How to get standing with little duck?

I'm asking because I want to build a better amp for eidolon hunting and my 123 amp+ void strike doesn't seem to do much damage

You trade toroids for rep in the same way you trade Sentient Cores on Cetus.

You'll need to trade in toriods for standing. Best places to get this is the profit taker boss fight, though you'll need to do a few missions before you can unlock it (I think by talking to eudico in the backroom).

If you want to get it efficiently then get to rank 5 in fortuna, which will probably make you want to give yourself a vasectomy with a toothpick. But it unlocks your gateway to success, then do profit taker orb.

If you're not doing much damage even with Void Strike, it's probably because you're not critting. Aside from missing out on crit multiplier and the two ways of doubling it (Power Transfer and Volt Shield), Eidolons inherently take less damage from non-crits. See these example clips of non-crits vs crits - the first with Void Strike, the second without: (in both cases the damage is ~17-18x less for non-crits):

To fix this, you just need to put Eternal Onslaught on your amp. Ideally you want a 177 which requires rank 4 with Little Duck, but definitely prioritise the amp arcane.

In the off chance that OP hasn't progressed as far as The Zariman, The Quills also sells some useful amp arcanes. For the 123 amp, Virtuous Strike or Virtuous Shadow would be your best bet for shield-dps. (I personally used Virtuous Strike in my older setups).

If I may ask, how are you utilising your 123 amp exactly? From my personal experience, a 123 amp with Void Strike and/or other +damage instances typically handle well against the eidolons. Granted, it doesn't compare as well to it's latter counterparts, but a 123 is still decent.

Any amp can do decent damage as long as you have both Void Strike and Eternal Arcans from Zariman after the quest (not talking about pro Eidolon hunting, casual hunting). So if you can, try to finish your Angel of Zarimans quest to get those arcanes or maxed eternals seem to be 65p on the market site.

As for little duck standing, there are three sites to farm for Toroids but usually right-bottom corner of the Vallis map gives decent results with less difficulty in farming. Toroids drop from killed enemies so you mindlessly kill everything you see except signal bearers and there should be 4 alert sticks on the ground for best results.
