Could you clarify this? I'm not sure what point it's trying to get at, and at least in my case found it misleading.
I took it to mean that the mod doesn't work in solo mode, which is false. Just tested, it DOES work.
I assume it means that you will always bleed out in solo when you have a Vasca with you, even if the ability is on cooldown and it won't be able to revive you (it would make more sense to skip the bleedout state if the remaining revive cooldown is longer than your bleedout timer).
It... it means exactly what it says. Losing all your health when you're playing alone instead of with others will cause you to go into bleedout no matter what when you have a Vasca Kavat with you, because of this mod, which will happen even if the mod isn't able to work for some reason (either because it's on cooldown or because the Kavat doesn't have enough health to sacrifice). Normally, when playing alone, you just die.
This suddenly feels so bad compared to Martyr Symbiosis. If you're not playing a tanky frame and are constantly healing your Vasca in high level missions, it will usually be the one in need of revival instead of you. And if it actually manages to revive you, the ability has a 120 second cooldown.
Meanwhile your Vulpaphyla cannot die and will always watch over you, and it will reliably prevent you from dying with no cooldown at all.
Sure, the Vulpaphyla needs corpses to fuel its ability, but if you're able to afk-tank groups of high level enemies without additional healing or damage reduction, while you would be dead on the ground after 1 second if you attempted this with a Vasca (who would be dead on the ground with you), the corpse mechanic is either not working as intended or not a real disadvantage.
I think you're exaggerating a bit here my friend, vasca kavat is still decent for missions where there's not a lot of enemies, but high damage, such as boss fights.
Survivability is a core challenge of the game for sure though, and modding right for it is a puzzle for all players to crack
Well, they've fixed Martyr Symbiosis now, it was indeed bugged and therefore too strong.
I still say that Transfusion needs some love tho'.
Unless you are a very high health or shield frame with link mods all pets except vulpaphylas are paper in defense stats and you need to constantly be healing them every second with lifesteal to keep them up. If you are say, running Vauban, the pet is going to be dying on non steel path a lot due to slash or heat procs and on steal path they will deal its total health in a few shots. I've never liked non sentinel pets and the Vulpaphylas seem like gods to me because of it, since they can't die. If or rather when DE adds some cooldown on them i will once again feel like all pets are made of paper.
I'm sure i can't be the only one who feels this way about pets, especially after watching so many new players play this game and getting annoyed that their kubrow constantly dies and they just go back to sentinels.

Make this pet give you a lifesteal and lifesteal link buff every time you or your pet go below half health.
Change the other mod so that he changes into mist or something vampire-realted when he's about to die and you need to hurt ennemies to revive him.
Then you can make him revive you on a cooldown like that.
This would just turn the Vasca into a non-infested Vulpaphyla. Vascas have been pretty much bullied out of their niche by Vulpaphylas, Draining Bite needs to be replaced by something new and unique and Transfusion needs to be buffed to be able to quickly reduce its cooldown.

Oh, and inb4 "stop being a pleb, max all mods, use forma, give reactor to Vasca" from the room temperature IQ brigade, well it must be nice for them to be able to cash whale for everything yanked out of foundry, meanwhile I went on Overframe and found I only need five mods with two of them at rank 0 to use only 30 drain total since I main Titania and pets are put away + immune while she's in Razorwing and every other mod on the companion is literally useless, GG

Александр8609, that's literally what the sentinels do though. Sure, it actively kills them faster than the cat does, but either way, 'reviving until it dies' yeah.
Something like djinn might be more sustainable too, depends how long the cooldown on cat is. Personally I'm on this page trying to figure out if anyone's figured out the timer.
Djinn has a 90s cooldown?
Djinn takes 90s to revive with his own mod but prime regen will revive him 3 times instantenously, meaning you can die 4 times. Add to that the guardian mod which give you an extra shield gate every 30 seconds with the recent updates.
Companions need to have more value when alive to warrant using this over Djinn's Sacrifice. With this one, the pet doesn't out right kill itself to revive you, but has 30s longer cd on it technically, which would be a fair tradeoff if, again, companions being alive mattered.

Kavat stats depend on frame stats. If your kavat is tough enough to not go down, your frame should be too.
