All of the SE games on release have Denuvo. They remove it after a year though.

Surely you could afford a PC that brute forces its way through DRM with all the denuvo ridden games you've skipped buying by now.
Rent is fucked where I live. I haven't been able to afford a game I've wanted since February.
I'm also only running a 1080, I need all the performance I can manage, I do not need Denuvo slowing down my PC, especially when I'm playing a Singleplayer game.
Square also decided to region lock the game :)

I can't afford a beast rig that can skip by the hiccups that Denuvo causes in all it's games (even some beasts have issues). Lots of others can't either. I haven't bought a game that implemented Denuvo at it's release, even after it's removed, just on principle. It's ignorant. It's exclusionary. And ultimately, it doesn't affect their sales that much.
You expect me to pay $70+ for a game that will never run as smooth on my pc as your adverts say? Nah. Not going to happen.
One game. That's all it would take. Just one game.
One game where gamers decide, fuck you Denuvo. Just boycotting one game would make them reconsider it. The amount of sales lost from that vs from Piracy is staggering. But everybody has loads of FOMO, and little care about the gaming industry (but will still certainly complain about it). Voycott ONE game from a major dev/pub and they'll rethink the whole fucking thing.
I wish the internet gave a damn. But it doesn't. Feed the machine that shits on us. It's really messed up.
"I hate this... I'm still gonna buy it, still complain, still have performance issues... but the alternative is waiting 2 months to make the devs act right? Well. 60 days is far too long to stand on principle. What if someone else buys it? Then I'll be missing out".
It really is too much to ask others to stand up for their entire community.
