Passive
Citrine emits a healing aura within a radius of 50 meters, granting the Geoluminesence buff to herself and allies that continuously recover a base 5 Health points per second. Whenever she picks up a regular Health Orb,
Dispensary produced Empowered variant, or
Transmutation Probe converted Universal Orb, regeneration rate is permanently increased by 0.1 points, up to a maximum heal rate of 25 points per second after collecting 200 Health Orbs.
- Until her passive reach max stacks, Citrine innately can always collect Health Orbs to increase her passive healing even when unharmed.
- Allies gain or lose Geoluminesence whenever they enter or exit Citrine's Passive radius.
- Passive radius matches Affinity Range distance, but is separate from it therefore Fosfor and
Mending Unity do not affect Geoluminesence.
- Passive radius matches Affinity Range distance, but is separate from it therefore Fosfor and
- Passive heal rate is indicated by a diamond-shaped UI indicator above the ability icons. The accumulated passive value occupies the upper red triangle, while
Preserving Shell's real-time damage reduction and remaining duration countdown curve occupy the lower orange triangle, only appearing when the ability is active.
- Geoluminesence is displayed both in Citrine's UI indicator and as a Buff icon beside her and her squadmates' hitpoints indicators.

I don't understand the "hate" about the "totally atrocious" grind.
I'm MR 14 and it took me 2 days of playing the mission for 1 hour, so 2 hours in total. I dropped 2 of Citrines BPs, both weapon BPs, most of the weapon parts and still had enough gems to buy the missing 2 frame BPs. I did it on steelpath, which increases the amount of gems you drop, but not by THAT much. And even in SP the mission is damn easy - and gave me a nice amount of arcanes from acolytes and some Steel essence on top.
You could almost say I played the game to get Citrine.
Of course, if you just do calculations of the droprate, the amount of times you need to get to rotation C and how long it takes to get there, you surely get numbers like 60 hours of game time to get the warframe BPs. But those numbers are just theory.
Congrats you had good rng
It supposed to resemble geodes, but it looks like her body is full of gaping wounds.
Yikes.
Drop chances are certainly not 6% fuck this
Citrine is one of the grindiest warframes to get, ever.
Just look at the approximate amount of C rotations you have to go through to get at least one part.
And C rotation means 4 times for 2 crystals, 2 minute defenses each. 16 minutes for ONE C rotation.
Now multiply 16 minutes by the amount of rotations you see on this Wiki page.
Which is, at LEAST 4160 minutes, or 69 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY, on one of the most boring mission types, to farm her out, if you don't buy her parts from Otak. This is so dumb I almost can't believe it.
I'll do some calculations to make this horrible grind clear (comparable with Jade). I'll only consider the highest fragment cost when buying any stuff from otakk.
I usually get 120 each fragment when collecting all those crystals after rotation C, with 26 minutes of gameplay. The Citrine set costs in a total of:
500 + 350 + 350 + 350 = 1.550 fragments
So this means, without the luck of getting any of her parts:
1.550/120 = 12.92 (13 times reaching rotation C)
13*26 = 338 minutes (5.63 hours or ~5 hours and ~35 minutes)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the rest of the stuff (Corufell + Steflos + Citrine's scene, rank 5 arcanes (x5), Citrine prex):
Corufell: 500 + 250 + 250 + 250 = 1.250 fragments
Steflos: 500 + 250 + 250 + 250 = 1.250 fragments
Citrine's scene: 1.000 fragments
(x5 rank 5 arcanes): 5*21*60 = 6.300 fragments
Citrine prex: 100 fragments
Ignoring the drop chance, to have both weapons:
2.500/120 = 20.83 (21 times reaching rotation C)
21*26 = 546 minutes (9.1 hours or ~9 hours and ~5 minutes)
Ignoring the drop chance, to have all r5 arcanes:
6.300/120 = 52.5 (53 times reaching rotation C)
53*26 = 1,378 minutes (22.97 hours or ~22 hours and ~55 minutes)
To have Citrine's scene & Citrine prex:
1.100/120 = 9.17 (10 times reaching rotation C)
10*26 = 260 minutes (4.33 hours or ~4 hours and ~20 minutes)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In summary, 91 times reaching rotation C & 2.522 minutes / 42.03 hours / 1.75 days in the same boring mission just to have all the stuff if you have the terrible luck of not getting any of these.
It seems the end game of Warframe is this mode, lmao! better have the platinum to buy all of this and forget the single mission you can grind Citrine.
All of that math assumes as you state you ignore the drop chances for any parts. That is grossly overstating an improbability. I have nowhere near that much time or even runs on that mission, and not only have all gear, arcanes, and scene, I have multiple copies of the weapons, managed 3 copies of citrine (I play with others as well to help them get theirs), all in a fraction of that stated time. I would still rather having a secondary resource to purchase missing parts than to have it like older frames where grinding and rng are all you have (Khora and Equinox anyone?) Some of you bitch just to bitch and don't have any real reason to when you're given easy ways out.
Citrine definitely FEELS grindier, which is interesting. Though I have yet to have a frame give me as much trouble as Wisp. I ran Ropalolyst so much I could solo it in under 5 minutes and it took me well over 50 runs before I managed to get her last part. I think the issue with Citrine is that it's easy to look at the costs and just assume that the shards are the only way to get them, and if they were it would be a very intimidating grind.
The other issue, is that a lot of players don't play the mission very well. I've only run it a few times and I've already started to get a bad taste of players simply.... not trying to get the shards. It might be that they don't know what they're doing, but it certainly makes the mission feel like a lot more of a grind.
The worst part of all is joining in as a random, and everybody leaves after wave 3, or rotation b, because they don't understand the rotation system. It's especially bad on weeks like this last one, where you have to do three waves specifically for the nightwave challenge, making trying to get a free bp is like pulling teeth from a pissed of crocodile. Finally at 700~ of each shard, with no bp drops besides a couple of the weapon parts that I don't want. The grind wouldn't be anywhere near as bad if they would just double fragment rewards to counter shit rng.
I love Citrine so much but please give her skins she's so ugly outside of her torso and gemussy.
This right here is the worst warframe to farm.
Nothing else comes even remotely close.
I don't understand why the grind has received no nerfs at all.
Just add parts to rotation A and B, it's not that hard.
I remember the days when people said Mesa was hard to farm lmao.
Bit Weirdge to assume that someone is unintelligent because they don't like something; they didn't even specify what made it the worst to them
I've farmed Ash (before they buffed the Railjack loot tables), Baruuk + Hildryn, Caliban, Equinox, and Sevagoth
I would sooner do every single one of those farms over again than play defense (mirror or otherwise) for more than a 5 wave alert
Not because it's hard but because defense is the least enjoyable mode in the game by far for me
Still better than Grendel though, those missions were the worst things I've seen in the entirety of Warframe (again, not about difficulty)
Every frame I have has been legit farmed. Atlas was annoying, old Ash sucked because of the rng of grineer manics (before railjack was even a thing). Equinox can go die in a pit (not just for the farm, but the build time too). Vauban was pure rng on if you were online and paying attention when his alerts came up as well as alerts for nitain. Khora just kind of happened while doing my daily ESO for focus, but the genetic code farming to actually build her made me want to pull my own teeth with rusty pliers.
I still don't have Citrine because I don't like sitting in a 20 minute defense mission for a tiny chance to acquire the bps. Heck, I went and solo farmed Grendel and would rather do that again than waste that much time hoping and praying for Citrine parts to drop. The pity mechanic is definitely needed on her, same for Dante, I just wish Gauss had a pity mechanic too, because I actually did that farm and hated it.
Many of you are comparing missions that can be fun or really usefull for other things.
You can get Khora while leveling your equipment and dealing different factions in different tilesets.
There's no comparison between Hildryn and Citrine. Facing Exploiter Orb is more fun than doing a boring mission again and again, without any posibility to do the rounds faster. You have more chance to have the set on Hildryn than this Warframe.
With Harrow you have more variety of missions, the grind is more enjoyable than this and you get a variety of resources.
Equinox... it depends of your luck sadly, but it can be faster than this sh*t
Protea... huh? there are a LARGE of number of missions to do while farming this warframe!
Voruna: uhm... relics, prime parts? you can literally open any type of relic while grinding her or her weapons. But would be good having more missions, instead of 2 with only level difference.
Caliban: the grind can be horrible, but at least the missions and enemies can vary. Between Fortuna & Cetus. But it can be comparable tbh
Sevagoth: You open relics while farming him, but the mission can get longer depending on the mission.
Grinding this warframe and Jade is horrible, because the drop chance is so low that you have to repeat the mission many times. Waiting 25 minutes to reach rotation C, hoping to receive a part you need of her. The lack of fragments you get doesnt worth the time you spent on a SINGLE mission.
DE should deffinetly change the way of adding new content, because we only get one single node for every new mission mode. Making the grind horrible!!! Geez! Its like "oh, you want new modes to try? well, have this, a new mode in one mission. Now suffer while we're adding more modes in the near future"
So the main BP are supposed to have an higher chance to loot ? 9.30% and 6% for parts ?
I have 2 chassis and 5 system, didn't looted a single BP
Meanwhile I got 3bps but not the other parts and had to buy them with gems
Amazing frame but needs some skins she's kinda ugly
TRUE
GEMUSSy
GEMUSSY
IN WHAT WORLD IS SHE UGLY?
Gemussy
I knew this would be here in the comments, but the first one? fml.
It's already been more than a year since she came out, yet still no new skins or anything. Starting to follow down the same path as Gyre.
You commented this after she already had a helmet out though?
He said skin not helmet
"Or anything"
Pretty much nobody cares about helmets, most people want entirely different skins not some reshape of the same head
Welp, this girl is getting his first Augment mod after next update as well, same for Baruuk
Bro baruuk has 2 augments
And are pretty neat! the status adaptation thing make him strong brrrrr its like revenant 4th but much stronnger
Except baruuk's desert wind punchthrough does not contribute to combo multiplier ;-;
I like her a lot. She can support, tank and even DPS with Archon Vitality + Roar.
I don't run the DPS setup for Netracells. I use my regular support tank build, with kit intact.
Good choice, not everything has to be boring, tired shield gating meta. Her kit is fantastic the way it is.
Bro said her "useless 2".... I'm sorry, but citrine is one of the VERY FEW frames where her whole kit is good.
"useless 2" is some advanced youtuber shield gate brain rot
Yeah this is good. If you play Revenant, consider switching to this instead. Press 2, then finally support your team.
I mean....If you're only pressing 2 you'd be better off with the Mesmir Shield augment. I'm pretty sure Revenant is used because he has an immortal button that takes little to no maintenance, and Citrine is pretty much the opposite of that.(it doesn't make her immortal and it takes some work to maintain). When it comes to a frame with infinite scaling survivability while keeping minimum maintenance in doing so revenant is still basically the top of the list on that department...for better or worse.
.... takes some work to maintain..... You just need to get kills or assists, how is that work to do the thing you are already doing?
You have to refresh the skill every 30-40 seconds. You only have to refresh mesmer skin when your teammates stacks go down. If they dont get hit often those 5 stacks can last
Oh no, I have to spend energy and refresh a skill by pressing a button...... I swear people just want the game to play itself now. Why play or make new frames that take some form of skill or knowledge to play when revenant exists? Why play any other frame when revenant exists?
Save your sanity and just buy her with plat.
Citrine is far worse than Equinox bros, Equinox is a quick 3min mission while citrine takes 20mins per part. If you dont have any luck than it takes multiple hours to buy all the parts.
I like mirror defense but no specifically going for Citrine sucks, use mirror defense to level your weapons or something
Dude what are you smoking, "3 minutes" maybe if Tyl Regor and his manic goons actually decide to stop playing hide and seek. Was more like a 8 minute mission in my experience, and the fact that equinox requires 8 parts without a pity system means you have no other options if you get shitty rng on the final piece. The Citrine farm is just a slog, but made painful by the fact that the pity system needs two types of currency that you get a few crumbs at a time every 5 minutes (which realistically would have been double the cost if it was just 1 currency, purely an emotional issue there), but the fact that it has an actual end goal in the worst case scenario makes it infinitely better than the equinox farm. No joke I have probably fought Regor more than 150 times at this point just farming for that last damned night aspect component, it would have been way worse if I needed to do it a second time for helminth.
Turbo is an afk asshole
RE: Equinox
Yeah the farm is cringe but I farmed Equinox yesterday and averaged around 2:30 runs
In terms of time/run sounds like a skill issue
Just hit them ?XD
Does the Vazarin XP-Range-Buff increase the Healradius?
Yes
False, it does not. Her passive is 50m, which matches base affinity range, but DOES NOT equal affinity radius. Simply reading the passive info block would have told you this, but for the lazy:
"Passive radius matches Affinity Range distance, but is separate from it therefore Fosfor and Mending Unity do not affect Geoluminesence."
The frame releases on my birthday.
She also released on my birthday, happy late birthday
Can someone upload her sound effects pwetty pwease ;3
https://kasumata.ee/ under Lotus/Sounds/Warframes/Citrine
Why tf every part is in the same roll -_-
Bc frick us- DE mostlikely
I got the assembly blueprint on the final farming run I needed to go on. Thanks, Warframe.
Because she has a pity system (Talk to Otak). Have a Titania on your team or play Titania while your team defends crystal.
Having at least one of her part is basically a discount.
^ I dropped two part already but still pain in my [Ash] to farm a bit of crystal for hour -_-
Why everyone talking about the abilities of the warframe?
Sure is a good warframe, but this is warframe wiki i expected a bunch of jokes about her ussy.
My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined. >:c
Her ussy? More like her, the ussy.
You know you're alive when phallic\clitoral symbols make you laugh
Worst frame ever made
????
She is literally one of the best supports??
Average warframe wiki user. Absolutely degenerate take.
