The story cutscene can be accessed in Dagath's Hollow at the shrine located near her resting place. The Warframe known as Dagath was originally a Dax cavalrywoman, who served an  Orokin couple named Corphel and Irilia, and was secretly their lover. The couple never used the cavalrywoman's original name, instead calling her by pet names, for names have great power. Among other gifts, the couple gave her a horse, on the one condition that she never named it, for she would love the horse more than the couple. Unable to bear the sadness of not giving it a name, the Dax named the horse after all, giving it the name Rakhali, meaning "freshness-after-rain". As the couple's fears came to pass, they arranged for the horse's 'accidental' death. However, the rider was accidentally mortally injured as well. As she coughed up blood, the couple pleaded with Ballas to allow her to live forever. He complied, and after some time, returned the rider to the couple, now a Warframe of living steel, with a smiling face that would never fade. However, the rider was not the same. Vacant of emotion, she would simply stand idly by, like a nonliving doll, staring at them with her perpetual smile. The couple quickly tired of their lover, and since she was no longer a Dax, their relationship was abandoned. They made a deal with an unknown master of industry, and took the rider to his facility. There, she was secured with restraints, and killed via a disintegration beam to the face, which burned a hole clean through her head. However, the Warframe survived, and clambered out of the facility's trash heap. Still believing herself to be a Dax, the rider sought for her Nikana, but only found the whip-blade of the facility's overseer. She would remember what her masters had done to her, and with a head full of despair and betrayal, the renegade summoned a ghostly Rakhali to her side. Before the following sunrise, she took revenge on Corphel and Irilia, leaving them as faceless as she was. On a lonesome Naberus night, wandering without purpose, she later encountered Grandmother, and as per Naberus tradition, demanded a gift. But the old woman had nothing to give but her name. So the Warframe rode away, now named Dagath, meaning "the mirror that accuses". And Grandmother was then only known as Grandmother. With Dagath's name came her new purpose: she would ride throughout the land, her empty face acting as a mirror to show others their sins – and always ready to deliver the sentence thereafter. Notes When Dagath wields her Signature  Dorrclave, striking an enemy will heal 6 health per active Status Effect. Dagath's horse skull on her right shoulder is an Appearance Right Arm Attachment called Dagath Armor. Trivia Dagath is the 54th unique Warframe to be released. Dagath was first revealed in TennoCon 2023 Art of Warframe panel, showcasing her concept art by Keith Thompson and early in-game model by Mike Skyers. In Devstream 173, Dagath's alt helmet, abilities and her signature  Dorrclave were revealed. In the original concept, she wielded an executioner's axe as her signature weapon. Community Coordinator Megan Everett implied that the axe design was borrowed by the Soulframe art team, as such Dagath now wields a new blade and whip weapon. Themed after the Headless Horseman mythos originating from the Middle Ages, it is depicted as a horse-riding vengeful spirit missing or carrying its severed head. Popularized in American folklore by the 1820 story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and 1999 film adaptation, Sleepy Hollow by Tim Burton, the horseman became a mainstay creature for modern day Halloween. The headless horseman folklore differs between countries such as Ireland, Scotland, and Germany, with Dagath most closely resembling the Irish Dullahan, a male or female spirit wielding a whip made of spines and rides a coach pulled by several horses. An unmodded Dagath at rank 30 will have 666 health. This is a reference to the Devil's number and Dagath's theme of death, along with being similar to  Nekros' 666 shields. On the ceiling of Dagath's Hollow depicts Dagath's helmet wearing a grinning mask, which may have been her original face that the Orokin couple wished to be rid of. She is the first Warframe whose name starts with the letter 'D'. At the time of her announcement, there were 3 remaining letters in the English Alphabet 'J' (which would be later rectified with  Jade), 'Q' (which would later be rectified with  Qorvex), and 'U', that did not have an associated Warframe. She is the first Warframe to possess a Zenurik aura polarity. She is the second Warframe, after  Citrine, that lacks a face due to the hole in her helmet. She is the next female Warframe in line after  Trinity,  Equinox.  Wisp,  Yareli, and  Gyre to wear a skirt or dress with cloth physics. In theme with Halloween, Dagath's dress is textured similar to torn and stitched rags. Similar to  Voruna and her wolf pack, Dagath is adorned with the skeletal remains of her loyal equine companion named Rakhali, which bears resemblance to the Kaithes of Duviri. Rakhali herself adorns distinct Kaithe gear: the Aumen Chamfron, Saddle, and Tail. In the week leading to Abyss of Dagath's release, dark cryptic poems based on individual Warframes ( Caliban,  Garuda,  Nekros,  Harrow,  Revenant,  Valkyr,  Grendel and lastly Dagath) appeared on WARFRAME's X (formerly known as Twitter) account. Each poem described its Warframe and their namesake, ending in inquiry on who named Dagath. References
