The Voidplume Pinion is a resource that is dropped from defeated Dormant Void Angels, found in the Zariman tileset. They can be exchanged for 
5,000 standing with The Holdfasts. 5x Voidplume Pinions are required to advance to the Rank 5 - Angel with The Holdfasts, and is an important crafting material for Incarnon weapons.
Acquisition[]
- Void Angels found in a dormant state in any Zariman Ten Zero mission are guaranteed to drop a Voidplume Pinion upon death as an interactable pickup. Each mission always has one dormant Void Angel, appearing in large rooms of the tileset.
- Every 8 hours, one Voidplume Pinion can be purchased from Archimedean Yonta using resources found on the Zariman.

Voidplumes can now be earned from Archimedean Yonta by trading in resources found throughout the Zariman! Voidplumes rotate every 8 hours, a Time Left to Trade timer is available to indicate the next upcoming rotation.
Hotfix 31.5.4 (2022-05-02)
- Fixed Nekros’ Desecrate and Hydroid’s Pilfering Swarm being able to duplicate Voidplume Pinion and Arcane drops from Void Manifestation fights.
- Restored these to match Khora’s Pilfering Strangledome and Atlas’ Ore Gaze Augment mods intentionally not applying their loot bonuses on Void Manifestations.

Finished the pinion farm and gotten all the bps, my thoughts are its not as bad as ppl in the comments make it out to be. I waited until I had it as the highest bounty + SP + Exterminate and awakened angels. I spammed this bounty mission type until the bounty timer ran out and rotated. I did this for any day I dropped in to see that it was the highest bounty and preferred mission type. Missing on the wiki however, is that you can exchange void pinions for trophies at Archaemedian Yonta. While its not exactly a BP requiring, its another additional 2 pinions for the trophies.
Do NOT do the bounty that wants you to kill 2 angels. The one where they wake up and start attacking, you defend the A&B points, etc. Those angels do NOT drop pinions, only quills. Do exterminates and such and kill the angels that you have to actually wake up. Those are the ones that drop pinions.
To clarify, it can't be the ones that wake up on their own to attack. It must be the ones you have to actively wake.

Killed non-dormant angels and none of them gave me pinions.
One mission gives like 15 voidplumes of various types and im gated by this of all things.
You obviously weren't killing the angels then. Literally every single one I kill gives me a pinion. Yeah its a pain to do a mission for each one but exterm can be done in like 5 minutes including the angel, just ignore looking for other voidplumes while farming pinions.
Non-dormant? Were you playing Armageddon? Those don't drop pinions my guy, only quills. You need to do any other mission and find the sleeping ones to wake up. Those are what you're after to get Pinions for anyone else coming across this comment.

Got all of them (all Entrati Lathorn also) from ZTZ exterminate. Relaxed and easy solo grind, 20 mins pure meditation per run.
Fastest way to get this is to just kill dormant void angels. Look for a bounty that requires you to kill them and you get a waypoint straight to one. If there is no such bounty, look for a tier 4 or 5 exterminate. You'll have to look for the angel, but they're easy to find and they always spawn.

Lowest tier exterminate with a nuke frame like volt and a weapon to shred the void angel gives consistent 5-6 minute runs
Best way to get these is from yonta every 8 hours if she's doing a trade that doesn't require lanthorns. To farm them, wait for a mobile defence bounty from quinn to awaken a dormant void angel. It gives you a waypoint to the angel, and you can do the mission objective while killing the angel with a remote cc frame like octavia (some cc abilities stop working when you switch to operator, and whatever cc you use has to bypass overguard). Madurai void strike can one-shot the angel with a good amp. Pop void strike, enter the void, kill the angel, refresh your mission cc, dps its second phase, wait until you can use VS again for the second void, then kill it twice. This gives like 12 pinions per hour solo, plus bounty quills for the standing/crafting.
It is so dumb that this is limited to Dormant Void Angels. Would give a reason to play Void Armageddon

Half the time there isn't even any dormant angel Im checking the large rooms thoroughly in exterminate and see nothing before the extract ball shows up.
This, especially when mobile defense/exterminate is in tier 1/2. I can find them every time in tier 3-5, so I don't think they're guaranteed to spawn in lower bounties. Wouldn't be a big deal if the missions switched every hour and 40min, but it's like 4-6 hours before the missions shuffle spots...
Doing Void Arm missions for the angel the spawns after each round is a great way to get mid-tier plumes. And the crap thing is you need at the very least, 35 pinions just to get your laetum to rank 5 since you. Well, I suppose you could build the crappy dagger, but I'd rather just build the tonfa's and have a weapon I'll actually use. So you could get away with only 25 pinions, technically. Even that's a total pain
There is one in every single mission regardless of rank. you are 100% running past them.
^ can back this up. Me and a team took 15 mins to find one, even after scouring the entire map multiple times over. Turned out it had spawned on the very top floor of room, surrounded by the same material, making it very difficult to see. Gotta use your eyes more carefully sometimes lol

Youre going to be doing the missions anyways and theres always one in every mission. youre going to get them regardless because youre going to do way more than 60 missions and as long as someone grabs the pinion everyone gets it. its a non-issue.

Ravenous angels (from Armageddon) drop Quills. Dormant Angels (which you find in the wild) drop Pinions

Still sucks balls... I've been running these for two weeks straight and I've killed maybe 20 angels. That's enough to get to tier 5 syndicate rank and build one weapon... Still need 15 more to build the tonfas just to get the incarnon weapons to rank 5, so I'll be 3-4 weeks deep before getting the materials for 2 weapons and one syndicate rank. I'd pay 500p each for the tonfas or the rifle just so i could get this shitty slog over with
Be aware this does NOT drop from ravenous angels on void armageddon rounds. those only drop quills. You gotta find the dormant ones hanging out in big rooms during other missions.
I recommend only waking them up during endless missions if running with a group. Otherwise take your time on exterminate missions
