Air Support Charges are a Gear item that calls in support from the player's Landing Craft. They were introduced in Update 17.5 (2015-10-01).

Usage[]
When used, Air Support Charges will throw a floating ball onto the ground held up by an electric tether. The Air Support ability will then be deployed after a delay of a few seconds. Air Support Charges have a 10-minute cooldown (5 minutes with Engineering Intrinsic Rank 2) in between uses, with a cooldown timer visible on the Gear wheel menu. Players may only bring 200 charges per mission.
Air Support abilities are locked behind certain Landing Crafts, noted in the chart below. Acquiring the Landing Craft will unlock their respective ability for all Landing Crafts, which can be changed in the Landing Craft Customize screen.

Really hoping if/when Veso becomes summonable that he gets his own separate beacon not tied to the air support so I can have Veso n Kahl together in my group.

He was somehow teleported with a limp to the drifter's Duviri paradox though, so he's still alive also whats the "*" mean?
Not even DE knows, if they want bring Veso back and survive the explosion like a Warframe, why not?

Kahl summon doesn't use them either.

Are these supposed to actually get consumed? I made 200 of them and after using Orokin Eye in dozens of missions I still have 200.

That's player problem, not an item problem. I always use Liset charge when someone screws up spy mission or resque mission (works on scripted sortie alarm too), Parallax skill is pretty neat, others has its uses too. Only thing that is really meh is Scimitar carpet bombing, the damage is just laughable for 10/5 minutes cooldown.
Having 3/7 being useful and the other 4 being absolutely trash isn't really a player problem. They all should be useful, not just 3 and call it good enough.

Okay so asides Liset airsupport being good and Mantis Airsupport being.. okay?
Air supports need a buff, tbh. They're all pretty garbage except the aforementioned ones. Why not give the Carpet Bombing True damage and just make it do like, 50% of an enemy's health pool or something? It's on a 10 minute cooldown, so it's not like you can abuse it that hard.
Turret could also use a buff. Make it scale with enemy level or something, make it do some decent damage too. Idk.
Nora's one is bugged, I think. It puts enemies to sleep initially hit by the speaker wave, but enemies wallking into the Circle don't get put to sleep. Nora's would be fine if it applied the sleep to enemies that walked into the ring but whatever I guess
The only thing nice about air support are indeed Override and Med-Tower, because they offer time saving features. The others are similar to Mesa's 1, takes longer to cast than the benefits the make-up for lost time. Unlike Override which saves you the hassle of finding a panel (sometimes difficult), and Med-Tower's ability to heal on demand (remotely revives pets too). Carpet Bomb needs to insta kill a large area (except bosses) to be worth the effort, as of current, you're more effective just popping into operator and detonating the propa scaffold amp AoE for more immediate and higher damage. The turret can't compete against specters, which are not only scaling, more customizable, no cooldown, but also follows you and cast abilities like buffs, so turret should be reworked to something else entirely. Lastly Nora's Dreamers practically lets enemies die of old age. Most enemies don't survive more than 5 seconds in line of sight, so you're absolutely right that there needs to be a duration on that air support.
If you ask me, replace Turret with Energy-Tower and replace Carpet Bomb with 1.5x-2x damage buff, because the players scale

Was considering getting another landing craft, but as DE doesn't even bother giving the crafts different interiors I won't either spend plat or invest the time getting one, just for a little gimmick on a 10 min. CD.

you first need to craft(or buy) the landing craft foundry segment... the blueprint can be researched in the tenno lab of your dojo...
if you don't have a dojo, you can build your own clan or join one (faster option)

Somewhat useful delay of timers in spy missions and rescue missions Ciphers if not in sortie

2.5K Hp tower. Waay cheaper healing options and more efficient ways to heal
How to Improve:
Everything: maybe add multiple choices for each landing craft? Fix the cooldown. The damage values etc.
Liset: More choices such as turning turrets against the enemy, activating MOAs in corpus missions to fight by your side (the ones in the "lockers" or similar things...?
Mantis: Multiple types of capsules with perhaps better values. Or other support Items
Scimitar: Multiple types of bombing runs and better damage values. or other offence related abilities
Xiphos: More defence related deployables..? Not just 1 turret every 10 minutes, that sometimes bugs out.

Is the 10m cooldown shared by the entire squad or can each one activate theirs independently?
I have noticed that after calling in ordis for the lockdown timer, another player did the same shortly after me and it stacked so aslong as you have 4 squad members with support-override those spy missions would be a walk in the park

Does liset air support prevent alarms from even be triggered? Like you drop one, and run trough a spy mission and get it like you didnt even trigger the alarm?
Nope. It will freeze the countdown timer in spy and rescue missions, but it won't prevent alarms from activating.
Seems like a handy trick for people who have trouble with hacking, didn't build any ciphers but has a whole bunch of air support charges instead.
There are trolls that will purposely trigger the alarm and wait till the last second to finish their vault. They do this to waste other people's air support. I don't bother with using the Liset air support for spy missions and purely use it to lazy open lockdown doors haha.
Yes if the Override affect is triggered (takes about 5 sec after the item being used), it will lock-out the terminals from being used for a set amount of time. Once that time ends the Alerted enemies will bee-line it to hit the Alarms.
