This ability heals MOA companions but doesn't teleport them, possibly to prevent cheesing spy missions.
The only reason they would prevent this from teleporting moas is as a countermeasure against the hacking precept.
Doesn't teleport??
Weird, i always use titania with this to cheese lua spy mission...
It teleports them now lol
Took them long enough lol
Still meh ability considering Link mods that resurrect pets quickly
It needs a redo. Maybe it should also buff summoned companions' with Overguard and Crit Chance? Would be great, ngl.
The only way to make this Helminth power not suck, is to buff it in 2 ways:
Let it instantly revive companions at any distance (but not from death, that would be broke-op when combined with 'Spare Parts' and 'Self Destruct' mods)
Let it heal and teleport all Ally's too. (Nekros Summons, Spectres, Venari, Atlas Stone Golems)
Done, and balanced.
It already does revive companions from bleedout though, unless you are talking about Sentinels too which it doesn't currently do since they do not have a bleedout state.
How exactly sentinels are OP, in what world are you living. You are literally sacrificing entire ability to have subpar companion all the time which you mostly need for vacuum, when you can you cats or vulpa.
I'm quite late, but what the original commenter was calling "overpowered" was if this could bring back a sentinel from the dead, not sentinels themselves.
Sentinels are not overpowered in any sense of the word and probably never will be as they are mostly used for build synergies like synth fiber/deconstruct + equilibrium and/or utility. (Even Dethcube, which markets itself as an "offensive sentinel", is mostly used because Vaporize can seemingly stun just about anything in existence and energy generator can be helpful.)
But if Master's Summons could bring back a sentinel from the dead you could potentially infinitely farm rare resources with the mod "Spare Parts" by going into a high level mission with a super squishy sentinel and letting it die then reviving it over and over again. Allowing for potentially MASSIVE amounts of morphics, neurodes, gallium, orokin cells, neural sensors, control modules, tellurium, or even argon crystals and entrati lanthorns all to be farmed infinitely and quickly. It could also allow using a sentinel that has fully invested in bulk as an infinite revive with "Sacrifice" like people can already sort of use Djinn and Protea Dispensery Augment for.
This is why Regen simply stops your sentinel's death and heals it instead of letting it die and then reviving it. This is why Hard Reset has such a strict activation condition and why it's still one of only 3 things which can revive a dead sentinel, the others being Djinn's Reawaken and Protea's Dispensary Aument both of which are both on long cooldowns. 1 mod makes reviving your sentinel potentially a crazy good farming method for things that are supposed to be rare, and another would allow endless revivals on any frame at VERY low cost, every other self revive requires enemies to kill like Unairu's Last Gasp and Sevagoth's passive, a resource like Nidus's stacks, or a cooldown like Voruna's 4th passive. This would require 50 energy, and a sentinel that can survive long enough to complete the revive process. It work on ANY frame as well, so any of the ones that can easily make back that 50 energy could do it forever.
Personally, I would be absolutely chill with Spare Parts (and maybe Sacrifice too if DE is understandably wary of it as well) being completely reworked or even removed if it meant reviving a dead sentinel isn't something that DE has to be scared of breaking the game with. I built mine with 8 utility mods, so it always sucks when it dies and that utility VANISHES. I'd be more than willing to give up an ability slot just to get that utility back.
I can't understand, it worked one time when my Taxon was dead but only if i am waiting for other players at the extraction point...it makes no sense if it doesn't revive them during the mission
Ikr.... Trying to use Taxon for a build but I can't find any reliable way to keep the stupid thing alive. You'd think this ability would do that, but no. Actual trash, I can revive the cats and dogs myself.
What even is the point if it doesn't revive dead companions?
It's a heal not a resurrect. Would be broken if they revived dead companions. It's still a good ability to have on a lot of frames. Especially in endless missions.
Protea augment on dispenerary.....revives dead sentinels......and that is her ability that you can infuse on other frames, and use that augment.....so yeah you can auto revive them 100% every 60 seconds. So agruement on spare parts is dead.
Also hard reset parazon mod
Hmm. Venari.
Lol
Note that I wrote this before they added the statement denying it.
Doesn't even matter if it does or not. Khora can already re-summon Venari to her position any time she pleases with no cooldowns
I don't care about that, just the technical properties of things.
Weird concern, but why does the page's url not have the apostrophe? If any admin notices this comment, consider renaming it for consistency's sake
Does this work with Atlas' 4th?
That is pointless his gaze ability heals them
Doesn't affect Titania's Razorfies, and if cast during Razorwing, it revives/heals the companion, but doesn't summon it in any way (there is a particle effect where it would summon though)
Razorflies aren't a companion
With DE categories are more like guidelines :D
Any chance, that this is working for Nekros?
If you are referring to Shadows, then I don't expect them to be consider d companions. You can recast SoTD while there are Shadows to heal them and teleport them to you though.
It would be redundant on Nekros though. His 4 already does the exact same thing for his summons.
Does this work on sentinels at all or just animals?
It heals them, but that's about it since Sentinels follow you as much as possible. Useful if you see their shields gone to get the gate ready again.
Does this also revive the companion?
yes it does, but only animal companions
not if they are dead, if they are just downed, yes.
It heals moas but doesn't teleport them, presumably to prevent cheesing spy missions.
