Eternal Onslaught can be purchased from Cavalero for
5,500, requiring Rank 2 - Watcher with The Holdfasts. It can also be dropped by Thrax Centurion, Thrax Legatus, and Void Angels on the Zariman Ten Zero.

- Thrax enemies are abundant in Mobile Defense and Void Cascade missions.

Which is better, this or Shadow? I know this one's preferable for VS, but is it also better for general play as well or too niche?
This is pretty much strictly better. Both affect crit chance in the same way, so +180% is better than +60%. Additionally, Eternal Onslaught is significantly easier to activate and has a 100% activation chance (whereas Virtuous Shadow is only 40% chance). Plus, Eternal Onslaught's activation method doesn't require spending amp energy, leaving you your full capacity for damage once the arcane has activated.
Warframe is all about power output within 1-2 seconds. As long as the proc chance or % isn't so ridiculously low (like 5%), it's always worth it to go for the biggest number. Both of these arcanes refresh and you're more likely to run out of energy if ur struggling to finish an enemy while in operator. So ofc, if someone says I'll give you 180% critical chance for 6s vs 60% crit chance for 12s, 180% crit is better by miles. Condition of energy depletion is actually more preferable since you would use transferrance back to your warframe to collect energy laying on the ground while you were in operator, and transfer back to the operator where you have plenty of time to make use of ur 180% crit chance for 6s. Refreshing means that it also restarts the counter anytime you deplete energy again. To me its a no brainer.
This was clearly made with Madurai's Void Strike in mind!

Is this bugged right now or am I just dumb? I've only ever seen the buff come up once or twice whenever I deplete my amp.
It seems buggy as I've been out of energy multiple times without the effect triggering, casting another ability at low energy seems to trigger it more consistently.
Never mind, spamming your second ability three times still leaves you above 25 energy but not enough to spam it a fourth time, didn't realize.
You have to use contamination wave 3x then use a void sling in place looking down to the floor to activate the energy depleted effect
Just use void strike. 100% depletes.
This + Virtuos Strike is the best you can get on 777.

I got Rank 4 of this Eternal Onslaught and tested it.
It seems add critical for 150%.
223 amp has 22% critical get some yellow critical.
777 amp has 58% critical get often orange critial.
Onslaught can occur with Void Sling cancel(sling then primary click that like Emergence Dissipate) repaeat.
Madurai VS as well. Madurai Contamination Wave then VS will good combination(I tested 777amp Virtuos Strike with Eternal Onslaught for Corrupted Heavy Gunner Lv165 can kill when headshot)
Also can use with Emergence Renewd.

Instead of Eternal Eradicate, try Virtuos Strike for +80% crit damage. Pairs extremely well with this arcane.
Does the rank table have the right numbers? I'm seeing +30% ... +180% in game.
I noticed this as well, I've corrected them.
It was 210% on Devstream 162.
assuming this works as intended & assuming you're using VS/power transfer with eternal eradicate in the second slot, this basically puts #7 prism (klamora) way ahead of everything else including scaffolds in sustained dps. I mean I'll have to wait to truly see but this seems like it will make stripping even terry's shields insanely fast.

Wouldn't Virtuous Strike's +80% CD be better than the 60% damage of eradicate?
On klamora, definitely. fire rate means it'll likely have it up fast despite that ugly 20% chance on crit. however, on slower amp pieces that may not hold true (raplak or propa for example)
So Strike + Onslaught for my 747 is the perfect combo for them deeps, thanks Tennos
