Granum Crowns are a form of currency prized by the Corpus, said to be tokens of esteem from their founder Parvos Granum. Carried by Treasurers on Corpus Ships, the Tenno can defeat these Treasurers to claim the Crowns for their own use.
Granum Crowns will only appear after finishing The Deadlock Protocol quest.
Mechanics[]
In missions in the Corpus Ship tileset, Treasurers will spawn within 2-4 minutes in non-endless missions and within 5-8 minutes in endless missions. The Treasurer will announce his presence with dialogue and a waypoint, and players must kill the Treasurer within a short timeframe to obtain a Granum Crown. Note that only one Treasurer can spawn in a mission, and thus only one Crown can be acquired per mission. The Crowns are unaffected by Vacuum or
Fetch, and must be manually picked up by players.
There are three tiers of Granum Crowns, each of which are found in a given level range. The Crowns' level ranges, as well as their descriptions, are listed below:
The Treasurer does not spawn in Valac, Europa due to it being a Crossfire mission, despite using the Corpus Ship tileset.
Uses[]
There are three uses for Granum Crowns - all within the Corpus Ship tileset:
- accessing the Granum Void
- freeing captive Solaris
- gaining rewards from the Corpus Temple Reliefs
Note that players can spend Crowns acquired in a mission within the same mission.

A Golden Hand Tribute
To access the Granum Void, a player must offer one Crown to the Golden Hand Tributes scattered across the map, which will open the Granum Void for the entire squad. Each Crown has a respective difficulty in the Void and the Tributes can accept any Crowns regardless of the difference in level range (e.g. players can spend a standard Granum Crown to a Tribute in Pluto). Using a normal Granum Crown, an Exemplar Granum Crown, or a Zenith Granum Crown on a Golden Hand Tribute will grant access to the Granum Void, Extended Granum Void, or Nightmare Granum Void, respectively. However, players can only do this once per mission; once the Granum Void challenge is complete, any Tributes in the map will turn to face away from the player and can no longer be interacted with.

Parvos Granum's ship in the Granum Void
During a mission, players can hear and occasionally spot Solaris in restraints, begging to be released from their Corpus captors. Players can free the Solaris by spending a Crown, rewarding 300,
600, or
900 with Solaris United depending on the type of Crown used as the freed Solaris is teleported back to Fortuna. This can be done as many times as the player wants, provided they have enough Crowns in their inventories and/or Solaris on the map. Standing gained by freeing Solaris will count towards the Daily Standing limit of the player with Solaris United.

A Corpus Temple Relief
Lastly, players can find a Corpus Temple Relief, large pyramidal monuments with a statue of Parvos Granum in the middle. Spending a Crown at the console at the base of the statue will reward the player with one of The Tenets, describing Granum's philosophy of profit and rise to power, as well as a related Orbiter Decoration. After the sound animation has finished, other players may interact and donate a Crown. This will play the lore as intended and provide the reward for the other players. There are eleven Tenets, and each of them is rewarded in order regardless of the Crown used. If all of The Tenets have been unlocked, spending a Crown will reward the player with 1,000,
2,000, or
3,000 based on the Granum Crown level.
Notes[]
- Although Treasurers can spawn prior to the completion of The Deadlock Protocol, they will not drop Granum Crowns until The Deadlock Protocol has been completed.
- Treasurers can spawn in Grineer Galleon tileset as well, given that the particular mission node is occupied by the Corpus. The tier of Granum Crown dropped is determined by enemy level.
- To prevent the Granum Crown from being dropped in Extraction zones and therefore unreachable, the Treasurer will move away from it if he is within 35 meters. In addition, if the Granum Crown is dropped in Extraction, it will be teleported to a safe spot.
- Granum Crown drops are not affected by
Nekros
Desecrate,
Hydroid's
Pilfering Swarm,
Ivara's
Prowl,
Atlas
Ore Gaze,
Khora's
Pilfering Strangledome and Chesa Kubrow's
Retrieve.
- Granum Crowns are not affected by Resource Boosters.
- Nightmare Mode mission level modifier of +10 will affect the tier of the Granum Crown dropped.
- Example: Nightmare version of the Jackal fight on Venus is level 16-18 (instead of 6-8) and the Treasurer will drop an Exemplar Granum Crown (instead of standard Granum Crown).
- Players cannot interact with the Golden Hand Tribute, Solaris captives, or Corpus Temple Relief console when there are enemies nearby.
- Only one Corpus Temple Relief room can spawn per mission.
- The Sergeant has a high chance of spawning in a Corpus Temple Relief room.
Bugs[]
- The Treasurer may not spawn within the given timeframe of a mission if the host is completely inactive until the host makes an input.
Trivia[]
- In real life Crowns have been used as a unit of currency since the late 19th century, and are still in use in Northern Europe.
- It is implied by Nora Night, the Treasurer, and Perrin Railjack Crewmates that Granum Crowns remain cold regardless of how long someone holds them.
- The Corpus Language on the crown translates to: "Profit Kontrol Power, May Our Ledgers Become Ocean, May Our Margins See Centauris." The writing is the same across all crown types.

Patch History[]
Hotfix 28.0.5 (2020-06-17)
- Fixed Clients not receiving the Credit reward when using a Granum Crown in a Temple Relief after collecting all the Tenet entries.
- Fixed the Temple Relief appearing multiple times in the same Corpus Ship mission, which resulted in a malfunction on the second interaction.
Hotfix 28.0.3 (2020-06-12)
- Granum Crowns dropped by Treasurers are now exempt from ‘loot Abilities’.
- The Treasurer will drop 1 Granum Crown per player as intended.
- If the Treasurer is within 35 meters of Extraction, he will now turn away and run to the nearest Golden Hand Tribute to avoid dying in the Extraction zone. If by chance a Granum Crown is dropped too close to the Extraction zone, they will now be teleported to a safe place. This addresses reports such as: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1199639-treasurer-drops-coin-on-extract/

these poor captive Solaris need their own dedicated page with tips for finding those repositories
Decided to translate the back of a Granum Crown, since there's writing on it and I haven't seen a translation anywhere:
Profit Kontrol Power
May Our Ledgers Become Ocean
May Our Margins See Centauris
For some reason the 'Ocean' doesn't have an S at the end, and any instance of the letter 'C' is actually Ch due to the letter C not existing in the corpus alphabet, and is replaced by Ch... for some reason.
And before some asks, I REFUSE to translate the front of one.
Why? Is it because its hard or because of something else? You've piqued my curiosity, also thank you for the translation you did do
Because there's SO MUCH small text all over the front that I refuse to do because.
A - I'm lazy
B - its hard
C - it probably translates into filler text and jumbled up letters
loki PRIME does work for getting these, other posters are WRONG
Corpus Temple Relief, Is there no information on what the decorations are? Is there one per crown type and only one lore for each crown, or is there multiple?
It's a single set of eleven decorations.
I just had a treasurer as the final enemy in the last wave of a syndicate defense mission. I picked up the crown (the bottom left overlaid icon showed), but it's not listed in the mission loot (which showed up almost at the same time, just fractions of a second later).
So… did I get the crown or didn't I? Last Mission Results doesn't list it either, so I suspect it's lost?
Why treasurers show in limited wave/time defense missions, and very likely (since they around around the periphery and don't really attack you) as the final enemy to kill… is beyond me. DE did a great job there, as always.
Kind of realized that exemplar granum crowns really have very few places to farm them but the others are way more common.
You should get 30k, 40k, and 50k credits for turning in crowns once you have all the lore. 3k credits is an insult.
"To prevent the Granum Crown from being dropped in Extraction zones and therefore unreachable, the Treasurer will move away from it if he is within 35 meters. In addition, if the Granum Crown is dropped in Extraction, it will be teleported to a safe spot."
-Completely false. There were plenty of instances where the Treasurer spawned right at extraction, and I even tried luring him away. He didn't move from there so I killed him from range and he dropped the Granum Crown, and the crown still stayed at extraction, making me miss my chance at getting it and making the mission a COMPLETE waste of time.
Wukong's loot boost passive will affect the drop, i am pretty surprised it even worked
Just a quick note, Mag's Greedy Pull also doesn't work
"players must kill the Treasurer to obtain a Granum Crown" Killed 3 in the last few missions... Things on ground to find = zero...
"Granum Crowns will only appear after finishing The Deadlock Protocol quest."
Best Corpus mission to spawn Solaris Captives for Solaris standing?
That is a terribly inefficient way to gain standing vs just doing bounties.
"That is a terribly inefficient way to gain standing vs just doing bounties."
You will eventually have more crowns in your inventory that serve no purpose because you have all the rewards so you might as well use them for Solaris standing.
I feel it should be mentioned that Hyena Pack has a high chance of having a Temple Relief as a boss room as well.
You can see that I got two crowns
Just found out ssing Wukong's passive you can get two coins per run.
what u mean by ssing ?
Typo, meant using.
Are you sure? Ive never gotten double coins using him, are you sure youre not using a booster?
It's a pretty rare circumstance to get to not only die near the time you'll kill them but also get the right buff
I have yet to be able to cut through his shields in the steel path. Normal yea he's easy. I tried with my Synapse using magnetic damage and good riven. I'll have to find another way or just ignore him on steel path.
try a melee
Maybe put viral status on him them heavy poison?
A thing to possibly add to Notes section: It would seem that while falling, Granum Crowns are considered a scannable entity. As, if the player has the sentinel Helios equipped and there are no other targets for the sentinel to scan during that moment, the Crown will glow orange during the brief time the Crown is falling to the floor, signifying that Helios is attempting to scan it.
The crown itself doesn't fall. Nor is the crown a drop from the Treasurer. Rather, the Treasurer, upon death, stops supporting an invulnerable entity that carries the crown and deposits it on the ground instantly upon contact. This entity is scannable.
it really shouldn't cost a coin to release a Solaris prisoner
Yeah, especially not for that little standing as well, waste of a crown
when you have collected everyyhing in the droptable and all the fragments, freeing solaris is really all you can do with crowns...
Freeing them only grants standing, which you can get more by freeing Solaris in the Granum Void.
You get the same amount of standing
Does every player get a crown? or only the player who picks it up if the mission ends?
Drops one for each player to my knowledge, though only one player needs spend their Crown for the whole squad at a time.
PSA: Your mission CAN AND WILL fail if you activate the Granum Void during Survival missions on low-ish life-support.
Droptables when?`
On the Granum Void page.
