Jade Shadows
Jade's Promise
After completing Jade Shadows, an assembly of seven of Jade's feathers will appear near Teshin in any Relay, in front of the tombstones.
Notes
- Currently,
Evensong,
Cantare, and
Harmony all lack a Signature Weapon bonus with Jade. - If Stalker, Shadow Stalker, or Protector Stalker appears in the mission via Death Mark and Jade is present, the Stalker will immediately despawn and drop his loot.
Trivia
- Jade is the 57th unique Warframe to be released.
- In the Pax East 2024 live audience Devstream 178, Jade's update teaser splash art was revealed with the Stalker's Landing Craft looming in the background. In Devstream 179, Jade's concept art, theme, signature weapons, and alt helmet were shown. In Devstream 180 her full gameplay reveal was demonstrated by a prerecording from [DE]Pablo.
- Notably, considerable effort was done to hide her pregnancy prior to her introduction to the game: Teaser art either featured her from behind or in one case, with
Harmony obscuring her stomach, while gameplay footage and animations never showed her from up front.

- Jade takes several inspirations from Angels from Abrahamic religions. Most notable in the numerous sets of wings she has and her link to choral music.
- Her dress and the covers wrapped around her chest and her helmet are feather-like protrusions with cloth physics; they stay folded and compact when idle, then expand into angelic wings during Idle Animations and
Glory on High. - Symbols for
Symphony of Mercy's three auras resemble biblical angel's wings in various shapes and forms. - Additionally, Jade is named "Choir" in the game files.

- She is the first Warframe whose name starts with the letter 'J'. At the time of her announcement, there was 1 remaining letter in the English Alphabet 'U', that did not have an associated Warframe.
- She is the next female Warframe in line after
Trinity,
Equinox,
Wisp,
Yareli,
Gyre, and
Dagath to wear a skirt or dress with cloth physics. - Jade is also the name
Nyx originally went by during development. - She is the first Warframe to have two Aura mod slots as her unique passive.
- She is the second Warframe to have three Signature Weapons after
Gara. - She is the third Warframe after
Protea and
Dante with a built-in universal Aura polarity. - She is the third Warframe after
Titania and
Hildryn to use a flight-based fourth ability associated with an Exalted Weapon. - She is the eleventh Warframe after
Limbo,
Hildryn,
Wisp,
Titania Prime,
Protea,
Xaku,
Sevagoth,
Gyre,
Qorvex, and
Dante with a unique dodge roll animation, where Jade dashes with her arms outstretched, or twirls during sidesprings, along with the wings on her torso spreading. - Jade's weapons are parallel to the Stalker's:
Dread vs.
Evensong bow,
Despair vs.
Cantare throwing knives, and
Hate vs.
Harmony scythe. - Jade's component blueprints were accidentally included in Dagath's Hollow in the Clan Dojo upon the initial release of the Jade Shadows update. The blueprints were subsequently removed on Hotfix 36.0.1 (2024-06-19), and all players who bought copies of Jade's component blueprints this way were allowed to keep them.
- This unintentional feature ends up showcasing parallels between the two Warframes, as Jade and
Dagath were both in relationships forbidden in Orokin society prior to their conversion to Warframes, though whereas Jade and Sorren's relationship was borne out of genuine love and led to Jade bearing a child, Dagath's relationship with Corphel & Irilia was only done to satisfy the couple's lust and ended with them dead after the couple failed to kill Dagath.

Is Jade technically a necramech? I mean the original jade is dead, so that's the "necra part" and there's a baby inside riding the biomechanical Warmachine so that would quality as the "mech" part wouldn't it?
Important notice.
Jade's #1 will NOT heal defense objectives. I haven't tested where this is also true for special defense opreatives.
Even in missions where the objective is a person e.g. chipper?
Like i said, haven't tested it with special defense operatives like in sortie or archon hunt. Normal stationary objectives does not get any heal though.
...which actually would be helpful, as you could get at least slim chance on healing defense targets and extractors on SP circuits Wave 10+
Right now nothing is capable on healing those fast enough.
It does heal operatives and makes them almost unkillable in higher-level missions where the health scales hard
Exalted baby augment when
Where do you think the 2nd Aura is from?
I feel like she's intended to be shield tanking with her 2's reslilience buff... But her ability to have ridiculous mod capacity with her two aura slots means she can just freely equip triple-Umbra instead.
Archon Intensify
Archon Vitality
Learn the fucking names first dude...

Her existence begs the question .... do warframes have dongs?
The Game makes clear she was turned into Warframe while pregnant.
Yes,but the game doesn't make it clear whether the dong is removed during the process of turning into a warframe
Eitehr removed, or become completely useless apendix. Infestation nanobots repurpose all flesh for much more specialised applience (that's what they were designed to do). And since infested don't 'breed' normally - any features related to breeding is utetrly useless for Infestation.
Albeit warframes remain shapes of original 'donor'. Though that might be Orokin post-sculpting, to give some more 'features' to warframe.
Might be like how umbra has a semi human face under his shell maybe his THANG is buried under a lot of armour and also makes sense why frames like rhino have bulges
Light of Judgment augment: Throw her baby, the baby does same damage of the skill but explode after the end . The Augment only can be bought in the store for 10k platinum.
I bet everyone wold buy it, dont even pretend.
People dont readily have 10k plat to drop on a meme mod
Clearly you don't play on PC
Replaying The Second Dream as Jade would have some unfortunate consequences ;w;
I've read somewhere that Jade's 2(damage buff) does actually affect amp damage. I know the amount of buffs that affect amp damage are few, so I felt it worth mentioning here.
It definitely affects the amps. At least it used to be the case around her release, didn't try it again since.
doesn't dethrone Volt, but certainly acts as competent competition and a much more comfortable pick for Eidolon hunting.
Shame you can't strip armor, nor slow down Eidolon with #3...
Such a shame that this warframe is so incredibly fun and i love the angel theme around her but then they went and made her pregnant at least let us remove the belly or something
I mean the deluxe will probably get rid of it. If you're that put off by it just wait lol. What a weird thing to complain about, weird implications of rebuilding Jade aside
I´ll laugh so hard when the deluxe does not get rid of it
I'll laugh even harder when the deluxe makes her bigger because she is pregnan with TWINS now!
No no , the pregnancy is the whole point that gave her a second aura augment. they took a pregnant woman and as a punishment created a monster warframe using the embryo for more augments. And to make it more salty they added an angelic appearance to the whole package, I want Deluxe to keep that pregnancy
So we have a preggo frame and a puke frame now. When do we get a scat frame? His ult could be taking a huge, steaming dump on the enemy.
I mean, we can't leave anybody out, right? Right?
Bold of you to assume the scat frame would be a he.
I'd be quite curious to see someone make an unironic attempt of a frame that incorporates shitting. All of the frames so far feel like they fit fairly well in the warframe universe. A large amount of complaints of the previous frames seem to come from a general principal of hating the overall theme of the frame over any inherent flaws with how that theme is incorporated into their design and kit.
Granted jade is a particularly notable exception in that her story is by far the most blatantly dark about it's history, and that the creation of the clone jades didn't at all get the weight it deserved; so I don't fault people's distaste in it.
2 girls 1 warframe
scatframe with toxin based abilities
People out here acting like a preggers woman should be shot at jfc. Great job fandom
Maybe they find it wierd sending a pregnant female out in battle to be shot, stabbed, electrocuted, incinerated etc.
Yeah, can't imagine why.
I mean, nowhere does it say Warframe has a happy story. The entire premise is literally "small group of people abuses science to rule as dictators over the masses" Let's not forget the literal child soldiers, forced meat cyborg transformation, body snatching, mind control, etc; war crimes committed by all sides, and so on. Jade being Infested by the Orokin with her fetus is just another check mark in the "Are the Orokin fucked up?" list
"Maybe they find it wierd sending a pregnant female out in battle to be shot, stabbed, electrocuted, incinerated etc."
You know VERY well this isn't the reason why. It's a certain "type" of people only who get triggered at that. connect the dots. (also who the fuck ever dies in warframe? the game is so easy it's hard to die at all)
But what those folks don't seem to understand is that it isn't a pregnant woman anymore. Orokin took a pregnant woman and as a punishment killed her and created a monstrous war machine and they used the fetus as an additional abilities container for the war machine. So this has nothing to see anymore with "sending a pregnant female out in battle to be shot, stabbed, electrocuted, incinerated etc."
I don't know if this was intended but when she sprouts her wings she reveals her base colors are a bit red-ish, and I'm personally getting this feeling they tried to recreate the "be not afraid" quote while we're going "ma'am, I've never been this afraid in my entire life".
I mean she doesn't need to spread her wings for you to be able to see that.
The chorus while in Glory on High is too quiet now. Don't understand why DE listened to the heathens who would reject the Choir of God.
Anyway, pregnant frame and... contractions minigame threw me for a loop. The Operator also knows the pain of childbirth now. Not complaining either way, I love Jade's design. They absolutely cooked here.
I absolutly adore how she has angelic choirs on all her abilities, they DEVOURED with her design
Yeah. Jade reignited my excitement for "filler" updates. From her design to the lore behind it, they absolutely did a great job.
Most of the warframes have dark lores behind them. But this one takes the cake, wow.
I felt pretty sad after reading her last message in Teshin's room.
We need to bring Ballas back via Conceptual Embodiment, then kill him again, but slowly.
Ballas is the warden in duviri, can´t kill him tho
No, no, Warden Ballas doesn't count. I meant actual Ballas. The one who knows us and remembers what he did up to the moment he died.
Genuine question. With Jade's symphony of Mercy, can only one buff be active at a time?
Correct.
Pretty certain, all three can be active at once. You just have to cast one, cycle, cast the next, etc. for all three.
No, only 1 can be active at a time, though you can freely cycle between them.
Yeah I think Jade is the first frame to have effects that actively change as you cycle instead of allowing multiple effects to stack. The closest example I can think of would be Venari's stances; which is functionally similar, but doesn't use an actual buff timer like Jade.
Aside from the fact the cycle buffs share the same duration, and remove the need to recast it they are functionally considered different buffs. Most notably including the power strength being checked after each cycle, and allowing multiple jades to cast different auras for all 3 effects.
I can see why people are weirded out by a pregnant warframe. When you know how warframes are created, it's especially twisted. That being said, gameplay-wise she's a beast.
Bear in mind she's a support frame, so she's not supposed to melt everything. But she's support done right, not just a healer but an actual support class, the kind I wish I'd see more often in games. For context, my first MMO was Anarchy Online some 20+ years ago, and I played a Metaphysicist, so a one-man tank / healer / controller / damage dealer, nowhere near as good as a specialised character in each, but able to do it all. Also, best buffs in the whole game. And Jade reminds me of that niche, a niche sorely missing duringr the past decade or so.
First off, her two aura slots mean she has the highest mod capacity of any warframe. That's not something to overlook. It also gives her more utility for the group, be it regenerating energy and health, removing armor and shields, regenerating various ammo, whatever.
Her 1 is a good heal / AoE DoT, and considering how easy it it to reach 200% ability strength (before buffs from her 2), you can do some serious damage and heal with it. Or you can mod it for range and duration, and spam it all around the map for large coverage. You do you. This ability won't let you facetank everything, but it's expected from a support. But it can make life alot easier for everyone, as support should.
Her 2 is great to buff the group, and in a defense or survival mission you will have no issue keeping it at 100% uptime. Spam her one, kill shit in the area, keep buffs up. Unless I'm very mistaken, you can also recast to make the buff more potent, as you benefit from the buff when you cast the buff with the buff already active. "Yo dawg" moment here. Obviously modding for duration helps keeping this up, modding for strength helps melting things. Combine with Vazarin passive for even easier group buffing.
Her 3 deals little damage per target, but helps you and the rest of the group deal more damage against tough targets, and it targets pretty much everything on screen. It also helps keeping the enemies inside your 1 for increased damage and easier buff duration extension. And when shit hits the fan, reviving your allies from a distance without having to stand in stupid is very helpful.
Her 4 isn't bad either. The weapon isn't as "god tier" as Titania's (comparison is inevitable, they both fly and get a new weapon on their 4), but the AoE is pretty good, and the main attack helps keeping buffs up too. Combined with her 3, you can easily revive your whole group without taking damage should the need arise. And of course, flying is useful in itself in some cases, like trivialising Jupiter platforming.
So, Jade is a great asset for a group, while still having the ability to pull some weight by herself.
For Helminth skills, some good candidates I can think of are :
Ember's Fire Blast for more damage and armor reduction capabilities
Excalibur's Radial Blind, Gara's Spectrorage or Harrow's Condemn to keep enemies where you want them
Garuda's Blood Altar for increased healing capabilities
Protea's Dispensary for even more utility to the group
Hydroid's Tempest Barrage to rain death from the sky, so for the lulz don't use it to replace her 4
Qorvex's Chyrinka Pillar for added stationnary AoE DoT
And of course the ever-useful Sevagoth's Gloom for more slow, more healing, more keeping enemies in place, and through the roof energy use if you mod for range.
As for what to replace, As much as I like it I'd say her 4 is the best candidate, but if you want a more "fire and forget" approach, replacing her buffs from 2 by some direct action skill could work, albeit at the cost of some utility. However, her kit is generally well-rounded, and replacing something is going to be situational, or because you really have some crazy OP build in mind (like a Gloom Banshee level of crazy OP). if you have one such build, feel free to share, I'm interested !

Leaves you with a Glory that deals around 60k damage in AoE bursts and overlapped targets will multiply that damage for each target currently marked by Judgement (1 is the ideal applicator). 2 on Strength to double stack strength buffs.
3 is optional, increasing damage at max but easily replaceable by armor strip options or the ever overpowered Nourish for raw presence. "Oh no, I can't revive in the air." You have an operator. Air strike your tenno on an ally and go invis to revive.
The build revolves around 4 alt fire. It's good with alt fire. I promise.
You still supply decent healing with your 1 for any Inaros draining health like a burst dam. Your 2 ends up supplying around 60-70 strength to allies in range. Whether armor strip (fire burst or terrify for instance) or viral, your three is flexible. :) GL Tenno ~
I won't, and wouldn't subsume any of Jade's abilities just because then you are getting rid of what makes her good all around

Years joking about it, and now we have a litteral space mom.
Wish they didn't remove her stationary Chorus. I loved listening to it...
If any tennogen artist reads that, make her belly much bigger.
Dude... Tennogen is built on the existing model. They are not allowed to modify it. Not gonna happen.
Hopefully that will be the case with her Prime in ~3 years.
