- His name is drawn from the Norse god Loki, who was generally seen as a mischievous, sly trickster. The Loki Warframe has abilities that further strengthen this connection, as Loki is able to turn invisible and create decoys of himself, amongst other abilities.
- For a while during Closed Beta, Switch Teleport could be used on the Defense cryopod, allowing players to move it across the map or into significantly more defensible and advantageous positions - including locations the AI (especially for the Infested at the time) could not reach. This was ultimately fixed in Update 5.4.
- Prior to Update 14, Loki was one of the three starting Warframes, along with

Does anyone know how ability range affects the decoy? Is it the aggro range, HP absorb range, both, or smthg else?
Loki has always played through weapons, but now it has become much more pleasant to do so. Due to the new addition to the first skill, he can scatter a decent number of statuses. I experimented for a long time with the skills that it is fashionable to instill in him and finally settled on the equinox skill. At the same time, it is desirable to have 2-3 augments on loki and raise the strength of abilities. At the same time, if at low levels this build baffles the neighbor, then at levels above 1000, an increase in reflected damage and the vulnerability of enemies with the equinox skill will begin to play, since damage grows many times faster than armor (I haven't checked yet, this is just a theory). There may be some other build options, but I missed them.

The new changes are actually pretty nice. The decoy is now actually tanky enough to do its job and keep attention for a bit, and the addition to switch teleport is quite nice. The speed buff and removal of being stuck in place make it much more enticing to weave it into combat.
Good news for loki fans, decoy is finally going to scale. Scaling will be based on the health of enemies nearby. Also seems to copy an enemy in the area as the decoy they made was a rogue culverin.
Don't forget the new Decoy Augment as well, apply 3 status to enemies who attacked decoy and increase reflected damage by 350%. Even tho they can just apply it to the skill itself but hey at least better than nothing.
Also I don't think copy an enemy in the area as the decoy is part of the changes but if it's true then yeah it's a good thing.
Okay I looked back on the devstream, you can TURN an enemy into a decoy. So that's great. It wasn't clear though if that's the new default of if it was an effect of the augment.
Finally at least a buff.
I think him not having a passive sucks and its the reason why I use Ash instead. Other than that, he's just okay. Not like Inaros or whatever.
Its multiplicaitve with strength on warframe abilities that it does buff , well for sure on Styanax 4 as well as being universal for all weapons instantaneously , id say thats pretty baller.
He does have a passive, wich is that he can wall-latch 10 times as long as other frames. This can be very handy for unveiling rivens that require wall-latch kills.

Does the codex say "sew" confusion verbatim? Because it should be "sow" confusion (allowing you to "reap" mission success). They are homophones (pronounced the same) but "sew" denotes stitching and "sow" denotes planting the seed of something to be reaped/harvested later.
Loki has a funny synergy with the new Precision Intensify mod... Because of how literally nothing in his kit scales with Strength, he can replace his 4 with something which scales very well with Strength such as Wyrd Scythes or Thermal Sunder for a damage ability, or Eclipse or Roar for a weapon buff.
His 4 is one of his only good abilities though. And the fact that nothing needs strength, means he's better suited for a low-strength build. Helminth abilities that don't require any strength are better options for him.
If you're using Precision Intensify on a warframe, it's because the 4 needs strength, and in that case you're probably going to want to run additional strength mods like Transient Fortitude, Blind Rage, etc. alongside it.

So I've been thinking about getting Loki whats even good about him that I'd use him over ash other than trolling with Switch Teleport.
Longer invisibility and an easy-to-use 4 that, with the augment, is very amusing for watching enemies beat each other in the face with nightsticks.
But generally Loki is a weapons platform frame. You just kinda calmly hang out, invisible and invincible, and blast shit to death with your favorite gun of choice, not a care in the world.
That's it. He is the "i just wanna calmly kill things and not care" frame. But generally Ash does more since Ash has 2 very high damage murder powers whereas Loki is mostly light crowd control.
Wouldn't it be befitting of Loki to actually be good at Finishers as well?
Eximus Unit's are not affected by with Radial Disarm and it's augument.
Radiation status doesn't make units with Overguard attack other mobs, but it DOES make other mobs attack THEM. There are probably more energy efficient ways to proc this effect though, and disarming enemies guts their damage and renders making them fight each other less effective.
Been using Loki for 10 years and compared to other frames like Saryn, his abilities are disjointed and have no synergy. A couple changes id like to see (just for fun):
Passive: Wall latch. Keep the same but add energy regen over time and reload speed bonus while latched.
Decoy- Now has no health and is based on duration. Able to attach to walls. Has Other variants like Ivara's #1. Decoy's can be detonated by pressing 1 again.
A. Decoy variants:
1. Blast: Decoy absorbs incoming damage and can be remote detonated causing a radial blast and knockdown.
2. Reflect: Decoy has a small bubble that reflects bullets, lasers and missiles. Detonating causes radial blind and slash.
3. Ghost: Decoy is unseen by enemies and does not alert but causes them to move to decoys location. Detonating causes a cloud of silence and magnetic damage. Alarms and other enemies cannot be alerted while in cloud.
4. Exalted Specter: Specter takes half of Loki's meager health to summon. and cost energy per second to maintain. Specter has health pool but can not cast abilities. However you can cast decoy variants on Specter for effects. Specter can use decoy abilities to absorb damage, reflect projectiles, and turn invisible respectively. Casting Decoy on Specter increases energy per second cost. Can only cast one decoy on specter at a time.

3. Switch teleport- Should buff movement when used on allies and self and debuff enemies speed. Also would like to be able to swap in the air, ragdolling enemies and cause fall damage.
Switch Teleporting with a Decoy now gives Loki powerful bonuses.
A. Blast- Transfers all damage received on Decoy to Loki as a Damage buff.
B. Reflect- Gives Loki projectile reflection and increase to slash damage.
C. Ghost- Makes Loki briefly intangible. Immune to sensor bars, laser barriers, cameras. can not harm enemies in this state.
4. Radial Disarm- Cast remotely using enemies, Allies or Decoy as a focal point.
Great idea! Looki not aged well and need rewoork for sure
Some of this sounds fun, though slightlyy overloaded.. I would change the 4th decoy variant into one that has a healthbar but uses Loki's primary weapon, or secondary if there is no primary equipped, at half damage not scaling with strength. (Still stationary)
I don't think the 2nd variant should have a radial blind if first already has a knockdown and he has a disarm on 4.. maybe something like it gives damage reduction in an area to team up to a cap as it takes more damage since Loki has somewhat of a supportive role. That or maybe a selfish, offensive buff of some sort, though still dependent on how much damage the decoy is taking.
I feel like the 3 could def do a little more than just teleport, though with the augment it's got some nice utility already.. maybe a small health restore/health regen buff along with the small speed buff when used on allies, and on enemy switch, maybe a Nyx-like effect where to other enemies, the switched enemy looks like Loki for a few seconds.
If the Decoy could follow like a shadow, or leaving a physical trail for a duration, then stop and detonate would be fitting for a character trickster.
Another good Decoy addon feature would be to steal enemies weapons within Finisher Range. So the Decoy can approach enemies, Teleport into finisher range and steal their weapons scaling with enemy level.
Make decoy Loki's exhalted specter where you can mod the decoy as to retain its trickster theme. tap to cast, hold to control like Ivara's navigator. Tap decoy again to go back to Loki. Hold switch teleport to switch with decoy wherever it is. Helminth skill makes the caster invinsible like transference instead of being invisible. Stats, attributes, energy, etc is up to your imagination.
I...really like this actually. At least something to make him more relevant in the current DPS meta.

Loki could really use a little bit of a buff. Like make invisibility be able to bypass sensors since like Ivara can do that with her augment as well as other things such as being togglable, headshot damage bonus and loot stealing while you can't even recast invisibility while it's active. Make this ability stand out of other invisibility abilities because this is Loki's main thing and somehow he is not the best at it. Octavia can share her invisibility by default while Ash can do so with his augment while also having extra crit chance all Loki has is silent guns which is good but the base ability needs more.
More mods and viability for team synergy for sure.
But.....i'm satisfied if they just make invisibility renewable via a mod.
Hoping that DE Pablo looks over my boy Loki to make him viable

No, back in the 2015 max Invisibility duration was around 30 seconds because only mods for Duration were Continuity, Constitution and Narrow Minded. Base Invisibility duration wasn't changed since.
If you have the arcane helm, will go over 40ish.

Volt and loki prime are next, just think about it thougth, sometimes
Baro ki teer comes with volt prime relics sometimes every few weeks so someone HAS to notice they come every few weeks, does that not give a hint that they are coming out next?
First they cant fix his ulti damage and now they use their bug as a explanation of the spell ...
In the past loki ulti could damage everyone it hits and then i got buggy like it doenst deal ANY damage in 90% of cases.
Instead of fixing the bug they just explain it now as intendet...
Damage is affected by Ability Strength and is applied to Infested enemies, Oxium Ospreys, Orokin Drones, the Zanuka Hunter, the Grustrag Three, Corrupted Ancients, and most Bosses.
Grineer, Corpus, and Corrupted take no damage from this ability unless specified above.
Most Infested, the Zanuka Hunter, the Grustrag Three, and some bosses suffer Knockdowns when damaged.
So sad i wont play if you dont finally fix loki
Why do you even care about little dmg his ult does? His ult can literally make all enemies useless, dealing no dmg to you cos they hit u with sticks and its permanent, it can cover the entire fkn map, with augment u make them kill eachother, you can cheese most content in the game, teleporting defense target during arbitrations and sortie defense, teleport drone on the plains, glitch through walls in Spy missions, you're super fkn fast and really hard to kill cos u can be invisible most of the time, so why throw a tantrum?
Loki is meant for utility/support not damage. God have mercy if you try to force him to deal damage (It wont work)
