The real reason that Ash supposedly "betrayed" the Scoria is because he was never allied with them in the first place. His real client was Lio Denas who employed his services to rescue his sons from the Scoria. Patience is a virtue, as can be discerned in the way Ash executes his primary objective flawlessly in what is none other than a rescue mission, acting as a double agent and a master manipulator, to the extent where he even got his adversary, the Scoria, to idolize him. The Scoria was finally exterminated, ensuring the safety of the Denas family.
Ash's only affiliation lies with the Lotus, who most likely commissioned Ash's services to Lio Denas.

Most neglected warframe in the game by devs
If you're trying to helminth Dante's Dark Verse on Ash like I did, it's not SP-viable. It does have good range and is efficient for Starchart, though. I tried putting it on 4th slot to take advantage of Precision Intensify but it's still far from viable on SP. Which is a shame because Bladestorm is still dogshit.
Uh what? I literally use a Bladestorm build to solo SP and most endgame content like Netracells as Ash is my main go-to frame.

PSA: The Innodem and so its incarnon perks DO NOT influence Bladestorm anymore, Also Melee mods too stopped to influence Bladestorm's damage. the only exceptions are Attack Speed mods (capped at +50%). those things stopped working after Dagath's update.

I just realized this and im a bit tilted at this not being in the patchnotes. Which on the other side, could mean its not intentional... but they prob wont change it again either way. Now i dusted of my ash to play that build again, i might as well throw him back in the dust.
Poor dude, sometimes feel bad for him especially on the moment when seeing other frames that's doing well with crowds than him nowadays compared to his past. Kinda wish blade storm to be buffed or rollbacked once again.
Rolling back bladestorm would just make him worse. His 4 is in a fine place, I'd rather buff any other part of his kit.
The problem with ash is things that makes the ability good is locked behind augments
I think nerfing frames into uselessness is part of their powercreep plan. Look at Ember, Nekros, Banshee, etc. They want frames to be good for a little bit to make them worth something, and then make them terrible in order to get people to use the new stuff.

It says on the abilities page that finisher damage mods like Covert Lethality does not affect it. Only attack speed and combo mods do, and it seems to be correct. I had finisher mods and after I removed it, I did not notice any differences.
Although I have not checked in-game as you have said you have @TURBOALLAHGAMER , I only see remarks from the wiki stating the opposite of what you are saying. Perhaps it is worth editing to get the word out.

Ash's invisible is weakest of all frame that can cloak, enemy can 'melee' detect him from anywhere. Loki is better.
On the flip side, Ash can stay invisible forever thanks to his synergy with Arcane Trickery.

Tested, it doesn't
Someone rewrite this info about 4th ability (I hate wikitext), melee mods akin to "Fever Strike" and "Pressure Point" and "Smite x" and "Condition Overload" do affect the damage, incarnon bonuses do as well, physical damage mods seem to not affect it, it can benefit from crits but I didn't test that in detail. Also the 4th ability gives a mark separated in 3 bits, if the enemy dies on the first attack (1/3 of the mark consumed) the energy gets refunded completely.
P.s. this only works on enemies that normally have some sort of finisher animation, this doesn't work on "non-finisheable" enemies like jugulus, ability damage applies on almost any enemy but on "finisheable" enemies (mostly - humanoid non bosses) you will see double the amount of slash procs and greater upfront damage because somehow Ashs clones add their own finisher holding a copy of your weapon.
It was a bug that has been fixed in Dagath's update. now only attack speed and crit chance mod affect Bladestorm (capped at +50% attack speed, also only normal crit chance mod works, blood rush for example doesn't)

I have recently noticed youtubers covering the secrets of Ashs clone mechanic. So here's a bit I want to add, for at least a year I have been playing with Ashs augment for his 3, (refund energy on kill) and I knew it was refunding energy from 4 as well (still is), at the time I just thought it was normal and everyone expected it. The energy economy is good enough to play without Nourish or Dispensary constantly reapplying Silence and spamming 4, with just zenurik and invis arcane.
Nevermind, correlation not causation. Turns out his 4 HAS BUILT IN refund.
Yeah. Any enemy killed that still has marks left refunds the marks.
IMPORTANT:
Ash his ability bladestorm applies a slash and slash status to enemies, and additionally, ''shadow clones'' will mark enemies marked by you and perform ''shadow finishers'' on them. It seems like the game treats the shadow clones that mark enemies and attack them as separate entities from ash. So the damage and kills dont count as ash, and you cant even see the damage numbers from the clones.
Also, these clones scale of your weapon, all of it, damage boosts from warframes, the weapons stats and mods, and even the incarnon bonusses.
The thekengineer has a video about ash his bladestorm and this mechanic on youtube that i definetly recommend watching if you are interested in building for shadow clone damage. The slash aplied by bladestorm is very tiny compared to the potential damage from the shadow clones, and you can clear steel path just by targeting bladestorm and letting the clones kill everything, even though some enemies sometimes wont die because the clones are not attacking them enough.

Does Ash passive only enhance bleeds in the sense of bleeds from slash, is that the only thing that is a bleed? So it does not work on other damage over time statusses?

Idk if someone is still moderating this for this warframe but you guys should add that melee mods are currently working with ash blade storm
