A device of undetermined function and origin. Prized by Vox Solaris and the Quills.
Earn Vega Toroids from enemies located at the Spaceport in the Orb Vallis and from Mite Raknoids. They can also be found as pick-ups in caves located around the Orb Vallis.
—In-game Description
The Vega Toroid is a rare resource that can be acquired in caves, or as a rare drop from Mite Raknoids and any enemies near the Spaceport in Orb Vallis. This resource acts as either a normal pickup when dropped by enemies, or as an interactive object if found in caves.
Redeeming Vega Toroid will award 1,000 with Vox Solaris. One is also used as a sacrifice for Rank 1 - Operative and Rank 2 - Agent. It is also used as a crafting component for the Garuda and Baruuk Warframes, as well as various Operator suit and Amp parts.
Spaceport, Orb Vallis: try to get one of the enemies to put down a Reinforcement Beacon and wait until the beacon hits Alert Level 4. Number of enemies spawned is related to number of players nearby, and is capped. Going inside the base can cause the outside to reset and vice versa, but this means a new beacon must be planted and raised to level 4 again.
The first phase of the Exploiter Orb fight spawns tons of Mite Raknoids. The team can bring farming frames like Nekros, Khora, or Hydroid to enhance the drop chances of the Vega Toroids.
Vega Toroids are an uncommon drop of Profit-Taker Phase 1.
Caves with Toroid spawns
Several caves throughout the Orb Vallis are able to spawn Toroids as interactable objects. They have a low spawn rate, and are usually hidden in secluded alcoves in each cave. Toroids likely only have a chance of spawning in one or two set positions in a given cave (often near scannable Solaris memory fragments), although this needs confirmation.
Buffs such as Smeeta Kavat's charm affect the number of pickups you get from a single Toroid object.
Toroid objects do not glow when viewed through a scanner.
Loot Detector will show interactable Toroids on the mini-map.
The next batch of changes to improve the new player experience are here! In this update, we rebalance the Fortuna Syndicates rank-up requirements to make them more accessible.
Solaris United & Vox Solaris Syndicate Sacrifice Changes:
The Rank-up Sacrifices for Solaris United and Vox Solaris have undergone a rebalance! Both have had their requirements significantly reduced to help make these Syndicates much more accessible for players.
This change is two fold: reduced crafting costs for Amp parts, and reduced Standing cost for purchasing parts. Our goal here is to make constructing an Amp more accessible to players by reducing resource demands. This is rooted firmly in the role upgrading your Amp plays in performing well in main quests like The Sacrifice as well as engaging in Focus Tree related content. Here are the changes below:
