Their bodies are "perfected" in a way that mirrors the Orokin aesthetic taste: this is especially evident of Corrupted Grineer units, whose crude armor is replaced by golden, symmetrical plates and bionics. Inspection of unmasked Corrupted Grineer Lancer reveals their eyes—like their models—have been changed to reflect their Corrupted nature, sporting a glowing Orokin gold. The golden headpieces worn by many Corrupted enemies closely resembles that of (/wiki/Albrecht_Entrati) (Albrecht Entrati) Albrecht Entrati , as seen in his (/wiki/Vitruvian) (Vitruvian) Vitruvian records in the (/wiki/Necralisk) (Necralisk) Necralisk and on statues found in secret sections of (/wiki/Isolation_Vault) (Isolation Vault) Isolation Vaults , though it is unknown if this is supposed to imply that he is the designer of the Orokin defenses. Prior to (/wiki/Update_31#Update_31.5) (Update 31) Update 31.5  (2022-04-27), the Corrupted Lancer used to be a Butcher with white armor wielding a (/wiki/Dera) (Dera)  (/wiki/Dera) Dera   with golden projectiles, and the Corrupted Crewman used to use a modified (/wiki/Strun) (Strun)  (/wiki/Strun) Strun   with golden energy projectiles.
