sense how it dosn't deal that much less damage than the tigris, yet the pellet damage is like a fifth of the tigris against armored enemies. It feels like its doing maybe 1/3 of the damage it claims it's doing.
I'm always amazed when a fully charged shot only manages to kill mid-level enemies thanks to the slash proc finishing them. It's listed as doing a ton of damage, but doesn't perform nearly as well as shotguns with lower listed damage.
It's Slash damage base, which is penalized heavily against armor. If you have the right element it will perform adequately, just like any weapon.
The problem is the spotty projectiles of the gun. It seems to be better now, almost a year later, but I do still remember using the Drakgoon during 2015, and the projectiles then where really laggy, sometimes they didn't do damage even if they directly impacted the head, mostly on non-charged shots. While it's a cool concept the whole projectile non-hitscan shotgun kinda doesn't work.

(My guess) Basically still depends on projectile speed, which higher the angle you hit (from 0° to 90° of course), higher the speed loss, which is really bad even with this mod.
Also, when the speed loss is too high and rebounces are incomplete, sometimes the projectiles will stay "active" on the ground for 2 seconds and damage the enemy that touches it.
However! Charged shots are better and have punch-through, and punch-through ruins it
The flight speed is okay, but it could probably use a full 80-100%. I'm not even sure enemies can be hit by the bullets multiple times. The bounces have little to no velocity, so only the first bounce actually moves anywhere. The rest of the bounce will basically roll on the floor. Not even sure if the bullets will hurt enemies more than once.
Cool concept, but poor application. Also.... fix the Drakgoon make it less clunky feeling and more viable?
There are already several other mods that affect flight speed for other weapons and they give 70% more flight speed or +90% flight speed and even one that gives +150% for glaives and nobody uses any of those. How could someone seriously think that we would use a mod that gives only 60% extra flight speed? They should at least have made it at least +300% flight speed so that we could entertain for half a second the idea of actually using it before laughing it off.

I love my Drakgoon and have used this with both Fatal Acceleration and Fomorian Accelerant and I gotta say, I noticed no real difference. Projectiles bounced as much as before with as much speed fall-off as before both out the barrel and when bouncing. Iv taken all punch thru off and really, for using 2 cards these are a joke and even to put one card on... meh.

I have never understood people whose boxes get any sort of performance drop from Mirage.
Whether playing Mirage, playing with another Mirage, playing with an entire squad of Mirages, or doing so pre-patch when all 4 clones actually did damage, I have never, ever had any performance drop whatsoever. Even with everyone in the squad bringing grenade launchers, Soma primes, whatever. Nothing I can do causes even a single FPS drop.
And my rig is a 2 year old laptop. Yes, it's a "gaming laptop" but all that means is that it's like any other high-end laptop with a better designed cooling system. It's an MSI GS60 Ghost. It has a single plain old NVidia 860M. It has 12GB memory, which is plenty, though still not excessive.
Then I see people with 3-month-old dual SLI'd boxes and 32GB of memory complaining that Mirage slows their game down. WTF?

Clearly you've never played with a Mirage using a Torid. Before they fixed the Torid, it would lag a lot of people's machines. I set an FPS cap of 48 since I don't want my laptop to burn up on long sessions, and it usually never fluctuates. Then a Mirage joined with a Torid, and it dropped straight down to 20. Mirage with a Phage was fine. Mirage with an Amprex was fine. Mirage with anything was fine. The there was the Torid.

I dont see what is broken... No punch uncharged, and nice punch while fully charged. Also a mid lvl of punch at half charge... Thats how it always worked.
A better question is who ever used it? Sure it can do lvl 30 under just fine, but so can everything else, better. It feels clunky and has too much screen shake.
