Buffs and Debuffs are effects that can positively or negatively affect a target during a mission. Some buffs and debuffs may present an icon right next to the player's health and shields. In-game, blue icons denote buffs and red icons denote debuffs.
Active buffs and debuffs can be viewed in the pause menu.

Update 34.0 (2023-10-18)
- Buffs and Debuffs in Pause Menu
The meme of players giving their squadmates enough buff indicators to look like an MMORPG screen is real and valid. Worry not! We have not changed the buffs you get, we’re simply adding the ability to see what the actual Buff and Debuff Icons mean when entering your Pause Menu:
As you can see in the screenshot above, hovering over the icon will show you the effect’s name and possibly the description. We've done our best to add descriptions for Arcanes, Mods, Decrees, Focus Abilities, and Weapon Abilities in time for this update. As the majority of descriptions are still being added, we ask that any bug reporting is done on incorrect or incomplete descriptions instead of missing ones!

Nourish still listed as Nourished Strike with Toxin instead of Viral
Prismatic Gem from Citrine not listed for the statut chance bonus.
On Ability Strength: " Vazarin's Hardened Wellspring"
Pretty sure Wellspring is Zenurik, not Vazarin.
Fixed, thanks.
Mag's Magnetize also works as an Damage Reflection afaik.
It's absorption.
Thermal Transfer needs some inlcusion
Does Cursed Ground (toxin lich ability) act identically to Hallowed Ground? Both as a buff and debuff
The tabview is broken.
I know there is tabview being broken stuff going on, but this page looks fine to me. Do you mind explaining/showing how its broken.
It's likely just a difference in caching. Regardless, FANDOM has decided to discontinue support for tabview, and unfortunately without much warning. So if anyone sees a broken tabview let us know so we can convert them into a normal tabber if possible.
Regrettably, using tabber over tabview will increase page load time. We used tabview in cases where each tab was transcluding a significant amount of data to help ease load time, but tabber does not do this. It's possible we might jury rig our own tabview for the future, but for now you'll have to bare with this.
PLEAAAAAASE I wanna see the buff/debuff names persistently..... HOW is there no option for that I can't beleive this and I cant beleive ppl see it as a screen clutter if its that way.. just put an option on/off
According to Xata's whisper page the ability doesn't work like an usual elemental augment like Fireball Frenzy, and instead acts more like Toxic lash, adding total damage as a second stance of damage. Therefore instead I think it fits more the "Faction Damage Bonus" section.
Both Protea's Passive and Khora's Accumulating Whipclaw is additive strength, and should be below equinox.
Accumulating Whipclaw doesn't give power strength. Protea's passive does however, added.
....Doesn't it though? at 10% power strength and +500% Melee damage my Whipclaw does 384 damage to a nullifer bubble. with one stack of Whipclaw(+35% PS) my Whipclaw does 1728 Damage to it. Ethier way one of the pages are wrong(the augment page or this one)
You can call that buff additional "Power Strength" instead of damage bonus, but it doesn't apply to any of her other abilities, unlike say Protea's passive. Accumulating Whipclaw is already listed under Damage Bonus before I made the recent edit.
Alright then. I can understand if that's the reason why it's on that particular list, Whipclaw and Covert Lethality(Maybe Seismic Wave too? Might test that torromow) are the only things on the list that scale based on something other then Base Damage though(Btw why is Covert on the list?).
Transference static is wrong, you don't get any damage at all but lose all of your shields
Venom Dose mod in the Elemental Damage Bonus section is listed as granting Corrosive damage, but according to the mod card it should really add Toxin damage.
Edit: reread the Venom Dose mod page. The description is correct - the image of Venom Dose on the page when the words "Venom Dose" are hovered over is wrong.
fixed
Someone add Fosfor buff info (and an icon) please. An icon can be found on https://semlar.com/buffs
Invigorated, Hirudo's passive now has an Ui icon.
Do you have a file I can link it to?
>Multiplicative damage increase is multiplied after certain calculations (like damage mods such as Serration).
I've always thought octavia's amp is additive buff like nerfed chroma's vex, and in fact it is additive, just tested in simulacrum.
Fixed, thanks
whats the Tenno Affinity buff? it happens whenever your near another warframe.
That's not actually a buff. It just means that you are on range to get/give affinity from other tennos(From kills) Some abilities work with that on mind. eg. trin's bless
Please change
To what?
The recent Saryn change turned her spores to corrosive damage and Venom Dose to added corrosive damage as well.
What are the orage/purple rings that sometimes appear under my warframe? Are those buffs/debuffs? It's really hard to search for since everything just turns up stuff related to orange crit.
See this video at about 30 seconds in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIAw-CNovqM
Arson (orange) and Shock (purple) Eximus auras.
Those rings are from nearby Eximus units. Orange means there's a Arson/Caustic unit nearby and will nullify any Heat damage. Blue means there's an Arctic and it will nullify any Cold damage as well as decrease movement speed. Purple means there's Shock, and as you can imagine Electricity damage is nullified plus they can release an Electricity status proc. Finally, green means a Venomous Eximus is nearby and they will nullify any Toxin damage, as well as proc Toxin procs.
Transference Static appears to be bugged. I've never seen it take my shields or health. Most people I play with don't see anything happen either. Probably for the best though right now, since it's all too easy to "die" as the Operator while Eidolon hunting. Those Hydrolyst lightning strikes are ridiculous.
Something I noticed is that this page doesn't include slow affects, such as MP, and things which enemy behaviour such as Octavia's 2 or Titania's 3.
Also, how do I stop following a page.
