Trivia[]
- The Anku's design is inspired by the
Paris, in the same manner that the
Redeemer ,
Dual Raza and
Boltace are based off the designs of the
Tigris,
Soma and
Boltor respectively.
- The Anku is the first scythe that is built in the Clan Dojo.
- When it was initially released, the Anku had a
stance polarity, which did not match either stances available at the time. This was later corrected in Hotfix 16.7.1 (2015-06-04), giving the Anku its current
stance polarity.
- The Anku's blade folds down into the handle when stowed away.
- The Anku's name is likely a reference to two words;
- Anku is the Quechuan word for flexible or elastic, which likely refers to the three strings that retract the Anku's blade when it is holstered.
- Ankou is a personification of death in Breton and French folklore. He is usually depicted as a skeleton wearing a cloak and a large-brimmed hat, along with wielding a scythe.

I havent seen many incarnon forms but "perk 1: standoff, pauses combo duration" seems extremely wacky idk
Its wacky yeah and its sad bc its both the only reason to really use this instead of Hate, and also doing a niche the Tenet melee weapons do as well.
Gauss max speed showoffs seem to have only been a thing with the base and prime version releases so the incarnon movement buffs are kinda just there lol
Got a bug with it, blade doesnt fold when sheathed, kinda sucks cuz its my fav part about that weapon
I swear a while ago there actually used to be an animation where if you didn't use it for a bit, the blade would fold itself down as well, like the Dual Raza or Dual Kamas Prime
No wonder this stupid thing has a 50% chance to appear as an option for me in teshin's cave, it's getting an incarnon soon apparently. lol.
They really like doubling down on weapon types for incarnon, huh.
We don't need another scythe, give us a blade&whip.
And apparently the gimmick is just Tenet Grigori, lol. "Heavy Attacks launch hovering discs that bounce off terrain"
Why are they making a corpus lich version of this tenno weapon?
They are?
I'm not interpreting your question to mean anything beyond what you're asking, and I'll respond with, "They are not turning a Tenno melee weapon into a Grineer Kuva Lich weapon, or a Corpus Tenet Sister weapon. If I'm wrong, please provide a link."
Is this weapon good for pve
Not really. While the crit is ok the status is awful.
Mod it for heavy attacks
I didn't realise the blade folded out, I just assumed it was another weird looking weapon
THE BLADE FOLDS OUT? I never crafted it so I just thought it looked dumb as hell.
This weapon isn't that bad now, which is nice cause it looks pretty cool.
for those who questioning this weapon is good or not , this weapon is good for pvp , if you get riven for this as always try not get negative stat , honestly it could ruining your gameplay especially if you got minus puncture damage stat , freakin re-roll it man !
Does anyone know if this will be primed soon? Just got an awesome riven for it for an awesome price of 150p! XD
150p for this crap? Are you serious?
that riven must have been mega awesome to drop 150 on it for a weapon that so many people forget exists
oh you poor sod
I have some bad news
Noone cares about your stupid Rivens!
What are you talking about? That Riven fits him/her perfectly.
my riven is
+120% heat
+211% melee dmg
+220% channel dmg
sounds godly right?
but - 129% range......FUUUUUUU!
if you don't know what that means is once you have over -100% range effect the weapon will simply not connect with a hit box, you'll swing and swing and miss and miss
I got a riven for this, only roll once,
+140% range
Slide attack +159% chance to critical hit.
no negative stat.. is this good? should I reroll?
wtf no, add maiming strike, blood rush and primed reach, that will be a beast
lol, my anku riven had the same stat once, range and slide crit chance,
I even put along primed reach and maiming strike, hoping it'll do well. NOPE.. a big NOPE..
apparently, scythe type weapon have really low range even with riven & p.reach together = 270% 290% range.
not to mention the low damage, ughh.. personally, for riven, I think its better if it +Dmg, +Crit Chance, +Crit Dmg only.
the devs already said they will nerf MS by removing the ability to hit thru wall and they are going to nerf range allegedly. so the day after that update this riven will be trash
Got a riven for it +168.3% Finisher Damage
Slide Attack has +126.9% chance to be a Critical Hit.
Is it worth keeping? I don't really see where I could you the finisher damage. I'm a noob
got a riven that lowers puncture damage by 123%, fuckin why?
feelsbadman regardless I got a fragor riven -crit chance I instead sold it for credits because that riven is bullshit and I didnt even want to roll it
Bagged a sweet riven with about 150% of damage and crit damage and chanelling efficiency however -110% finisher damager dang it
So high puncture, low slash, a little impact.... it's a icepick. It's a frickin icepick. Even looks like it could be one
And...?
Just maxed it out... I focused on Critical Chance and Crit. DMG, it took me 1 Orokin Cata
stance is hard to farm, tho
This seems to be the only scyth weapon that does not have "short reach" in its dissatvantages, does it have the same reach as the rest or is it longer?
This weapon benefits from the recent scythe buffs or not?
Pretty sure this was untouched, the other scythes were simply brought up to this weapon's level
Ignore this, I posted on accident
im pretty sure it does (max damage wise)
