Venom Dose is a Warframe Augment Mod for Saryn that allows
Spores to be held on cast, creating a wave of energy traveling outward from the user that temporarily grants the caster and nearby allies additional

Acquisition[]
- This mod can be acquired by attaining the rank of General under Steel Meridian, or the rank of Exalted under the Red Veil, and spending
25,000 to purchase.
- This mod can periodically be acquired from The Circuit.
Notes[]
- Damage bonus is affected by Ability Strength.
- Duration is affected by Ability Duration.
- Range is affected by Ability Range.
- Cannot be equipped at the same time as
Revealing Spores.
- Adds
Corrosive damage to the weapon (excluding exalted weapon) , added alongside IPS and elemental mods.

Impact per bullet, the mod Infected Clip at max rank, and the buff from Venom Dose at max rank with 110 strength, the damage will be: 100

- Multiple casts of Venom Dose do not stack; the buff with the highest Ability Strength will take effect.
- However if a weaker one with more Ability Duration is cast, it will take effect after the stronger buff expires.

Venom Dose and Toxic Lash literally belong the the same frame.
You'd be stupid not to activate Toxic Lash and Spores when using this.

The combination of Venom Dose and Toxic Lash is a very potent concoction of death since they are standalone damage boost and won't combine with other elemental damages. Even more so if you have Toxin or Heat based Kuva Nukor. Armor strip from Heat + Corrosive leaves the enemy with only 10% armor, add 325% Damage boost from Viral and DoTs from Heat and Toxin. Not to mention the synergy this mod has with a status based melee equipped with Condition Overload. A very painful combo indeed.
It adds damage yes, but severely gimps your heat proc weight meaning you will have much fewer heat procs and less damage as a result
I've found that the combination of Toxic Lash + Venom Dose (+Roar and Spores) results in so much damage that it heat proc chance really doesn't matter at all anymore. Especially when using melee.
Not all builds benefit from heat inherit even though it can be amazingly strong at times.
This is an amazing mod and all for corrosive being armor stripping, however I will list some points for why this mod is really strong other than that. 1. Gas procs apply radial toxin procs which scale off of toxin damage mods and corrosive is generally the better option against grineer. 2. Corrosive status stripping armor pairs very well with gas damage. 3. This augment goes good with gas damage for that reason, but also because the mod gives half electric damage and half TOXIN (which scales with your gas procs. 4. The corrosive element pairs with the gas element and if you make them both have the same amounts at say 180%, it will equally proc corrosive and gas with the gas taking the benefit damage of corrosive having half toxin, and having the same chance to proc as corrosive. Conclusion: This combo makes for a lot of corrosive procs to strip armor and equal amounts of extra damage gas procs from the half toxin bonus of the augment.
This augment, directly without saying it, increases damage by 50% on gas status.
tried that in the simulacrum and it didnt work
without the buff from this augment the dot was 478, and with it it still was 478
nothing special about this augment combined with gas as far as i can see
to the lone tenno commenting above me. They did a status rework after the OP, gas doesn't even do toxin damage anymore, it now does gas damage, based on gas damage.
Is the damage additive or multiplicative?

When it says Venom Dose applies to attacks it seems to only mean weapons. Couldn't find any abilities directly effected, only abilities that are treated as weapons like Peacemaker, or abilities like Whipclaw because the damage is applied through Khora's melee weapon mods.
Previously some of these mods would effect abilities but those instances seem to have been removed.
This augment + Saryn's Toxic lash + melee with high status + condition overload is the bane of every grineer.
Correction, it is the bane of everything in existence.
Mod for Viral+Radiation, receive bonus toxic + corrosive from the buffs. You're pretty much covered to destroy most enemies. There will be a few exceptions here or there but with the new changes to base damage numbers on melee the boosts to damage with this combo are through the roof.
With my setup I can sweep through 8 corrupted heavy gunner (level 160) in about 1.5s with 0 combo multiplier.
Without the buffs it takes 5-10s

No seriously what were they thinking. I tested this with a Mara Detron with one mod (Thermagnetic Shells) paired with Toxic Lash against 165 corrupted bombards.
Took 2 clips shooting one and FOR WHATEVER REASON the toxin procs scale with Thermagnetics and kills the 7 other bombards

Only affects weapons, Saryn's 1 and 4 is not affected after testing. Might not be as broken as people might suggest.
you could get 150-200%+ weapon damage for everyone in your squad if you want. its much nicer to use now. i play saryn so i can do aoe with spores though. its a tough choice but i might use this vs lvl 60+ enemies.
Quite sure it affects other abilities though. I tested Oberons Smite Infusion and it does in fact boost the damage of his 4.
Someone with friends and more time than me should be a comprehensive list of abilities affected :p
Smite Infusion doesn't affect any of Oberon's abilities.
I got +267% weapon damage with this mod, + another 80% with toxic lash... I'm only at 267% ability strength (182% duration, 45% efficiency, 100% range).

I'd imagine being able to add Corrosive (and so much of it at that) to any elemental combo, or even just bumping up pre-existing Corrosive values to massively drown out unwanted Puncture and Impact proccs, now make this worth equipping?
yes it is good. putting viral on weap now as corrosive + toxin from her 1 and 3 . pretty decent damage
This article needs to be a bit more specific than it is. It should be noted venom dose once cast upon all three squad members, is really easy to reset without ever having to do so again. You just need to cast it on another ally before the duration runs out and it resets the duration for the entire squad. You can even cast it on the defense operative or a teammates kavat and it will reset. This is a really overlooked mod.
Updating my post, you can also target an excavator, and it will reapply venom dose to the whole team. Also note, you have to enter and exit operator mode to see that the proc has been reapplied to everyone. If you recast on an actual squad mate, it shows their timer reset. Void dashing will show it has refreshed on all squad mates. If you cast on an excavator or kavat like mentioned before, it will not show that the proc has refreshed on any teammates until you enter and exit operator

can you use this mod together with other mods like "Shock Trooper" or "Fireball Frenzy" to have a Corrosive or Gas DMG? Also, if you cast this on a nuke trin castanas build, will it kills the shit out of that trinity?
