Trivia
- After
Oberon, Mesa is the second Warframe whose main blueprint sells for
30,000.
- The line in Lotus' summary, "Do you feel lucky, Tenno?" is a direct reference to one of Dirty Harry's most popular quotes.
- Mesa was first revealed in Devstream 41, when Art Director Mike "Mynki" Brennan displayed her concept art.
- According to Brennan her default helmet is actually blindfolded, as she enjoys a challenge during fights.
- With her gunslinger theme, Mesa's name is most likely a reference to the land formation of the same name which is common in the Western and Southwestern United States.
- The word mesa is the Portuguese and Spanish word for "table"; the mesa land formation is an elevated area of land with a flat top.
- Mesa is the second Warframe to come with built-in exalted weapons, following
Valkyr.
Excalibur's
Exalted Blade was added after Mesa was introduced, despite being a Warframe that came before both Mesa and Valkyr.
- The firing hammers for Mesa's Regulator pistols are mounted on her thumbs.
- Mesa's Regulator pistols are colored separately in their exalted weapon menu rather than the main Warframe color selection.
- Some related files refer to Mesa as "Cowgirl", which was most likely her name used during development.
- The name of Mesa's 4th ability, Peacemaker, is probably derived from the Colt Single Action Army revolver, which was also called the Colt Peacemaker. Keeping with Mesa's Western theme, the revolver saw considerable use in the American Old West.
- Additionally, the name of Mesa's Regulator Pistols might be a reference to the Regulators, a posse from the American Old West said to have been co-founded by Billy The Kid.
- The style of movement during Peacemaker is inspired by the Gun Kata from the movie Equilibrium. The dual gun poses and near-instant transitions from one pose to another are almost the same as that movie.

Me and my friend did the mission 9 times to get the system and chassi. The mission stucked everytime, doing fail to initiate and lost the squad. We need to do the squad again, every time.
"Mesa bad/annoying because <insert reason here>"
Ok. *goes plays Mesa*
Fr people are so fucking weird about what warframes people play
Most overrated frame in the game. The only thing she is good at is farming protea.
Skill issue? No, this frame is made for skill issue players who can't aim or put together a functioning build for their primary/secondary. And ignoring her exalted there is nothing going on in her kit. Shatter shield is just ok. I try to like every frame but she is just not great at anything. High level content and open world she definitely feels clunky and out of date. Good luck getting a rework because the average Warframe player thinks she's *the best*. At least she has a booty
The only "useless" ability she has is her 1 which has an augment that you can make fun builds with or is just her subsume slot. Her 2 is really good CC and 3 is just DR like any other frame with DR except you still take full damage from melees. Newbies are most likely playing regular star chart and non-SP open-world. What content are "newbies" playing that Mesa can't clear lmao? By the time they get to late game they get access to helminth, shards, proper builds, etc.
"You need to helminth terrify or pillage for armor strip to kill anything in SP quickly with her exalted, and if you are going that far, helminth those onto literally any other frame and get better results."
She can handle EDA without armor strip if you build her correctly, ran her for EDA just this week. She can absolutely handle base SP+ for a good bit (30-40 mins in) without armor strip. If you run stuff like topaz shards and secondary outburst/ceramic dagger she can go even further and shes even more fun to play. She can go even further with armor strip as well. I will not stop telling newbies she's worth the investment if shes (1) fun, (2) easy to build and get going for low-level content that newbies play, and (3) works well for high level content if invested into. If these newbies can't seem to build her to do other content its a skill issue and they have to learn how to build her/get the resources to make her good. If I can run her for EDA which is the highest level endgame content right now, shes definetly viable. Sounds like you have no clue how to make her work. Everyone doesn't care about having the best frame for specific types of content.
How can one man be this wrong?
Bro treating PVE like it's ranked competitive
You are a bot lmao
"+50 health when no melee weapon is equipped."
Lmao way back when they were first making her, I wonder what was running through the person's mind who was deciding what her numbers would be when they added this in. Like I'm curious if they were just completely clueless and fooled themselves in to thinking "Oh yeah this +50 health is really gonna make it a hard decision for the players to decide if they want to bring a melee weapon" or were they actually aware of how worthless it is and thought "Let me go ahead and add something in to her kit that is so unbelievably useless that people will see it and get a quick chuckle out of it".
And now we have Dante which gives +50% status chance on any enemy you've fully scanned. Wild
+50 health ain't so bad when you're on like earth stage of the game, after that it becomes a nice badge of honor for playing mesa "properly"
I won't use melee with her just for the fantasy and meme points. That +50 health is only icing on the cake.
I would have made this +50 *base* health so it scales with mods. Right now it's just seasoning
She reminds me of Narancia for some reason

"The style of movement during Peacemaker is inspired by the Gun Kata from the movie Equilibrium. The dual gun poses and near-instant transitions from one pose to another are almost the same as that movie."
Yeah i was watching the movie the other day, and my first thought was "Yeah this just reminds me of mesa from warframe"
I was entirely correct, but interestingly enough i recognized the movie from the game, not the other way around! xD
Actually, based from what you wrote, your description suggests that you recognised the game from the movie.
Someone gifted me mesa prime. I have been maining her since. Don't understand her abilities though but she is fun
1st ability is extremely useful. Its the spot you subsume better stuff.
Mesa has gyat
9 year old spotted.
No she really does
I came here thinking he Wikia knew what is that Mesa says when you activate the regulators with the fourth ability. It is a satisfying robotic voice sound effect, but nothing mentions who was the voice from and what exactly it means.
I've never noticed any voices when playing Mesa. As far as I know, there's a just a sound effect when activating Peacemaker, not a voice.
Schizophrenic mesa mains be like
I thought it sounded like a low-pitched fart tbh (unless you're referring to something else).
I like how it says mesa's regulator can not target kyta raknoids even tho it clearly can, i literally use them to test my dps against a single enemy
Circuit rules. Fuck boss drops.
Yeah I'm so glad I found out about Circuit lol just this week actually, also built her .-.
Thats what im saying
As shame that sevagoth doesn't have that tho
I just did Alad V assassination 10 times and got 10 neuroptics. Is there a different way he has to be defeated to drop anything else, or is this just to "incentivize" players to use the market place?
Try number 12. He finally dropped a chassis yay.
Or you can obtain her by completing the circuit... in 8 weeks, however.
Pretty sure back 2017 this guy can easily one shot, but now have to freaking wait 3 minute of 3 phase
Alad V*
Do it with another player to make it quick. When one player gets controlled, he loses his invulnerability and the other player can go for the kill.
As of late Shatter shield hasn't been showing up on the top right hud upon activation for me and it seems the damage reduction isn't there. Is this a bug or it just me?
Same
Definitely still getting the buff, my EHP still skyrockets to 50,000+
I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but equipping the "Amalgam Furax Body Count" mod also increases the Fire rate of her Regulators. Would be nice if someone could add this to the Tipps & Tricks section.
Have you tried it in a mission? Someone asked in the Amalgam Furax Body Count page if it works with Mesa and some people said yes but there was a guy who tested it in mission and said it doesn't work. He said the stats change when you equip the mod but when tested in mission it doesn't. Just wanted to get a second opinion before I farm for the mod.
Yes, I just tested it again (this time in a mission) and it still works. Due to the already high fire rate it is only really noticeable on the first couple shots before the speed ramps up. I unequipped all mods and arcane acceleration to test and there was 100% a noticeable difference.
Her 4 is aimbot lol
Sherlock
Is askomati prime good on mesa? -xykuz
Sup kuz.. im -abcd
I just noticed that there's a magazine stat on the regulators, and that you can actually increase it with Ice Storm, for example. So i was wondering what does this do? Does the ring get smaller more slowly with more magazine or something? 🤔
Absolutely nothing. Regulators are treated internally both as an ability and as a secondary (not just for modding purposes, you get credit for NW missions that require to get kills with a secondary for example). They were just lazy and used the stock weapon ui that includes a magazine display.
I swear you can run out of ammo and youll have to reactivate your ult for more.
You're wrong, you cant run out of ammo, you can only run out of energy.
Mesa has particularly bad lockout bugs when playing with a 200-300 ms connection, to the point of being unplayable, though that's with a lot of operator use.
Lol any game is nearly unplayable with that ping tho xD
Me at over 400 ping
I have one of the prime mesa blueprints or something on my account but the requirements for warframe have increased so i gotta get a better pc
Idk what youre talking about im currently using an I5-8600 and 8gb ram at 720p 45fps solid or 60fps sometimes, still playable and enjoyable shockingly only 8gb of ram
Yea but whenever i start warframe it says that i dont meet the requirements for playing or sometihng
Just get a Video card that supports directx 12... i had the same problem on another machine
