Crucible reactor overload, containment breach imminent. Erect industrial pylons of radioactive blight to cement our
Tenno presence in the nuclear warzone, then eradicate all hostile forces entrenched by collapsed concrete. Disintegrate the irradiated lifeforms via concentrated emission from the Brutalist Golem, Qorvex. Perfect this unstable machine of Master
Entrati's design, in defense against unspeakable eldritch horrors festering from his labyrinthine laboratories below...
Qorvex was reconstructed in Update 35.0 (2023-12-13): Whispers in the Walls.
Acquisition
Qorvex's main blueprint is acquired upon completion of Whispers in the Walls quest. His component blueprints are acquired from Sanctum Anatomica Bounties as an uncommon drop.

Lore
Qorvex is a hulking mass of concrete arranged around a radioactive Crucible Core. Designed and created by Albrecht Entrati himself, he serves as a bulwark against the terrifying and eldritch forces that now invade his labs. Qorvex now serves as a new guardian to the Tenno.
Notes
- Qorvex's signature
Mandonel can empower
Chyrinka Pillar with fully charged shots. - Qorvex has the highest base Armor of all Warframes at 875, surpassing
Valkyr Prime's 735.
Trivia
- Qorvex is the 55th unique Warframe to be released.
- Qorvex was first mentioned in Devstream 174 during the upcoming features checklist showcase for Whispers in the Walls. His in-game model, abilities, alt helmet, and signature archgun were revealed in Devstream 175.
- Qorvex is the first Warframe whose name begins with the letter "Q". As of his announcement, the only letter remaining with a related Warframe, is 'U'.
- The name Qorvex could be a portmanteau of the words core and vex. In nuclear engineering, core is a term for "the inner part of a nuclear reactor where nuclear reactions takes place", which refers to Qorvex's Crucible Core contained by his innumerable concrete plating. Vex is a verb for "to annoy or irritate" or "to cause mental distress", which implies the confusion afflicting his foes by the

- Concrete is often used in the containment of radioactive material due to it being dense enough to absorb most forms of ionizing radiation, and cheap enough to be used in vast quantities. The penetrating nature of radiation is alluded to in Qorvex's Passive granting additional Punch Through to any of his guns. This may also be a reference to the use of depleted uranium in the manufacture of armor-piercing rounds.
- Some of Qorvex' abilities give of the signature clicking sound of a Geiger counter, an instrument used for detection ionizing radiation.
Chyrinka Pillar is derived from Cherenkov radiation, a form of energy emitted when the charged particles moving at speeds faster than that of light in a specific medium.
Disometric Guard is derived from dosimetry, the measurement and study of ionizing radiation as absorbed by the human body.- A week prior to Devstream 175, Creative Director Rebecca Ford and Warframe's official Twitter teased Qorvex's descriptive appearance and his official default colors, encouraging players to guess and draw his look.[1][2]
- The development process on Qorvex spanned across 2023 according to Rebecca and Pablo. His brutalist concrete appearance drew heavy inspiration from the stone-like Murmur faction also introduced with him, and required several iterations from artist Mike "Mynki" Brennan.
- Qorvex's concrete armor plating are separate slabs that pulsate in a breathing-like pattern during his idle Animation Sets. This animation affects various body parts, such as his helmet, chest, shoulders and arms, codpiece, thighs and legs.
- When Qorvex was first announced, his passive was originally going to grant bonus
Radiation damage to all weapons he has equipped.
- He is the ninth Warframe after
Limbo,
Hildryn,
Wisp,
Titania Prime,
Protea,
Xaku and
Sevagoth, and
Gyre with a unique dodge roll animation, where Qorvex slides in a bashing posture as the sound of moving stone plays.
- Similar to
Styanax's armor clanking footsteps, Qorvex's footsteps emit stone friction noise.
- Similar to
- Qorvex's physical design and idle animations appear to be modeled after gorillas.

Extra Trivia :
When Grimoire is fired near Pillars, they send some light to the book. Also happens with his 4 (i didn't see anything for other weapons)
He has a geiger counter sfx on his 3 and 4(?).
Both his 2 AND 4 can empower the pillars.
Also , I LOVE MY NUCLEAR BABY!
Randomly now his 4 beam simply won't appear now, and only in specific directions. I'm calling it now, qorvex is gonna be bugged like this for at least two years lol.
Yeah, cement man will suffer Yareli's treatment with placebo thingies.
It's so strange that this massive concrete cement mixer doesn't have an innate form of damage reduction built into his kit. His 3rd ability should've granted damage reduction based on the amount of stacks you have, like Nova's Null Star imo.
Either way. CONCRETE GORILLA.
His high base armor is innate form of damage reduction, he just lacks health regen
He already has a high amounts of armor. Just slap adaptation on him and the Umbrals mods and you're golden. What he REALLY needs is some overguard or complete immunity to debuffs, in order "to protect the chosen Operator from the hazards (keyglyphs) of his (Albrecht's) laboratory"
The bookworm being the better choice for surviving DA/EDA and Netracells, than the thing that was made to specifically do that is hilarious lmao
S Tier endgame power with the new augment. Permanent status immunity, grouping, damage vulnerability, nuking, amazing tank and now armor strip. If you like the vibe he can do any content and without trying. Pretty casual ability rotation. I already liked him a lot and was considering dumping his 1 or 3 for armor strip but now I don't have to.
His passive is particularly amazing with a lot of shotguns/big damage rifles with the new blast status. You do want to avoid some aoe weapons like the acceltra as the punch through on those end up pushing the explosions past your target. But keeping that in mind, I am a big fan of the exergis modded for blast/electric. Press 2, pull the trigger and watch the numbers explode.
I used to think his passive was lame, but after realizing it affects melee weapons as well (and quite possibly anything else) I now think it's great.
Friendly Qorvex's can charge each other's Chyrinka Pillars, not sure if the friendly pillars receive the 2's augment duration reset though.
Im pretty sure they already could with their Laser iirc, being a heavy Qorvex user (granted not many of us around to double check)
Bricc
Poor Valkyr.
I can't believe the devs dedicated a whole frame to eastern europeans.
Put all 3 Umbra Mods, other 3 Power mods, 3 armor+health mods. Result is a 4000 armor, 2500 health Qorvex whose 4th power hits for 1 million (debuff enemies with 2 and replace 3 with Empower for buff). This probably has the "strongest power" out of all warframes, and also never dies.
Bro if this frame didn't require line of sight on his 1 skill, it MIGHT have been somewhat usable.
But of course DE can't allow you to have fun. Everything needs to have LOS. Except saryn for some reason.
Banshee in 2k24 lol
Banshee, Ember, Mag, Gara, Frost, Equinox, Gauss, Jade, Nezha, Limbo, Nova, Oberon, Nyx, Octavia, Rhino, Saryn, Vauban, Volt don't need LoS.
I may have missed a few.
Uhh Ember's four needs LoS.
Can anybody tell what color scheme on default Qorvex??? Especially energy)
I mean what a palette
Looks like they fixed the Disometric guard losing a stack every 5 seconds bug again
Fuckin.... brutalist lookin mf
Worst warframe in the game right now - become dead 1 day after release...
Caliban exists
Nah Caliban like ten times better then this pile of trash man
Build for high strengh with decent efficiency and add armor strip - you can deal fun big booms and everyone die.
Tell me you haven't actually used Qorvex without telling me you haven't actually used Qorvex
This frame is literally "don't die, the frame", even more so than Inaros. Go triple umbral, subsume over the 1 and dump duration, cast 2 to do lines of grineer whenever you want, coupled with 4 for decent clear, and couple your 3 with something like the kuva nukor (or anything that deals radiation damage) to always be immune to statuses. Add Adaptation for even more defense. I brought this frame into EDA and was able to facetank the Fragmented one.
But of course people say this frame is trash because it can't brainlessly nuke ESO in a single click. Cry some more.
Not entirely convinced this guy is any good but his abilities look cool as hell
It's me again... this guy is good. All you need is vicious bond.
Haha, well I don't think him being good or not is tied to a companion mod
Any frame with bonds can outperform this stone shit man
Weirdly unimpactful abilities for a concrete nuke man. 4 is cool tho
Are you running around un-modded or with all 4 Dragon Keys on? Qorvex hits like the Elephant's Foot on a stick
This frame gives me the uncanny vibes of Irradiated Short film from youtube
Does anyone else get a bug with his 4 where his beam seems to not shoot out after a second or two? It seems to only happen in the Entrati labs.
It has fixed duration, you can't mod it to last any longer
3rd ability got a bug. It is decaying over time and knocks you off the k-drive.
Same here
+1, decays over time
Yep throws me off k-drive
Not just his 3, it seems to be the frame itself/ the ability slot. Subsumed Hideous Resistance over it, also decays for no reason. Best you can do is mention it on the forums
His passive ability and armor are great
It doesn't just tested it. But his signature Mandonel has a base punch through of 2.4m + 1m from the charged field thingy.
