Primed Smite Grineer increases the damage of melee weapons against Grineer. The mod increases both the base damage and elemental damage of a weapon.
Stats[]
| Rank | Effect | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | x1.05 | 4 |
| 1 | x1.1 | 5 |
| 2 | x1.15 | 6 |
| 3 | x1.2 | 7 |
| 4 | x1.25 | 8 |
| 5 | x1.3 | 9 |
| 6 | x1.35 | 10 |
| 7 | x1.4 | 11 |
| 8 | x1.45 | 12 |
| 9 | x1.5 | 13 |
| 10 | x1.55 | 14 |
Acquisition[]
- This mod can be purchased unranked from Baro Ki'Teer for
140,000 and
350. Note however that Baro Ki'Teer's stock changes with each appearance, and may not have this item available at every time.
Notes[]
- Has no effect on Corrupted and Narmer Grineer (e.g. Corrupted Lancer, Narmer Lancer).
- Despite being listed as a multiplier, it will stack additively with other sources of Damage to Grineer.
- For example, if you had a Riven Mod with x0.5 Damage to Grineer and a max rank Primed Smite Grineer with x1.55 Damage to Grineer, you would have a 1 - 0.5 + 0.55 = x1.05 multiplier for damage against Grineer with both mods equipped.
Patch History[]
Update 34.0 (2023-10-18)
- Changed the Faction Damage Mod (includes Bane, Cleanse, Expel, Smite, Railjack, and Riven Faction Stats) descriptions to use multiplier instead of percentage based stat formatting. Damage values have not changed! Just the way they are communicated.
- For example: Smite Corpus (at max rank)
- Was: “+30% Damage to Corpus.”
- Now: “x1.3 Damage to Corpus.”
- This change better communicates how Faction Damage is calculated, since calculation occurs when you hit the enemy, as opposed to when you shoot like other damage sources (since it needs to know what Faction is being hit). For that reason, multipliers apply to final damage as a whole and not just part of the formula!
- For example: Smite Corpus (at max rank)
Hotfix 27.0.7 (2019-12-20)
- Introduced to Baro Ki'Teer's rotation.

All faction damage mods are nerfed eh?
Bane and Smite, y tho?
nvm im braindead, and cant delete lmao
lmao mood
have a riven with dual stat and harmless negative that frees up a mod slot and that gives room to slot one of these puppies in, symphony of destruction
Try with heavy slash weapon and gas with lots of toxin stacked
This mods are insane for melee https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsGtgcQ4kGM
I heard Faction mods are particularly good for Slash procs, applying to them twice, so - would that make this mod good for Heavy Attack builds that force slash procs?
I mean I tried it out and it seems good, I just want consensus from more people
I don't think this mod works particularly great on Heavy Attack builds that force procs, it definitely helps to boost the damage by a good margin, but in any case, it'll probably be the last mod to be added. As FINNER said, it shows best when the procs happen a lot. So, I would say it's an ok-good mod for the builds you're asking about, and it's a monster of a mod for quick slash-based shredders, like Tonfas or Dual Swords
It should work great on heavy attacks as they double dip, so 1.55x base damage then thats multiplied by 1.55 again for the proc so you get a slash proc 2.4x bigger than without the mod, in comparison normal smite mods get you a 1.7x boost on slash procs.
1.7x is higher than 1.55x so the normal is better than the primed? doesn't sound right
^You read that reply wrong. Primed Smite gives a 2.4x TOTAL boost to slash procs. Normal Smite gives a 1.7x TOTAL boost to slash procs. This isn't rocket science; use some common sense.
