Void Flood is an Endless Mission type introduced in Update 31.5 (2022-04-27). The ever-encroaching corruption of the Void is forming ruptures throughout the Zariman Ten Zero, and the Tenno must work to keep them closed.
Access to this mission requires completion of the Angels of the Zariman quest.
Mechanics[]
Players are automatically given a drone that will collect the Vitoplast floating around the area or dropped from enemies, which they must deposit into a Void Rupture. There are two types of Vitoplast pickups; Vitoplast Droplets, which can be dropped by enemies or found floating around the environment, and Vitoplast Globules, which are larger deposits of Vitoplast that constantly move around the tileset.
Vitoplast is not affected by Vacuum/
Fetch, and are not able to be picked up while within
Limbo's Rift Plane or with
Wukong's Cloud Walker. Once three Ruptures are sealed, one or multiple Thrax Centurions and Thrax Legates will appear and must be defeated; the Thrax are formidable foes in possession of Overguard and defeating their physical form will revert it into a spectral entity that can only be finished off with the Operator's
Void damage.
Wandering into tiles without any Ruptures has a chance of spawning Skittergirl, a hostile Void manifestation of teenaged Archimedean Yonta, who will steal Vitoplast and Energy from players before running away. Upon her defeat she will drop a large amount of Vitoplast including the ones stolen, along with some Energy Orbs.
Players must monitor a Corruption gauge that fills as the mission progresses. At 40%, 70%, and 100% of the gauge, the Void provides either a random enemy buff or a player debuff. Sealing a Void Rupture as well as killing all Thrax enemies reduces the gauge by 35%. If the gauge fills completely, players must quickly act to lower the gauge within 2 minutes and 30 seconds. If the countdown completes and extraction is not yet available, the mission ends in failure. Otherwise, the Tenno are immediately directed to extract.
Some of Quinn's Bounties that involve Void Flood may have a special condition that requires the Tenno to keep the Corruption gauge below 70%, meaning players have to work faster on getting Vitoplasts and closing ruptures as soon as possible. If the Gauge hits exactly 70% without completing prerequisite objectives, the mission will immediately fail.

Tips[]
- The key to maintaining the Corruption Gauge low is to close a Rupture as early as possible before another Rupture opens, as having two (let alone three) Ruptures open will cause the Gauge to increase at a much faster rate.
Titania particularly excels in this mission type, as she can enter
Razorwing mode and quickly gather Vitoplasts normally intended for tricky parkour movement, including the large mobile Vitoplast circling around large tilesets.
Zephyr also performs well in Void Flood due to her increased airborne movement options.
- The
Madurai focus school also excels in this mission, with
Chained Sling reducing Void Sling's energy cost.
- Vitoplasts should be collected as soon as possible as they can despawn after a short period of time.
Mag,
Vauban,
Nidus,
Yareli and
Gyre have abilities that pull enemies into a cluster for quick mass dispatching and respective gathering of Vitoplasts.
- Eximus units drop larger Vitoplast orbs than normal enemies, making them priority targets for boosting Vitoplast supply.
- Keep an eye on Skittergirl, as she drops a hefty supply of Vitoplasts with repeated strikes. Also, she may respawn later on in the mission and can be attacked again.
Bugs[]
- Sometimes a tileset where the Void Ruptures appear will stop respawning Vitoplast for parkour movement, forcing players to resort to enemy kills as the only source of Vitoplast (possibly intended).

Traditionally, in other endless missions you could solo extract by waiting out the timer at the extraction point, but doing that here will only extract once all team members have joined you in the elevator. We may explore this option for Zariman missions, but for now manual solo extraction is available!

- This was the original design intention, as was mentioned in the pre-launch sponsored videos on Void Flood missions. Its core design encourages the use of your parkour skills as the primary way to collect scattered Vitoplast around the tileset, with enemy drops being secondary.

- The optional Extraction marker now displays for less time at each rotation.
- Fixed “Return to the Chrysalith” message lingering on screen indefinitely after the mission ends.
- Fixed objective A not appearing until the intro transmissions have finished.
- This also fixes the objective popping in at an empty location with a marker and causing an awkward pause in gameplay.
- Fixed extraction transmission playing after the next Round’s A marker appears in Void Flood missions.
- This should help some confusion on extraction availability before the next Round begins on longer endless runs.

This game mod could be beareble if it did not had a fail condition. But for some reason all game modes on Zariman has a annoying timer stoped to check the door? Too bad, you lose everything. Thats what you get for trying to play a Public match on a 'coop' game.

Honestly, I can forgive shitty drop rates for the premium parts on any mission, but to make the fodder NORMAL operator lenses? On the highest level void based star node content in the game? For the game mode that takes the longest to hit rotation C? Are you fucking with me DE?

Personal i dont think its that bad, i just randomly stick them on equipment. that way in general no matter what i am doing i am gaining focus points!(not fast mind you but quicker than nothing at all!)
Better queue solo if you want to ever see rotation C. Every single time, someone leaves after the very first rotation and since DE decided to say FU to everyone else, you get sucked out to extraction too. Even if you're the host. Nothing will kill your drive to play this game than trying to grind for Zariman weapon parts.
This game mode is cancer it SUCKS the hosts leave and get you to fail mission when its completed already and not enough blue orbs spawn for the dumb objective
Better add Zephyr to the list in the tips section too. Hold 4's static tornadoes are great for clustering enemies, in addition to her 2's pull.

I went into tier 5 void flood bounty with a full squad. There just wasn't enough vitoplast at all. We got every Globule as soon as it spawned and collected seemingly every bit but couldnt get there. The bounty objective was seal 15 ruptures. We sealed 14, spent 24 minutes, and still failed and got nothing in the end. There just needs to be enough vitoplast for this game mode to work....It's fun but it's so frustrating when it doesn't work.
I mean, its not like anybody at DE actually plays their own game.

Vitoplast has spawn limits. And it will spawn like any other 'thing' out there, meaning the rooms next to the objectives and vitoplast left at the previous objectives will sometimes remain. I've had success scouring the halls adjacent to the objective tile as it makes the tile vitoplast spawn after collecting it. F Skittergirl and her camping the objectives though, that's just stupid.
Super easy mode.
Pick Titania and go solo.
Always stay in your 4 and only pick up Vitoplast (big ones are visible on minimap), ignore everything else.
12 ruptures (C rotation) in 8 min.
+1 Worked great. I also can vouch for Wukong if you don't have Titania. His cloud allows for easy positioning to grab trickier orbs.
Operator works fine with every frame.
Either something is very wrong with this mode or I am missing something important. Can barely manage a few rounds of these, there is barely any vitoplast spawning and I nearly always depend on skittergirl or the big orbs. They are also impossible to see, because the entire tileset is somewhat dark and those orbs also are, blending into the background.
It does look like that, though if you either search other nearby rooms, previous closed areas or just get enough kills done, there will be enough vitoplast to get by... the game seems to think it oly needs to spawn new vito when enough of the already present is collected.
Would be easier if all vito is despawned after one room is cleared or at least after a short time - if one wants to collect the stuff in one room and then head to the next.
I just did 99 Seals to test the limit, and I'd say it gets somewhat hard to kill the Thrax at 80+, due to them being Level 9999, and the drain becomes impossible to keep up with at ~200 Seals. You definitely get enough Vitoplast, at least in solo.

All mission types have less mobs running about if you are solo
You also need less Vitoplast solo.
This game mode is easy, but it becomes hard when teammates hoard their vitoplast. Pugs don't seem to notice that there's a limit to vitoplast spawns. If everyone is turning in their share of vitoplast frequently it becomes a breeze to play. Running off and getting ganked by Skittergirl will just make things much harder for everyone.
