Blueprints Requiring Alloy Plate[]
Market[]
Beginning in Update 9.0 (2013-07-13) materials could be purchased directly from the market for Platinum.
Gathering Tips[]
These are based on opinions and may not be true. These should be viewed as advice for finding the materials until better facts are proven.
- Defense missions are good places to gather materials. While it is unknown whether defense missions have higher drop rates, they do spawn more enemies on average, making the chances for anything to drop higher.
- A high ranked
Thief's Wit mod can assist in finding materials and marking them for your teammates after you've picked them up.
- Survival missions are good places to gather materials as well:
- Gabii on Ceres (Level 15-25) can drop around 1k Alloy Plates every 15 minutes with a Resource Booster. Enemies there may also drop alloy plates.
- Overall, any Endless Missions provides a good opportunity to gather Alloy Plates in large numbers, particularly in Corpus territories where the possibility of gathering Oxium is also present.
- A prime source of Alloy Plates would be Zariman Ten Zero bounties, particularly on endless missions such as Oro Works (Void Armageddon), Everview Arc (Void Flood), and Tuvul Commons (Void Cascade). However, it is also advisable to search the area after you've completed your mission, particularly when there are timed mission types such as in The Greenway (Mobile Defense) and Halako Perimeter (Exterminate).
Trivia[]
- The Grineer letters
on the Alloy Plate translate to "armor".
- Before Update 8.0 (2013-05-23), it was more rare (used to drop in stacks no greater than 25).
- Hotfix 18.4.3 (2016-01-27) replaced Alloy Plate Void drops with Ferrite.
- Alloy Armor is normally used by Heavy and Elite Grineer units, such as Elite Lancers, Napalms, Bombards and all bosses.
Patch History[]
Update 9.0 (2013-07-13)
- Increased the drop rate for Alloy Plate.
Update 8.0 (2013-05-23)
- Alloy Plate Drop Rates have increased and been added as a resource to Pluto

20 min run on Cares - Gabii (no resource boosters and all crates) yielded me 3.1k Alloys
Pro Tip, use Khora's "Pilfering Strangledome" Mod with a resource booster blessing in a relay, no booster after 20 minutes on SP got me 13k
Wait so not everyone has like multiple hundreds of thousands of these as leftovers ?
does this resource even exist?? spend three weeks farming jupiter IO and NONE drop!
120k for kavat madness
Fact
Isnt it 60k?
Ceres - Gabii + resource drop chance booster
20 min : +8000. Nice one
2nd: 35 min + 8000 (solo, w\o crates)
3rd : 32 min + 8200 (solo, w\o crates)
4th: 25 min + 9700 (opened all crates on the map, 2/4 ppl party)
5th: 25 min + 11300 (opened all crates on the map ,3/4 ppl party)
6th : 32 min + 13800 (opened all crates on map, 3/4 ppl party)
Nekros is better 5 min +6000
There is no info in the drop table for enemies, come on.
This resource drops are dependent on the planet/region you are playing on. So while the wiki can list that it can drop from Grineer Elite Lancers (and all 50+ Grineer/Corpus/Infested/Corrupted units honestly), you have to specify what planet/region you have to encounter them on too. An Elite Lancer in say an invasion mission on Europa will never drop Alloy Plates while an Elite Lancer on Ceres can. In other words, these type of "Region Resources" aren't locked to a specific enemy's drop table and their drops are dependent on the planet/region you are playing in.
I'm not sure how to communicate this point better on these type of resource articles and I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for in terms of information.
https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Thermia_Fractures apparently is a good event to farm. 40 minutes with resource booster and I got 31k.
Sedna is not recommended even though alloyplay is classifed as common in there. Ceres is better.
I actually wouldn't recommend defense missions for farming it. In my experience, at least if you don't have any effects that increase the amount of loot dropped by enemies, most of your alloy plates are going to come from loot caches, lockers etc.
If you don't have anything to increase your amount of enemy drops, I'd probably recommend Pallas, since it's quick, doesn't have any bonus objectives or fail conditions to worry about (it's just elimination) and can drop a lot.
My best run there has yielded over 3k, my worst still almost half of that.
If you have enemy drop enhancing stuff, I reckon survival is actually going to be better than defense, because you fight more enemies and don't have to wait inbetween waves.
I've actually tried some defense and even the Dark Sector missions that have a bonus ressource dropchance got anywhere near as many as just repeating Pallas ad nauseam. I've heard some people claim that Exta is also really good, so I guess if you can kill Lech Kril quickly enough, that would also be efficient.
Thanks!
Also, make sure you have the Resource Drop Chance Blessing , just ask politely in the chat of Earth Relay.
Gabii's pretty solid. Khora, Smeeta, Nekros and a resource booster got me around 50k in 45 minutes. Steel Path should give way more.
Ceres - Pallas 1.600-3.100 Alloy Plates for each round in 4-6min without any booster. Playing Loot-Limbo +range (to kill enemies and chests with ability 4) +effi (to spam ability 4) +strength (to kill the enemies with the 4) -duration (you dont need it)
Ceres / Draco şu aşamada keşfettiğim en iyi kaynak yeri... Kaynak Arttırıcı ile birlikte 15 dakika 10 k toplayabildim. Her yeri dağıtın.
150k for making Kavat incubation segment is crazy, and I need a real place to farm these, not 2k, 6k in 20 min per run
Y me to i only have 30k :/
For evryone whos farming a kavat incubation segment i just wanna tell them good luck also take a breaks if you've been farming for the alloy plates for an hour
I'm at 74k/120k
Ishtar seems to be a good farming place, with a lot of Alloy and you can drop more on the 2nd cache in the map.
The best place to farm is exta ceres, while you farm for orokin cells you break lots of alloy plate caches and net arund 2k every 5min, try it out and let me know :)
got 4k with a resource booster, seems legit
Got up to 8k in there with a resource booster my gf averaged 3-4k without it me 5-6k per run, underrated place
One of the most overpriced item in the market lmao
Please bring back the PNG images!
wiki and DE json only uses png filetype
Confirming DRACO on CERES (Survival) is the best easiest farm for alloy plate 8k in 20 minutes, so 4k per 10minutes.
Thank you good sir you are the first cool kid on this site
Draco has been removed
Alloy plate can still be obtained from Ceres. Just got a little under 4k of it from Draco in about 20 minutes.
People struggle to get those, and i struggle to get rid of them
;_;
Join a clan. Dump extras into the clan vault.
Kavat Incubator upgrades. Nothing else said but to trade them to other needy people needing a space cat.
Rofl i need 120k of those xd
