Great for bounties, enemies like to hid often
Great aura for doing The Index. Makes life easier even for teammates who does not have a radar mod.
Where can you find it in 2020?
As it is written "Nightwave Offerings"....
Where can you find it now? its february 3 2021
There is no relation to the date. as long as nightwave lasts the offerings are changing every week. just keep looking every week - one day the mod will be there hopefully.
Or buy it?
Don't know if anybody cares, but :
Ivara passive = 20m ; Stealth Drift = 18m ; Primed Animal Instinct = 33m ; Enemy Sens = 30m ; Vigilante Pursuit = 30m ; 4 Enemy Radar + 4 Coaction Drift = 158.7m
So : 20+18+33+30+30+158.7 = 289.7 meters worth of enemy radar.
You can get more with Khora instead of Ivara. Venari can equip also Primed Animal Instrinct, for +13m total.
Very underrated aura. This can greatly increase your team surviving and killing rate by showing exactly where should they throw the nuke or where should they run. Or even firing through walls with punch through weapons to clear rooms before the enemies ever have a chance to counter.
Primed animal instinct exist, I know, but 33m radar isn't enough. 60m is the minimum.
Still. Somehow someone just keep bringing corrosive projection everywhere even though our weapons can easily obliterate lvl 100 armored enemies.
With regards to comments stating that this "activates" enemy AI:
I did a lot of testing using max range radar Ivara(including animal instinct) and no radar Ivara(sans passive) on a mobile defense(enemies become alerted when the first data-mass is inserted) — Minthe, Pluto.
I only directly compared terminals on the same tileset as the time to destroy varied by the tile the terminal was on. There was zero difference between the time to destroy the terminals (sans a few seconds of randomness) between the two radar ranges.
This seems like a myth to me.
unfortunately, I doubt it is a myth. ghouls keep chasing my damn ivara even though I only use silent weapons and stay in prowl the entire mission. once they spawn in range, they just wont stop running toward me. They don't see me, but they know I am there.
Equipping this also makes enemies know exactly where you are and makes them rush towards your location even if youre invisible and they dont really know where you are, they still go straight to you.
Maybe you should be using a silent weapon when invisible, seeing as enemies can still hear you...
That said, I have seen enemies run towards the exit when I'm stealthing exterminates, so that might be related to said behavior...
I did test 2 years ago, and it was true.
I did the test 1 month ago, and it was not true anymore. with and without, in survie, they rush toward me.
What it doesnt say is that it forces highlighted enemies to run towards you when in an alerted state (always alert in survival).
So enemies in distant rooms will be hauling to get to you, normally they mill about.
Use this + enemy sense and Stealth drift for MR19 test, you can gather all of the enemies once you pass the starting platform. Makes planning to strike easier
Noted.
4 of them gives you 120m of enemy sense...which will also stack with enemy sense (+30) animal instinct (+30) and stealth drift (+18) for a grand total of 198 enemy detection...and while its not easy to tell just how much area is 1m in the game, most sources say syndicate weapons blast out to 25m and that hits all of a moderate sized room...so you should be able to see most enemies on the map...but i dont really think these mods are very usefull...maybe if it also indicated direrction or even better gave a silloette through walls...
The radar serves quite few purposes:
- It allows you to search out enemies in survival
- It allows you to see spawns in Index, which is specifically important if you use max range limbo build
- [bug] It causes enemy AI to become aggressive as when alerted, as they enter pursuing state once they appear on minimap which helps in survival
- It helps your situational awareness in spy missions
Locating demolition enemy on disruption
If you stack 4 of these and Enemy Sense then press M to enlarge the minimap can you see essentially enemy?
Then you'll have 150m enemy detection range but I dunno how large is that. The most I've had is 90m and my enlarged map can barely handle that.
Also try 102m loot radar. It's the dope.
Saw this on alert and thought it would finally be time for some stealth gameplay. Too bad I had to go solo just before it ended combined with the g3 magically deciding to show up now out of all missions. Perhaps I'll go buy a new keyboard while waiting for the next chance to get it?
it look like this when u using it http://i.imgur.com/KEijagR.jpg
hate to running all the way back for remaining enemy on exterminate?
well this mod can help you
You can move the mini-map to the middle of the screen? if only i'd twigged on to this sooner. woulda saved me running into a lot of walls trying to look in 2 places at once heh.
did the alert, and as i finished the mission, the servers went down, just logged in now to see i dont have it ;_;
DAMN
Тупой мод бля
useful for stealth, so you know if one is gonna come through a door and mess up the mission
does this work in pvp?
wy do you even need it in pvp
^pfft what a snailpaced fella... Knowing ur enemy location on conclave is good, now ask again why u need it on conclave...
Just imagine: double aura, shows enemies at mini-map + sh
+show enemy behind walls in about 10 m*
How big is the minimap anyway? If the minimap was say, 35 meters, this mod could be flawlessly perfect, whereas if it's 75 meters, it would be useless...
Minimap seems to be 30 meters. Enemies show up immediatly when they enter it.
I like this. Its Enemy Sense with the added bonus of helping your whole squad. It also frees up a mod slot on your frame.
