Aya is an in-game currency which can be used to purchase Void Relics and some cosmetics from Varzia's Prime Resurgence in Maroo's Bazaar. It can be earned through opening Relic Packs, missions in the Void, and bounties.

Usage[]
Aya can be used to purchase the following Void Relics and other items from Varzia in Maroo's Bazaar.

Trivia[]
- Starting on November 16th, 2021 2 p.m. ET, Aya could be used to purchase Void Relics of vaulted items from Varzia in Maroo's Bazaar.
- After January 25th, 2022 at 2 p.m. ET, Aya was made unavailable to be earned. However, Varzia still resides in Maroo's Bazaar for players to spend any unused Aya.
- Starting on September 14th, 2022, Aya returned once again, this time permanently.

Hotfix 35.0.10 (2024-01-18)
- Fixed the amount of Aya owned not updating in the Syndicate “Next Title” popup after using it for Rank 4/5 Pledge Sacrifices.
Hotfix 35.0.9 (2024-01-17)
- Syndicate Sacrifice Change:
Starting with this Vaulting, all Rank 4 and 5 Pledged Syndicate Sacrifices have been replaced with Aya:
- Rank 4 = 2 Aya
- Rank 5 = 3 Aya
This change reduces the amount of time spent acquiring and crafting specific Prime parts to rank up in a Syndicate, and offers players additional uses for their Aya. Since Aya drops from many sources, reaching those higher ranks is now much more accessible as it is no longer wholly tied to Relic RNG.
Hotfix 32.0.3 (2022-09-14)
- Reintroduced Prime Resurgence along with Aya.
- Added the ability to trade 1x Aya for 5x Void Traces.
- Similar to the 5x Ducats available at Varzia, you can now use your Aya to purchase 5x Void Traces.
- Aya drop Changes:
- Added Aya in Zariman Bounties.
- After Prime Resurgence concluded, Zariman Bounties were introduced that included some Vaulted Relic drops. We have updated the drop tables to swap the Vaulted Relic drops with Aya in Zariman Bounties!
- Rebalanced Aya drop chance in Stage 2 & Final Stage in Level 25-30 Cambion Drift Bounties.
- Added Aya in Zariman Bounties.
Hotfix 31.0.11 (2022-01-25)
- Prime Resurgence has concluded!
Regal Aya is no longer purchasable from Varzia and 
Aya has been removed from the drop tables and replaced with 
Nyx Prime and 
Rhino Prime Relics.
Varzia still resides in Maroo's Bazaar with a selection of wares. If you choose, any remaining Aya/ Regal Aya can be used in Varzia’s post-event shop or can be held onto for potential future Prime Vault efforts. While the future of Prime Resurgence is still being determined, priority in any instance will be to provide options that appropriately meets player expectations for premium purchases.

- Moved the Ghoul Bounty Aya drop to the Final phase as opposed to being in a majority of the Phases. As indicated here.
- Fixed Aya dropped in Open Zone Bounties having stretched icon images.

Warframe players will literally complain about an objectively positive change. Aya makes relic farming easier.
People are really complaining about this? I'm a returning player that came back from a year long hiatus and I think this is a massive improvement since you have more control over what you want and it makes vaulted primes easier to obtain as opposed to going on trade for possibly a ludicrous amount
You’re not relic farming. It’s replaced with Aya farming. Instead of a random relic chance, you use aya to pick which relic you want
For the relics in the resurgence, not for the ones outside of it. you still need to farm for relics in star chart.

I am seeing people in trade chat offering Aya but it is not tradable to begin with.
Are these people scammers or just dumb not knowing you can't trade Aya.
They buy things that can be bought with aya specifically relics , so people just put Aya in trade so when you contact them theyll just ask what they need from the aya shop and proceed from there

In addition to what the other guy said, getting Aya means possibly getting vaulted stuff, or even just relics, that can be sold for plat, which would cover the cost of buying Gyre off the market, fully built, with a reactor shoved up her skirt for good measure, and a slot to go with it all.
A deal like that would give even Darvo a stiffy.
Aya is objectively better because it gives you autonomy in what you wanted, rather than be given the same thing on parade, while you wonder when the game will give you what you actually spent two days farming for.
Tip! Don't buy void traces with aya
Yes, even with 1:50 exchange rate it would be bad.
Just buy a relic and open it. You get traces ( 10 traces on average ) and a part/blueprint. And then you can sell the part/bp for ducats...

So, was using my Steel Essence at Teshin and was trading for Relics and I got an Aya insteaad of a relic. I guess this isn't mentioned anywhere else?

I've been farming this at Ukko (Void, capture mission), with titania prime I got from prime gaming from the tennocon, because I'm a new player and I'm not able to do the best bounties to farm it since I'm low level. Highly recommend it for players in such situation, 8% chance for run, and you can complete the mission in 1 minute or less.

In conclusion the "garbage aya" your complaining of can be exchanged for a SPECIFIC prime resurgence relic of your choice. heck you could stock pile it for a release you especially love or think will sell well as relics or parts.

The fuck? you can literally earn Ayas from in game, in order to get relics faster to then farm for primes easier than before...
If Regal Aya is what ur talking about, then it's literally the same thing with Prime Vault, there's literally no difference in terms of price. And you can't really call them out of that cuz Prime Vault bundles have been a thing for YEARS.
Aya drops like candy from cetus T5 bounties , lots of people are running them its easy to get a group going
And i got wukong prime within 15ish relics which is more than ok RNG wise

The void relics listed that's purchaseable with Aya is wrong. It's equinox and wukong prime relics, not volt and valkyr
