500 / 750 / 1,000 / 1,250 Slash damage with guaranteed status and light Stagger to enemies in front of him, within 15 / 17 / 18 / 20 meters and Line of Sight in a 50 degree cone.
- Dark Verse damages and breaks destructible Objects such as crates and props in its area of influence, bypassing line-of-sight restriction.
- Line-of-sight detection begins from the crossword visual effect several meters in front of Dante himself.
- Can be recast immediately once the second stroke appears on the crossword.
- Casting Dark Verse is a full-body animation that allows uninterrupted movement and parkour Maneuvers.

The second stroke can be used in a different direction by aiming elsewhere right after the first stroke, either to target additional enemies or break more destructibles. The time between strokes is affected by , so increasing it can make aiming the second stroke more difficult.

Dismantle
Dante = Sukuna (replace the 1st with Storm of Ukko, and 4th with an exalted Heat Bow), because Light Verse = Reverse Cursed Technique, and his Dark Verse is Cleave/Dismantle.
I get hit markers on Zehpyrs' tornadoes, but I don't have a subsumed dante to test if it transfers damage
I wonder if putting Dark Verse on Ash's 1st is viable, because Ash passive boosts slash damage.
I use shuriken to find enemies behind walls and this could do the same thing so maybe
If you're trying to helminth this on Ash like I did, it's not SP-viable. I even put it on 4th slot to take advantage of Precision Intensify but it's still far from viable on SP.
Such a fun ability.
I love roaming through star chart and cleaving everything in sight. Being able to destroy objects is also super fun.
Dark Verse's slash proc, does not scale of duration. Its 6 seconds. Regardless if your duration is at 200% or 13%.
Feel free to use duration as a dump stat for frames it works on.
Also nicely cuts up corpses into pieces for Nekros desecrate.
As a Helminth ability, it is worth noting it is line of sight. So even with a lots of strength it only hits what is in front of you AND also not standing behind anything. It is a shame because it is slash based and I was interested in using it on other frames for DoT bleed effects.
No it isn't. There are some surfaces that aren't penetrable (for example, Grineer doors), but it works most of the time
It is line of sight bro, it was designed to work in tandem with Dante's 4,
Replace Rhino's 1 with this and then build for a lot of Strength+Range and some Duration. Destroys pretty much everything in Steel Path.

Does nourish apply viral damage too to dark verse?
Well it's a fair question to ask for clarification since we also got abilities like Whipclaw and Landslide that inherit weapon stat sticks.

Dark verse isn't there though, i think the list has to be updated
The general rule of thumb for abilities that apply nourish is that they are either true exalted weapons or pseudo-exalted such as Khora's whip, or they are abilities that work almost like a gun, such as ember 1 or styanax 1. Big aoe nukes and such will not usually benefit.
