Technically it does mean "tank" as well, just as "tank" itself is a word for something else that was used to described the vehicle.

Still a pocket saryn that does the same job as before. if you not running with verglas, you wont get a viral spreader of this sort. Very niche for its purpose. So yeah, nothing about aging here, but what to expect from overframe simps that cant even understand basic mod building, go cry on forums again how netracells are impossible - and no, "A fandom user" wont hide your history, nerd.

Panzers still have their own niche, they're the best users of some of the supportive Bond mods, they have a shorter respawn timer than other pets, and spreading Viral around is still a really nice effect, even if Hounds and Diriga can do it to some effect too.

Panzers are still a very viable and fine choice for a companion, and I'd argue that they're kind of a comfort pick honestly, where they're always doing something, but not doing so much that they kind of end up nearly doing "too" much, in a way (which is totally fine if you like stuff like Nautilus that can group enemies btw, it's just a playstyle thing and what different people find fun, I just mean that Panzers are much less intrusive to regular gameplay in the support that they provide, while also still providing some very useful benefits).

It's also worth noting that Panzers, on top of having their Larval form, are surprisingly tanky in general honestly, which is nice in a companion.

Panzers aren't bad, this post didn't age poorly or anything, but, it's also not productive to call the person who said that insults, we all like the game, and we all like talking about the game, it's healthier for discussion and for ourselves if we give people the benefit of the doubt.

If you mean by petting like interacting with, no. If you mean having multiple types, copies, then yes. You can have as many duplicates as you have pet slots for.

They have to be attacked by infested to become weakened for them to be eligible for Revivification.

You can sedate them and then lure an infested charger to their location to attack it by standing next to the sedated Vulpaphyla.

Their name should change to have 'weakened' in front, I think.

I was wondering why the creatures I caught weren't showing up, but I missed that they should be attacked by infested first (and survive).

It seems that playing steel path means that whenever they get attacked they die, and when they don't get attacked I cannot use them.

I guess I should turn off steel path for this.

If you are using it for it to hit a decired single target, then yeah, viral quills is meant for crowd control, thats why it shoots multiple quills with a 4 second cooldown, and also it might be your luck.

Probably too many fast moving enemies in an area at once. Mine has a tendency to snipe targets I'm trying to snipe, and pin them to walls.

The pet is considered "dead" during the larva phase so they dont get any of their abilities (minus the larva one as it triggers on KO).

Hunter Recovery and Bite, animal instinct and fetch is great

with this pet

Mine is not retaining Fetch + Animal Radar buff when turned into lava for some reason...

Its intentional,when it reverts into a larva, the pet is still "dead", and only when it matures back, you get back the effects.

Go to cambion drift when its fass

Or just find a vuplaphyla shit and use a pheromone

Interesting thing i discovered myself is that even though you might get a ton of good captures, certain conditions neeed to be met for the fox to be eligible for co panionship. Namely, if you have a few infested nearby, try luring the 2 together, so that they begin fighting and weakening the fox. If you capture it while it's health is depleted but not dead, you will get it as an option for revivification and so it can be made into a pet. I recentky got a new panzer this way. If you sleep them on full healrh you don't need to save their lives, but also don't outright shoot them as they are super easy to kill accidentally.
