A device of undetermined function and origin. Prized by Vox Solaris and the Quills.
Earn Vega Toroids from enemies located at the Spaceport in the Orb Vallis and from Mite Raknoids. They can also be found as pick-ups in caves located around the Orb Vallis.
—In-game Description
The Vega Toroid is a rare resource that can be acquired in caves, or as a rare drop from Mite Raknoids and any enemies near the Spaceport in Orb Vallis. This resource acts as either a normal pickup when dropped by enemies, or as an interactive object if found in caves.
Redeeming Vega Toroid will award 1,000 1,000 with Vox Solaris. One is also used as a sacrifice for Rank 1 - Operative and Rank 2 - Agent. It is also used as a crafting component for the Garuda and Baruuk Warframes, as well as various Operator suit and Amp parts.

Gathering Tips[]
Spaceport, Orb Vallis: try to get one of the enemies to put down a Reinforcement Beacon and wait until the beacon hits Alert Level 4. Number of enemies spawned is related to number of players nearby, and is capped. Going inside the base can cause the outside to reset and vice versa, but this means a new beacon must be planted and raised to level 4 again.
The first phase of the Exploiter Orb fight spawns tons of Mite Raknoids. The team can bring farming frames like Nekros, Khora, or Hydroid to enhance the drop chances of the Vega Toroids.
Vega Toroids are an uncommon drop of Profit-Taker Phase 1.
Caves with Toroid spawns
Several caves throughout the Orb Vallis are able to spawn Toroids as interactable objects. They have a low spawn rate, and are usually hidden in secluded alcoves in each cave. Toroids likely only have a chance of spawning in one or two set positions in a given cave (often near scannable Solaris memory fragments), although this needs confirmation.
Buffs such as Smeeta Kavat's charm affect the number of pickups you get from a single Toroid object.
Toroid objects do not glow when viewed through a scanner.
Loot Detector will show interactable Toroids on the mini-map.
The next batch of changes to improve the new player experience are here! In this update, we rebalance the Fortuna Syndicates rank-up requirements to make them more accessible.
Solaris United & Vox Solaris Syndicate Sacrifice Changes:
The Rank-up Sacrifices for Solaris United and Vox Solaris have undergone a rebalance! Both have had their requirements significantly reduced to help make these Syndicates much more accessible for players.
This change is two fold: reduced crafting costs for Amp parts, and reduced Standing cost for purchasing parts. Our goal here is to make constructing an Amp more accessible to players by reducing resource demands. This is rooted firmly in the role upgrading your Amp plays in performing well in main quests like The Sacrifice as well as engaging in Focus Tree related content. Here are the changes below:
Cantic
Vega Toroid cost reduced from 5 to 3
Longwinder Lathe Coagulant cost reduced from 10 to 6
Gyromag Systems & Radiant Zodian cost reduced from 5 to 3
Lega
Vega Toroid cost reduced from 5 to 3
Charamote Sagan Module cost reduced from 10 to 6
Gyromag Systems & Radiant Zodian cost reduced from 5 to 3
Klamora
Vega Toroid cost reduced from 5 to 3
Tromyzon Entroplasma cost reduced from 10 to 6
Gyromag Systems & Radiant Zodian cost reduced from 5 to 3

In 2024 nothing has changed. If you have a ressource booster or a ressource chance booster (better both at the same time) use it to farm Toroids if you need those.
For this task I'm using Ivara with a weaponless Carrier for years now and it always served me in the best way. Don't use a Smeeta Kavat because it will cause a lot of unnecessary trouble especially with higher-tier enemies.
I let the enemies deploy the maximum of 5 Reinforcement Beacons (all at the highest Alert level and well distributed over the place to avoid that they will be destroyed by accident) in front of one of the Spaceport entries, pickpocket them and kill them thereafter. I do this until the enemy level goes beyond what I can handle or if I lose interest.
Today my first Toroid farming session (after 2 years hiatus) was around 40 minutes, I had a simple ressource booster and I got 22 Vega Toroids with this method. I remember the times when I had ressource booster and ressource chance booster at the same time and got around 50 Vega Toroids in about 45 minutes (sometimes more, sometimes less) so I think the results are comparable.
Finally unlocked heists ... did like 10 times first bounty, 0 drop. Got fed up and went to spaceport .... 24 minutes with barely spawning enemies .... got 5. 12.5% vs 2% btw, definitely drop chances not lying for bounty
Exploiter orb (not profit taker) is an amazing way to farm those, just keep it in deck 12 and farm the heck out of the army of mite raknoid she spawn
Just needed 3 vega toroids and thought to test my luck with the profit taker bounty.
Bad idea.
21 runs and 0 vega toroid drops.
My luck is on another level.
Cause it doesnt drop from profit taker bounty? it might drop from exploiter orb bounty
OMEGALUL
3 of them can drop from phase 1 profit taker bounty, no idea wtf you going on about.
I just looted Toroids on the ground (1 of each type) in Transit Depot's cave. Can be added on the "Gathering Tips" map!
I can't get the alert up solo in Space Station. This is more than lame.
Stayed too long in SP for this shit. should have extracted way sooner.

Y'know what, maybe my 727 Amp is good enough...
Jesus this last comment gave me an aneurysm.
Remember, do not get upset at people having improper grammar, or spelling errors, because everyone makes mistakes. Now simply try interpreting what he meant like I did, which is to say, "Ouch, 727 is for when you fucking suck."
He literally meant what he wrote, 727 is a famous joke in the rythm game Osu
He meant what he had written. 727 is a famous joke in osu!, a rhythm game. "727 wysi"
The people defending this absolute brain numbing farm with the equivalency of watching grass grow are just as delusional as the people who post on the bug forums and thinking their bug will be fixed over a syandana not looking correct
Warframe 2 when?
These drops are such a pain in the ass. I can't believe i'm even farming this shit just to get to the other amp parts, this reputation bottleneck is such a fucking nightmare.
I farmed for 777 in less than 30 minutes. Maybe DE hates you?
Let play the game of spot the 12 year old in the comments.
Cap
Forget about the amps, why the fuck does every single operator cosmetic need 5 of these things?
The way we have been farming them solo has been made more difficult due to the Eximus rework. I've been looking at YT creators and not one has posted an updated video. With Eximus every where, going solo is not impossible, but you will have to set yourself up to kill the too. They don't drop like normal enemies, and also we have to deal with various de-buff fields. Ive played sessions where almost every enemy is an Eximus. Not the same by any stretch.
As someone at the endgame for Warframe, and have no need to use anything below Kuva, or Tenet, grade weapons, I can only say, "Please use Meta builds. Warframe is a hardcore space-ninja mil-sim where min-maxing is mandatory. This is the reason Warframes keep getting nerfed." Eximus units are easy to kill. Just beat the game, finishing grinding for 2000 hours, and get a full set of Tenet gear, or just leach off of someone stronger than you. This is how all of DE's play testers operate; nothing else explains why they thought the new Eximus Shielding was a good idea.
Kuva weapons aren't hard to get. You don't even need your own railjack.
^^ Why should i play with 10 weapons when there are hundreds ? :O
What a delusional people
You can do most of the content with any weapon and some thoughtful modding
It's your choice to pick meta weapons over another ones, because youtube tierlist says so
"try to get one of the enemies to put down a Reinforcement Beacon and wait until the beacon hits Alert Level 4."
If you're crazy and "leet" (or think you are), this is a good tip. But for most players it isn't. Not needed, simple and easy to farm without.
I wish all the "Git Gud"s would die out tomorrow.
This is easy. Just beat the game (+1000 hours), get a full set of Tenet Gear, use a Saryn Meta Build with a Tenet Cycron (+Cascadia Flare Max +Status Build), and then kill until the Alert Beacons reach max level. From there, just kill away. It'll take less than 15 minutes to get the needed Toroids. At this point, even Eximus won't pose a threat to you.
Yea u want some resources in the second planet ? Nonono, just beat the whole system to the ground and come back later with your shiny "endgame" gear, and make sure u follow the meta like everyone
Cringe
Your cringe is cringe
Just get a resource drop chance boost or wait till daily login/sorties gives you one and don't think it twice, go farm thes Toroids things, with drop chance resources it's easy to get, and bring a smeeta kavat without fetch, so you can make sure that you pick up toroids with smeeta buff x2 resources.
Took me less than 30 minutes to farm for this after I waited 3 weeks for a resource drop booster. Saved me an hour of farming. Thank you!
Cantic prism requires 3 toroids, not 5.
Go inside spaceport in fortuna and pretend you are fighting cops in gta. dont destroy the poles they place because that will reduce your wanted level. when enemies stop spawning run outside and fight out there until spawns go dry again. i dont suggest doing this at all unless you combine a resource booster with smeeta luck. the vega toroids can drop from most enemies from my experience. Mesa and nekros are best. with a booster, smeeta, and mesa i got very lucky and got 20 in less than half an hour by myself. I use mesa because her regulators dont target the poles that increase wanted level. if you arent at 4 i dont think they will drop at all.
Can confirm this. I was only standing outside at Space Port and I got 10 Vega Toroids in 22 minutes. I had a resourse booster active so I got 2 per drop.
Relatively new player. Don't have those frames or cats. Spent 30 minutes at highest level of alert with 3 poles. Plenty of enemies. Got one Vega toroid. Need just one more for the first rank up. Good game. Feels good.
Another 30 minutes and got one more. Ranked up and realized this faction is not worth the grind for now.
Steel Path is the way.
Figuratively, or literally? Because I thought Ugandan Knuckles was the way?
Is that a DOOM REFERENCE?
No boomer, it isnt
Considering Doom is Eternal, that makes you the Boomer, not OP.
Alert level 4 at the port, absolutely nothing is spawning
Then run outside the walls. I figure after a year, you should have figured this out by now.
I got 6000 of these in just under 30 seconds
No
Lmao
I got only 1800 in 30 minutes. I mean the seconds.
That's what happens when you play the Chinese version. Pretty easy to mistake hacking for effort there.
Spaceport solo Nekros, got 6 of these in 2 mins.
You got 6 Nekros in 2 minutes? Wish I could get my first Nekros...
