Iwatani torch owners, do you only use iwatani brand butane?

Products/Equipment

I have a torch I was gifted but the manual says to only use their butane. Unfortunately, their butane on amazon wont get to my location in over a month.

Are there any other food-safe brands on Amazon?

Gas is gas. I personally prefer propane, but the brand doesn't ever matter as long as you're using the right one.

I just wanted to make sure because there’s food-grade liquid nitrogen, for example.

Any reason why you prefer butane over propane? Thanks for chiming in.

I've been using this brand "GOOD BUTANE" for years for my butane stove. I recently tried it on my iwatani torch and it works great. I think it can be found for even cheaper than this link so look around a little bit.

Nope, I use any butane I can get. I can't get butane shipped to California, so I go to Ace or my local H-Mart to buy cannisters.
