Enemies around Enrichment Labs, Spaceport, and Temple of Profit can all drop toroids. If you're farming this way, I recommend bringing boosters. Maybe even with SP enabled if you can handle it. Make sure your alert level is at max.

If you mostly need to build up standing, I'd just spam PT for crisma toroids and Narmer bounties for isoplasts.

Is PT faster than the EO fight?

To this day, I feel Toroid farming is quite miserable. No existing farm is very effective, IMO. Profit Taker is probably the best, but it's not very new player friendly. Farming enemies in certain locations is mind numbingly slow and RNG dependent with awful spawn rates and even worse drop rates.

I like doing exploiter orb, the lazulite toroids it drops are worth 12k standing each, so a couple runs and you max out your daily standing, but I can't remember if you get access to the fight straight away or if you need to do something first

The exploiter orb is nice for standing. The Lazulite toroid is worth 12,000 standing. You'll need thermia to start it so you gotta stock pile it during the thermia fracture event. The exploiter is relatively easy to.

It's probably patched but there is a mission that you kill 3 enemies and a robot with a very short timer. Once you kill the robot, the timer is gone and enemy will spawn. Let them set those teleporter and farm until your eyes melt.

How efficient is that? Also what mission?

Farm Narmer isoplasts. Toroids are a waste of time, unless you farm PT or EO, and that's not for everyone.

My cup of tea was EO, I like that fight and 2 toroids max up the daily cap
