Notes[]
- Nidus Prime, compared to
Nidus:
- As with any other Prime Warframe, moving close to the location of an Orokin Void Death Orb will restore a pulse of 250 Energy to nearby allies, even if that Death Orb is inactive, destroyed, or non-present. This effect can only occur once per orb.
- Nidus Prime's appearance changes as he accumulates Mutation Stacks:
- At 3 stacks, black tendrils form on the left side of his face, as well as his entire left arm.
- At 5 stacks, the tendrils extend to cover his chest and back.
- At 7 stacks, the right side of his fleshy body becomes covered in a black mass, as the golden metallic spikes on his right arm protrude outward, while tendrils form on his lower body.
- At 10 stacks, the tendrils extend to cover his entire face and thighs.
Virulence,
Larva,
Ravenous' Maggots and its Infested nests have unique models of Orokin design, appearing twisted and overtaken by Nidus' Infestation.
- Maggot Prime visually resembles
Excalibur Prime's default helmet.

Anyone notice their Nidus' having a random 15% increased ability strength without any mods equipped?
Mhmm I've seen it too
That's one of his Rank Up bonuses. It's very nice.
How to turn into mutated form?

Hit enemies with first abilities
Enemies hit by first ability, killed while in second ability, and killed inside his 4th ability grant you mutation stacks which increase his 1st ability damage, lets him use 3rd and 4th ability, stops lethal damage and changes his form
Was farming for void traces with randoms and i had somehow gotten the entire set for nidus prime during it.
I did 1 hour and farmed 2 sets 13 hours is trash

Who asked you? No one cares.

Hello, everyone
I don't know if there was a Nidus Blueprint in the Neo N16 relict at the time of these comments, there wasn't just one Nidus Prime Neurooptik-Blueprint.
Golden right arm after completing NNN three years in a row
Fucking legend
You sir, have passed the vibe check
Lmao
LOL
Lmao Fashionframists punching the air rn because he doesn't look like a Seraphim or Throne or some s%#@
I'm a fashionframist and I think he looks pretty neat.
Fashionframists when the new prime doesn't have an elongated cock so they can't put emphera on it.
By far the best Ballas voiced trailer. Period.
Honestly with DE ret-conning a lot of lore, it is arguable that Orokin managed to harness infested power and created Nidus Prime
Phorid since like, nearly forever: "We are your flesh, why do you defile us?"
So...OP here. I call Warframe lore ret-conned because, in theory, they lost control of the Infested until the development of Prime warframes, like Exca Umbra, except Primes don't have a mind of their own like Umbra did. But Nidus is developed from Mycona Colony (their old war Relic, not Orokin). How Orokin developed Nidus prime, would be a mystery.
I think it's implied that Nidus Prime kinda evolved on his own somehow? Maybe like the frame itself finding a half-finished prime shell of a scrapped frame and just infested it.
Iirc warframes do have a mind of their own its just insane from the effects of the helminth (hence rhino prime eating everybody) and is thus repressed to keep the frames docile.
Nidus didn't need a Prime; doesn't match lore.
Since when did DE actually care about lore, especially their older lore? Just look at valkyr prime for a massive departure from the lore.
At this point I just see primes as warframes for the elite forces instead of being the original.
"Every frame has a Prime, that's the literal lore"
Yareli Prime is coming, the animations will be epic, it is merely a question of when
If the primes are obtainable like this than every regular warframe should be obtainable through quests not grinds 10x harder than their prime varaints
The mutated form of Nidus seriously reminds me of the Typhon enemies from Prey (2017), especially the Phantom. Finished the game recently, so that immediately came into my mind. Very cool, nonetheless.
Look cool as hell, love it
GIVE ME
10/10 worth getting! :)
After so long, we finally have them... Tenno Maggots.
WHY ARE YOU STILL BREATHING MY AIR!?
Wait A sec are you tenno or Vay Hek?
You tried to pop this, GLISTENING MAGNIFICENCE
Tenno MAGGOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The design is actually so hype contrary to what many people think!
So ugly, this is for sure the ugliest prime ever created, it looks like an amoeba with legs, the nidus deluxe looks much more "prime" than its prime version, these images don't represent how he came into the game, he looks much better on paper than in the game.
To the person above, WHAT???
So who wants to tell the guy above that both Frost and Atlas cover themselves in their respective elements during normal gameplay?
This design is great, and I think people who don't like it either dont like the infested in general or overlook the story of the prime frame. Nidus prime is the embodiment of infested frame, not a frame that was then infested. Nidus p isnt pure "orokin" like the other frames because it was built to control infested powers, in the reverse Nidus p also isnt a frame that was simply "infested" because it was built from the ground up to incorporate its infested powers within an orokin frame. The fusion of both concepts so intricately is another glimpse at the sheer power the orokin once had to create such a construct. It reminds me somewhat of Stukov in starcraft compared to any other infested terran, it's fundamentally at a different level.
Lol nidus the prime turd
What's his deadline for Prime Access btw?
No guarantee but it's usually around 90 days, so expect till December or January at worst in case the New War release reschedules shit.
Oh thank goodness I have time
Sadly the "Armor Per Stack" wasn't a real thing :(
I hate that the only thing i need is the nitain extract and i don't have noghtwave creds
*Nightwave
You gain 150x Creds on first level, you should always buy extract first
Best Nidus Prime relic Farm Besides Bounty ?
I refer void - hepit for lith and ukko for meso/neo but there are unvaulted relics in the table there also so its a touch diluted but the copmetion rate is way faster IMO
The void capture missions IMO are best for this. If you're having trouble, don't bother buying the set and instead just buy a part or two, saves a lotta plat.
I can slam out some ghoul purge when it comes around... those are some nice percentages. other nice rewards too. plus cetus wisps which is always nice.
Mars disruption is pretty soloable, decent drop rates, also nice "other" relics.
With the right frame, solo interceptions aren't SO bad... like, they can be easy to do, if the other missions are too hard to be done quickly, or possible to solo if you're alone... they do take a while though. sort of a last resort. expect high levels of "drudgery".
Sanctuary onslaught is nice, decent relic drops, and the focus you get is always welcome. I usually do some of this anyways. breaks up the monotony of grinding objectives. just kill stuff quick.
Lastly, if you can run iso vaults and bounties with any kind of efficiency, you can grind for relics and entrati standing and some other neat stuff at the same time.
JUST for Nidus prime parts, not worried about farming efficiency/synergy with other stuff? disruption with a dedicated team. pop multiple conduits simultaneously, hunt the demos, don't wait for them. you can SCREAM through the rotation so fast, it's actually faster to burn through the rotations you don't need, than to leave and come back.
Ur late dummy

Clarify?
People really expecting a shiny ferrari for an infested warframe design kekw
Yeah ikr; it looks fuckin awesome for its theme but watching people bitch about it and instead expecting something like that Technocyst tennogen skin (which looks pretty cool don't get me wrong, but doesn't even remotely fit Nidus or WF as a whole) is borderline depressing and makes you understand why DE themselves pretty much gave up from any artistic consistency, especially for their deluxe skins when all the most vocal troglodytes want is generic sci-fi shit that belongs in some Marvel flick.
Bring back Mynki full-time and make WF unique again.
Mynki left because he didn't want to be known as "the warframe artist", having left to expand his portfolio and left geoff (his assistant art director and the other half of the brain responsible for WF's art style) in charge.
Bruh people who complain abt his looks should just get the phryke skin for him instead of becoming a sodium generator with the amount of tears they making
Mynki was a hack - the game is far better off with Keith Thompson is charge of art, he's the OG that created the game's original look.
Can Nidus Prime get the cyst? Sitting in the chair, long after maxing out the Helminth, doesn't provide an injection and only offers normal subsume/invigoration options.
He can. I just got rid of it
No, he IS the cyst
