Notes[]
- Equipping this mod will set weapon's Fire Rate to its default ignoring other bonuses, even negative effects, (e.g.
Critical Deceleration,
Tainted Shell), making it particularly well-suited to shotgun critical builds.
- Weapons with an Incarnon mode must have Semi-Auto trigger type for both firing modes in order to equip this mod.
Strun Incarnon Genesis is currently the only Incarnon weapon capable of equipping this mod.
- For a full list of shotgun weapons and their trigger types, see Weapon Comparison - Primary Shotguns.
Patch History[]
Hotfix 36.0.3 (2024-06-20)

- Known issue: We will fix the inability to equip this Mod onto the Steflos in a future Hotfix.
Update 36.0 (2024-06-18)

Not a crit weapon so it always has room for Dmg mods. It ignores the "fire rate" entirely unless you mod Magazine, can accelerate rate of fire with reload mods regardless of the spirit of this mod.
Silly question but does anyone know if conditional fire rate mods like Repeater Clip no longer function while this mod is equipped?
From what I can tell, if this mod is equipped it blocks any mods, buffs, and other effects from adjusting the weapon's base fire rate.
Works really good with Critical Deacceleration because it doesn't lower the firerate. Arca Plasmor works well with this.
*Deceleration
What gave it away?
In the absence of Primed Blunderbuss that "downside" looks more like an upside to me, honestly. Most shotguns are limited more by reload speed than by firerate.
THEY DIDNT LOWER THE AMOUNT FOR SHOTGUNS!?! My god this mod might just be the most SILLY powerful one they added in a while, at least on the few guns that can benefit from it
Primed point blank is like, 165% damage, thats a big difference
It's damage + punch through all in one. Saves a slot for something else.
Also since the mod handles base damage you can switch out for something like shotgun vendetta that gives multishot and reload.
SigmaGuardianSoul is correct. Now I want a variant for single-target guns with different trigger types. They'd benefit HUGELY from this.
When would you want to use this, ever? Even if there was no downside, there isn't really any shortage of base damage...
Bruh i put this on the tenet arca plasmor and its hitting like a truck
You could do some interesting things with -AS rivens and critical delay while soloing I guess....
But in squads the fixed AS is pretty much a dealbreaker.
It's basically a better punchthrough mod. Most semi-auto shotguns worth using has some kind of AoE so the fire rate isn't really a downside as long as the gun hit hard enough.
Steflos has potential
