Coaction Drift is a rare dual-stat Exilus mod that increases an Aura's strength and effectiveness.
Stats[]
Rank | Aura Strength | Aura Effectiveness | Cost |
---|---|---|---|
0 | +2.5% | +2.5% | 4 |
1 | +5% | +5% | 5 |
2 | +7.5% | +7.5% | 6 |
3 | +10% | +10% | 7 |
4 | +12.5% | +12.5% | 8 |
5 | +15% | +15% | 9 |
Acquisition[]
- Coaction Drift is awarded upon completing the Collaboration Test in the Orokin Moon.
Notes[]
- Aura Strength increases the effect of your aura on everyone. Aura Effectiveness increases the effect of everyone's auras on yourself.
- When maxed, this will increase your aura's strength to (1 + 15%) ^ 2 = 1.3225x for yourself, and 1.15x for everyone else.
- For example, when combined with
Steel Charge, it will increase your melee damage by 1.3225 × 60% = 79.35%, and increase your squadmates' melee damage by 1.15 × 60% = 69%.
- For example, when combined with
- Does not work with
Power Donation or
Combat Discipline.
- This mod also takes effect in Archwing gameplay, as long as it is equipped on your Warframe.
- For auras that do not affect you specifically, but as a group (such as
Corrosive Projection), only Aura Strength applies.
- The table on Coaction Drift/Aura Table lists the total combinations of Auras with up to four players.
Trivia[]
- For a brief period, Coaction Drift doubled the base Aura's effect before applying its bonus. This was fixed in Hotfix 22.20.7 (2018-05-30).
Patch History[]
Hotfix 30.8.3 (2021-10-18)
- Fixed Coaction Drift having the opposite effect when combined with Toxin Resistance Aura, and was actually increasing Toxin Damage taken. As reported here: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1283989-toxin-resist-aura-coaction-drift-increase-toxin-damage-taken/
Hotfix 22.20.7 (2018-05-30)
- Fixed Coaction Drift doubling the base Aura (undocumented).
Update 19.13 (2017-03-09)
- Fixed the Coaction Drift Mod not fully applying when put into the Exilus slot as opposed to a non-Exilus slot.
Hotfix 18.0.4 (2015-12-08)
- Fixed the Coaction Drift Mod not properly increasing Aura strength or effectiveness.
Update 18.0 (2015-12-03)
- Challenge yourself in seven unique rooms across seven principles for new unique Mod rewards. (Introduced)

Does this work properly on both of jade's auras?
I would like to know too.
They changed the text on coaction_Drift. "Squad benefits +15% more from auras and you benefit an additional 15% from auras".
How does this work with corrosive projection if the whole squad is using it + coaction drift? The way I think it is is that everyone gets (15*4) = 60% aura strength, so each person corrosive projection goes from 18% to (18*1.6) = 28.8%, which, on a full squad, would automatically armor strip ALL enemies permanently.
But I read somewhere else that it is a max ~82%, gotten by doing 18*1.15*4. Which is right? If it's the second one, why? Do multiple coaction drifts not stack?
Same person, I've just read the aura table which says armor reduction is capped at 80% anyway, so this point is kind of moot but I'm still curious.
It says that will all players using coaction drift, the total reduction would still be 82.8%, which I don't get.
I think because corrosive projection only has one effect which applies to enemies, it is only affected by the strength portion. Your aura applies nothing to your squad, nor does theirs apply anything to you, so there is no double dipping in the effectiveness portion. This gives you the 82.8%.
If it was "your squad receives 18% reduced armor to nearby enemies" or something of the like, the effects would applied on the squad rather then straight to the enemies. Then yours would be affected by strength, and your squads auras on you would be affected by effectiveness. Then it would matter if the drifts stack or not, and it would triple dip as each individual would have their own aura boosted once, but would receive 3 boosted auras and boost them again.
+44 or +45 growing power with 4 coaction drifts or +36 or +37 with 3 coaction drift
So when is this going to be updated to the new stats saying "ally gets 15% while user gets additional 15%)? so we get 30% for using it now? or additional 15% from other ally auras?
This is actually a good question. Many player still not understands how this mod works. Let me explain from my understanding, please correct me if I'm wrong.
From wiki, When maxed, this mod will increase your aura's strength to (1 + 15%) ^ 2 = 1.3225x for yourself, and 1.15x for everyone else. Aura Strength increases the effect of your aura on everyone. Aura Effectiveness increases the effect of everyone's auras on yourself.
This mean aura effectiveness on yourself increases by x1.3225 (~30%) while aura effectiveness on squadmates by x1.15 (~15%)
Situation A, 1 person with Corrosive Projection + Coaction Drift.
When Coaction Drift combined with Corrosive Projection 18% armor reduction aura, it will increase your armor reduction aura effects by 1.3225 × 18% = 23.805%, and increase your squadmates' armor reduction aura effects by 1.15 × 18% = 20.7%
We would prefer to see the squadmates' aura buff which is 20.7%

You're mostly correct here, except corrosive projection does not affect you, so the aura effectiveness will not apply. Corrosive projection will only receive the 15% from the aura strength for ~20.7% armor reduction. Corrosive projection applies it's effect directly to enemies, so it is not a stat on yourself that would be increased.
+30% rule applies to some auras which affect everyone equally, like brief respite and ready steel. Easiest way to check this is combine ready steel with coaction drift, you'll reach above 30 initial combo (+30%) instead of somewhere near 27 (+15%). Since corrosive projection applies to enemies, it dips only once, hence +15% bonus only.
How does it work with rejuvination?
From the table of interactions, just multiple total regen rate (3hp/s for 1 player, 9hp/s for 3 players, etc.) by 1.3225 for actual total regen.
15% should be buffed to 25%, in my opinion.
Is Aerodynamic not on here or am I blind?
Swift Momentum too lol the two auras I wanted to see
I was wondering if Coaction Drift would affect Railjack auras, like Onslaught Matrix, to decrease the energy cost per ability cast. But as far I can tell, it does not affect it sadly. Otherwise I did not test the other Railjack auras/effects. I don't know if it would be worth the test currently.
Growing Power now correctly scales with Coaction Drift.
Updated, thanks.
And an anon readded back that it is not affected by Coaction Drift. Hmm
Hello. I've retested this interaction after the most recent update at the time of this post (30.8.1).
Growing Power still works with Coaction Drift. I've documented this in more detail in the following image album.
https://imgur.com/a/UNDVVD1
It also works as expected on other players using Coaction Drift.
You may notice that the tests show Growing Power giving the ability a slightly higher than 25% boost but this is also detailed in the comments sections on the Growing Power page. Essentially due to the rounding issues between each Growing Power rank, it's actually slightly higher than 25%.
I tested Combat Discipline as well and it works how the anonymous poster has specified in their edit.
I didn't test any other info about other auras as they weren't edited by the anonymous poster.
If they have any more info on why Growing Power didn't work with Coaction Drift for them it would be great to explain it in more detail.
I'm pretty sure it's working on growing power now
Basically you need at least two players to be using this aura before it provides a significant benefit. Otherwise run the aura best suited to your frame. Running this aura in public random groups wont likely offer much benefit to your frame.
This is not an aura mod, it's an exilus mod. you can equip this to strengthen YOUR aura for everyone as well as any aura effects you receive. Since its an exilus mod it doesn't even need to take one of your main mod slots.
does it work on growing power?
"Does not work with [1] Growing Power nor [2] Power Donation"
Says here Shield Charger is affected; I don't understand. That's a sentinel/moa mod? lol
the game does the calculation for that mod as it would with an aura, since it affects teammates
Just to recap: At no point does Coaction Drift increase anyone else's Aura directly; It makes your aura 1.15x it's value and amplifies auras in the cases in which it applies a buff to you, for you only. So for a Corrosive Projection you only need to consider, If the player has BOTH Corrosive Projection and Coaction Drift, they are contributing 20.7% If the player has ONLY Corrosive Projection, they are contributing 18.0% If the player has ANY other aura whether they are wearing Coaction Drift or not, they are contributing nothing to CP.
Since most debuffs state they cap at 80% you would be required a minimum of 4 of the auras and 3 coactions. 20.7% + 20.7% + 20.7% + 18% = 80.1%
Any news if this works with Combat Discipline ? Can't seems to find info on it on either page.
Just realized how simple this is to test. Tried it with Coaction Drift on, still lost 10 health per kill with max rank Combat Dicipline. So at the very least it doesn't effect the users health lost, which I would assume means it doesn't effect the aura at all.
Does not work with [1] Growing Power nor [2] Power Donation; [3] Shield Charger. Has far has I know that is the only ones it doesn't work on
Shouldn't Shield Disruption for 1 player with both SD and CD be -31.74% not -27.6%?
never mined found where i was doing the math wrong
Serious Question Here: Does it affect your Opponent it a duel in the clan dojo?
The description doesnt seem to make sense... if it increases your aura by 15% and squad buffing auras by 15% for yourself (example: Corrosive projection is not a squad buffing aura but an enemy debuffing aura) why does it say it increases by 15% twice? the first 2 sentences contradict themselves
example: when only you are using sprint boost + CD 15 * 1,15 = 17,25% speed there is no reason to give you another 15% meaning 19,84% is wrong
if there was however another person with Sprint boost that means 15 * 1,15 = 17,25 for yourself 15 * 1,15 = 17,25 for the buff your squadmate gives you which is 17,25 * 2 = 34,5% increase, meaning +39.68% is wrong
i guess the used the same formula for every buff and called it a day xd
Both of your problems seem to stem from not reading properly.
It does not say that anywhere. Quite the contrary, it is explicitly exemplarized that CP only gets one of the 15% bonuses.
Not wrong at all, the table lists examples for all players using CD as is written above it.
Here is an example with only one CD, hope that helps:
So let me really dig into this to clear up any misinformation people seem to have on this mod. Hmmm k so theres a lot more numbers than i thought there would be... uh carry the 2 or something. Uh that must equal.. uh Yeah so To end all disputes on the equations going around. Well it seems without the mod your stuff runs at one number or whatever. And then if you have the mod on it wil then be a different number. The equation is so advaced that sometimes It makes a differnce to use the mod and other times it doesnt. There really is no way of predicting it. So hopefully that helped out. Id get more into the numbers with you guys but i mean if its confusing to me than i cant imagine how hard it would be to try to explain it to you
"...to clear up any misinformation people seem to have on this mod." How exactly does one clear up others misunderstandings when they don't understand themselves? These equations are simply additive and multiplicative (understandably that could still be difficult to some).
Also, reading this made me angry. ;)
