I can't speak to those knives in particular, but I would be very uncomfortable buying those. You definitely don't need fourteen kitchen knives if you're on a budget. Three knives will do fine: one good chef's knife, one decent bread knife, and one cheap paring knife. If you can get the chef's knife sharp enough, you don't even need the bread knife unless you are slicing extremely crusty bread. Honestly you can get by in life with just the chef's knife.

Mercer, Mundial, and Victoninox have good, inexpensive offerings in this price range.

So I ended up selling the set for about $100. But I never found anything more about them.
