Notes[]
- As with other heavy weapons, the Magistar's wall attack is a horizontal circular swing that slowly swings the weapon around the Warframe, allowing it to hit enemies more easily compared to other wall attacks that require pinpoint precision. Unfortunately, this prevents the Magistar from using its wall attack to launch itself upwards, as it will perform the maneuver horizontally regardless of where the Warframe is looking, making it fall instead.
- The Magistar also shares another unusual property with other heavy weapons, namely its tendency to shake the screen violently while blocking attacks.
Incarnon Genesis[]
- Upon completion of The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman, and unlocking The Steel Path, players can earn
Magistar Incarnon Genesis from The Circuit's Steel Path to place on their Magistar with the help of Cavalero in the Chrysalith. This Incarnon Genesis form grants it evolutions to a transformation and newfound strength.

- Installing the Magistar Incarnon Genesis requires 20
Pathos Clamps, 70
Dracroot, and 150
Aggristones.

- In Update 15.1 (2014-11-05), the heavy melee weapon family received linear buffs across the board. The Magistar was notably the only one among the affected weapons (Magistar,

Scindo (Prime) to also receive a nerf, having its attack rate lowered from 1.1 to 0.8.

TOO MUCH RANGE FOR NO EFFORT
AT LEAST GIVE IT SOME CONDITIONS TO REACH ITS MAX RANGE LIKE HEIGHT OF FALL
MONKEYS ARE SPAMMING IT SO FAST TO CLEAR SP ROOMS IN LESS THAN A SECOND
Evolution II
Perk 1: Crushing Verdict:Increase Damage by +100 (Magistar) / +20 (Sancti). With Channeled Ability active: Increase Follow Through by +100%.
Ingame say Damage Fall Off +100%
Thats why i confused af, and something happen? I can't pose screenshot anymore
Also, Do not use Diriga when doing Evolution IV's Challenge, its sapper will bring enemy back on their feet instantly when they down. "ground" finisher will not work if enemy drop on a stair.
The Incarnon of this thing + Khora... And Ceramic Dagger Incarnon + Atlas gotta be the most annoying thing you can find in your squad.
Why would it be annoying? I barely see anyone play Khora or Atlas in pubs, I'd be glad to see them in pubs
Others players use good build = his "good" build can't be "good"
Absolute worst weapon in the entire game...the incredibly low damage combined with the dramaticly low speed makes it entirely useless, so useless infact that the only way you could actually use it as a weapon is by either crafting the sibear or throwing it in the trash and getting the sancti version. "high impact damage" is true, but its like call someone 6ft 1in tall.... yeah its true, but youll still feel like you were lied too
Man is dumb, no need to discuss with him @IchigoMait
The magus aggress part is definitely NOT intended, that's supposed to expend charges when used, not give its full bonus 300% crit damage to a stat stick that's otherwise never used and fully transfer that to whipclaw.
Pretty odd exploit that they'd mention it in the ability description. Like it was a major, intended draw of the ability that it copies your melee weapon's mods. Wonder when they'll get around to fixing that bit they specifically wrote in there, alongside coding the pseudo-exalts as a whole to do that on accident. Clumsy, clumsy DE, always adding in entire mechanics on accident.
Stat sticks were a mistake.
i see a little bit of power rangers used as refrence for this
So magistar now is basically a fragor reskin? (but longer)
Fragor is better
Magistar Prime when?
tomorrow
We can probably expect to see a Magistar Prime come out along with Oberon Prime when the time comes seen as it was originally released with him.
RIP
Silva & Aegis became a mace and shield.
Magistar + Nezha + Speed spamming Volt = not being able to hit the broad side of a barn (although if you're lucky you might hit the barn the next farm over when the swing finally connects).
The Magistar is a heavy, high-impact flanged mace.
Since when is 80 damage high impact? That's like walking into a parked car and dying
We Santi Magistar now
Magistar hs been my first hammer in game, i wonder what will this Sancti variant be
Magistar is a mace, not a hammer.
There is no "mace" weapon type in Warframe, so it's a hammer.
I really hate that those good looks are going to waste... DE pls buff. #makemagistargreatagain
if you missed the latest devstream, they announced the syndicate melee weps. now loka is getting a magistar
and it looks awesome..
Sibear? You mean the abortion on a stick, after a few days in the fridge?
You may not like the look of Sibear, but that thing is way better then this.
I really think that either a Magistar Prime or Prisma Magistar (or both) would be a nice addition since this thing is currently the closest we can get to a crit hammer.
Magistar Prime:
135 damage, spread out as 35 slash, 70 puncture, and 30 impact (because it's a flanged mace, gosh dang it.)
0.917 attack speed
25% crit chance
2.0x crit multiplier
15% status chance
Prisma Magistar
100 damage, spread out as 50 puncture, 30 impact, 20 slash
0.95 attack speed
20% crit chance
2.5x crit multiplier
20% status chance
(Just my idea of what their stats would look like)
Fagor says hi >w>
Unfortunately the call was answered with Fragor Prime and the new Heliocor... still might have a chance with Sancti Magistar?
You might be in luck, oberon SHOULD be getting primed next, so we might get a magistar prime along with him
Isnt this the weapon thats gonna get that Beer-keg skin?
When you carry this thing it so badass but the stat is f@ck
It has 20 % crit ? how come i didn´t see this until now lol
Because it only does 80 damage.
From what I've seen, this is one of the best weapons for maximizing Atlas' Landslide attack.
Atlas' Landslide isn't affected by the weapon used, only the mods.
Telos Magistar > Telos Boltace
