Praedos is an Incarnon ceremonial tonfa. Once its Incarnon form is unlocked, Tenno can transform this weapon in battle by executing a Heavy Attack with a Melee Combo of 5x or higher, increasing the weapon's range and attack speed.

- If an Incarnon Form is successfully achieved, Praedos will depict itself exuding a turquoise aura. The skin in this state is shared across all tonfas skins.
Evolution[]
- When newly acquired from the Foundry, players must acquire 100 kills with the Praedos in order to gain access to its Incarnon transformation. The following Evolution tiers, their requirements for unlocking them, and their related perks, are shown below;
- Each challenge additionally grants 5,000 affinity to the weapon, affected by Affinity Boosters.
Evolution I[]
- Unlock Challenge: Kill 100 enemies with the Praedos
- Reach 5x Combo and then Heavy Attack to activate Incarnon Form.
- +3 Range.
- +40% Attack Speed.
- Incarnon Form lasts for 90 seconds and persists until death.
Evolution II[]
- Unlock Challenge: Activate Incarnon Form 6 times in a mission.
- Refreshing the duration will not count toward the challenge.

Tips[]
- Combining
Corrupt Charge and Adept Reflexes grants a passive minimum 3x Melee Combo, allowing Swift Transmute to immediately transform Praedos at will.
True Punishment affects Shockwave Synergy, effectively doubling the Combo Count gain from 4 to 8 per enemy hit by the Slam radius. It is also affected by other sources that grant additional combo count chance.
- Using an Exalted Weapon will negate Evolution V challenge.
- Incarnon Genesis weapons are counted for Evolution V challenge.

We can complete evo 4 challenge with non-zariman incarnons now. I think previously we have to equip all 3 original incarnons to complete.
Slam radius isn't increasing by 50% according to the status. It stays 8m Slam 9m Heavy Slam no matter what. Pretty sure this is bugged.

Drifting Grace stacks itself each time you hover over the weapon in the arsenal. Resets when you leave, but still funny.

Evolution 1 challenge is locked for me, Not sure what's happening.
EDIT: I found out, you have to ONLY have the weapon equipped and no others.
Trivia section is wrong. Not sure when it got changed, but incarnon form has a 5.5 meter range
Is the 3rd challenge bugged? For the heck of me, I cannot land any Heavy Attack against Thrax Centurions and counting them for the challenge!!! It seems so easy on YT... (btw, if it is the same challenge for the Innodem, I did that without a fuss)

WHAT THE F???? THAT WAS UNINTENTIONAL?? and I know I am kinda late saying this, I didn't play with it too much after this update so I didn't realize, but come on, I thought that incarnon weapons, with their evolutions, were supposed to have their own quirks, and that was one of the very nice quirks it had, why must you remove a nice feature DE that made the weapon more unique and call it unintentional?
This was not unique or a quirk, this is legit just pressing a button to add time to your transformation for 0 cost
Really amazing combo for Voruna. If you don't have Fragor P. or just don't like Tenet Livia because of the shit stance, Praedos is your go to. Can opt out modding for aspd and heavy atk eff and just go pure crit + damage + heavy atk build.

How much would an unrolled riven of this be worth?
If you want a way to easily cheese the second evolution challenge, simply go to any Kuva Fortress mission and find one of those invincible turrets. Melee hits on them count for the combo, so you can simply smack them until you reach 5x, do an heavy attack, slam the ground to remove the Incarnon mode, rinse and repeat. I had completed it in a minute by doing so.
Low MR don't always have Kuva Fortress or Xaku, so best way is to go kill Lich Krill、 that boss stays invincible untill you break his back
What do you mean low MR? The weapon has an MR14 requirement, and you need access to the zariman to get it, meaning they would have to have to kuva fortress unlocked
Fastest way would be going into elite sanctuary onslaught with all availble combo chance mod available and hit the mob and transform, by the time you might already about to die. Just revive on the spot and repeat.
Since when does ground slam remove incarnon mode? that just removes your combo..
If you jump and then make a heavy attack against the floor you can restart the time of the incarnon form
And this also count for 2 evolution so you dont have to wait for it to expire

If you want mobility, a dagger with high attack speed for spins would be infinitely better
"Infinitely better" is a massive overstatement. Definitely better for spaces that require a lot of turns, but from my testing, Praedos' parkour velocity seems to win out in more open areas, especially if you can afford to stack it with Firewalker or equivalent. However, I'm not sure I've entirely mastered dagger spins enough to speak for their potential. I haven't tried macros and while I can cancel spins with operator to carry their momentum, I'm not sure exactly how far it can be pushed. I can't find info anywhere, just replicated it from a streamer. Then there's the matter of if you're running Arcane Strike or have access to other boosts.
Haha infinitely better, its the exact opposite mate, but a dagger is a nice tool and easier to acquire.
Dagger spins aren't going to do shit compared to a ton of parkour velocity, but I use the double jump anyway.
For those wondering Transfigured Momentum does need specifically a slide attack kill in order to trigger it's buff. Infact it shares the issue with Precision Headshot kills that it has to be specifically the damage of the slide attack itself to deal the final blow.
Kind of sad considering Innodem's Swooping Lunge doesn't have either of these requirements, and all of it's "on finisher" effects don't even need to kill something to proc. Innodem is just a generally easier weapon to use.
Granted Praedos has such a ridiculous amount of passive evolutions it's a much better stat stick..so it's nice that they went different routes on that aspect.
Is there a reason why the melee weapons don't gain radiation damage in incarnon form like the guns do? With the lackluster melee evolutions, they could have at least added some extra radiation damage while in incarnon form.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but when you are using praedos and met all the requirement to activate incarnon form (e.g having 5x melee combo) you hit enemy by jumping and perform a heavy slam attack to refresh the duration of incarnon form. I'm not sure if it's just me but it'd be nice to know from others too.

Get combo on slam and increased slam radius lets you get 12x combo counter very quickly. Way faster than with whipclaw. While combo on ammo pick up let you keep combo even when tehre no enemies nearby. Just use Tenet Tetra, put unfused rifle ammo mutation (you don't want it get filled quickly), and then deplete all ammo with alt fire. Just make sure you stay in primiry weapon while traveling, not in melee. Or it won't collect the ammo.
Put additionally Primary and secondary dexterity arcanes in primary and sidearm. And you pretty much never run out of combo counter. No need ever switching to Madurai School again. Keep comfortably in Unauri school.
30% parkour velocity is a nice bonus as well.
You do lose the possibility of having a good riven on the stat stick, which can be a massive loss in damage.

Not cheap, obviously. And probability get one for yourself is not very high (at least until DE will decide give them as guaranty drop from of of "Gift from Lotus" alerts).
But nevertheless - they are surely available.
You'll have a disposition of 0.55 instead of 1.5.
Which means that Riven can only provide a very small benefit over a regular mod, while on a weapon with higher riven disposition, a Riven can triple the damage.
Tbh the only stat matter is status chance. Although higher slash damage also benefits.
Otherwise whipclaw still capable oneshoting SP corpus and infested. And only for grineer you need to apply bleed, to make sure they will still die after one hit.
