Greedy creatures born from The Indifference, these little Murmur tricksters love to steal Conduit Dockets and other coveted items from Albrecht's Laboratory.
In any other Deimos/Albrecht’s Laboratory missions (including Netracells), these avaricious beings contain within them one of the following:
- 1x Common Entrati Melee Arcane:
- Melee Exposure
- Netracell Drop Table Changes
In the same vein as the above change to make Archon Shards more accessible, we’ve made the following changes to the Netracell Drop Tables.
1. Removed all non-Legendary Arcanes (as listed below)

- Similarly to Arcane Power Ramp, the Arcane requires an ability be cast (Energy consumed) in order to trigger the Corrosive Damage buff on Melee strikes.

Rn operator abillities like void strike, wellspring, void sling etc do NOT trigger this arcane.
Forum posts from feb 2024 mention this and still no fix. So was this never intended?
I was just testing this, for research purposes: praedos built with corrosive slash + melee exposure does incredible amounts of damage
Sure, this arcane does free 2 slots from your build mods, but you still need the damage and status. Incredible useful arcane, even using the old slash + viral will boost your damge to millions
does this apply an instance of damage to your melee weapon like a mod, which would then be applied to elemental sandstorm every time you used it?
Little late but I just tested it out from my own curiosity & it does apply to Sandstorm with the Elemental Sandstorm augment on, yes.
Exceptionally powerful on Kullervo. He relies a lot on constant use of his 1 and 2, so this can be active almost all the time, further powering his 1.
Same with Voruna
Does it act like a mod and auto combine with shock or toxin already on the weapon or can you still benefit from the base element
It does not combine with Shock or Toxin, so you can proc both the base element and Corrosive.
2/2/2024 Exposure does not seem to be proccing. The buff does appear, but when triggered it does not allow weapon to apply corrosive status at all within the duration. At least, for my Ack & Brunt Incarnon in both forms.

I see plenty of corrosive on my Nikana and it's modded with viral only.
Works better than +350% damage from Melee Retaliation and better than Melee Influence, that arcane is actually not as good since you better be doing dmg with your melee and use something else for status priming.

Curious if this works with Fatal Teleport's 100% finisher chance; finishes count as "melee strikes" yeah? Been unable to 1hit untouched eximus at higher SP with my Rakta Dark Dagger maybe this could be the solution

I have tested with Excal and it doesn't work I'm afraid. I would be happy to be proven otherwise though, since I'm an Excal main. I tested in Simulacrum

So it says 60% corrosive damage to melee weapons. Does this mean its :
A - 60% corrosive damaged added to your weapon as a mod that will rely on the status chance the melee weapon has
Or
B - It is a guaranteed status proc with 60% corrosive damage from the melee weapons
Or
C - Some other way it works that I am not aware of?
I believe is both, since corrosive will override all other status at max stacks... works amazing with condition overload
Except part that it also skews status proc from DPS like slash and heat to corrosion for too big of an %, sadly.
Heavy damage boost, but penalty is also quite severe.

Melee Retaliation is better IMO. This messes with proc weights. I find it harder to proc viral for example. If you run Melee Exposure, you better be running 2 Green Archon shards as well.
Melee retaliation, really? do you think everyone is a hildryn main?
I use Melee Retaliation with Styanax and its a beast. Don't have to be a hildryn.
Any frame with Redirection or a shield related subsume and not using Catalyzing Shields will get okay to good results with Arcane Retaliation. 2~4 stacks of Bonus melee damage ain't bad. Pillage builds for example will get plenty of stacks.
The 240% damage is really high but if you're already using 2~3 90% element mods, it's already in diminishing returns. However if you're using too few element mods you'll only proc corrosive which isn't ideal. At least retaliation only has Pressure Point (Primed or Sacrificial) and Spoiled Strike to compete with. It kinda balances out depending on your build and which damage you have less investment in already.
Small hint, it does affect Dual Ichor Incarnon form toxic clouds. SIGNIFICANTLY.
Hands down the best melee arcane as of today, yes corrosive will surpass every other proc at max stack, but the damage is amazing.... and corrosive is actually good type damage against high level enemies
Anyone tested if the damage gets added to Atlas Landslide?
It does.
Here's a nice thing. The Duration is 25 seconds regardless of rank. As long as you are using it every 25 seconds, even at rank 0, you will gain XX% Corrosive Damage every time you use the ability and eventually build to the cap of 240% and keep it there.
Just get 1, slap it on your melee weapon, and punch your way to bliss.
That's hilarious. for a 1 Punch Atlas, even an R0 will hit the cap and stay there.
This can also be obtained by simply purchasing it from the Cavia Syndicate member Bird 3 from rank 4 onwards. It can also drop from killing the "book" phase 2, that you can find in the laboratories.
Does this synergize with ash bladestorm?
It does not activate with blade storm if that’s what you’re asking.
At the end of the 25s duration, you lose the entire stack.
