Acquisition[]
- This mod can be purchased unranked from the Void Trader Baro Ki'Teer for
140,000 and
400. Note however that Baro Ki'Teer's stock changes with each appearance, and may not have this item available at every time.
Tips[]
- Good for weapons with poor ammo economy, such as the
Amprex or
Grakata. - Functions well with Sentinel's
Vacuum or
Chesa Kubrow's
Retrieve, which automatically collect unused ammo as needed.

For Comedic Purposes. The Opticor consumes tonnes of ammo and it takes over 1403085284 minutes to actually run out of ammo. A primed Ammo Mutation is must have. Maxed is recommeded.
I don't get why people are complaining about these types of mods. They're actually really usef... Nay, they're necessary on more than a few ammo consuming weapons, if you're doing endless stuff. Amprex, Synapse and Soma/Soma Prime are just a few of the examples that comes to mind.
All these noobs with the CoD mentality, thinking it's all about dmg and no utility lol. Gimme a break.
Nope... cannot agree. This mod is extremely useful and not a waste of mod space & fusion cores. This mod works passively while ammo restore needs time and protection to deploy, 2 things you might not have in high level missions. I think the best approach is to use both, but hey... it is just my opinion.
If you put this one and waste/use a mod slot, you never have to buy ammo restores ever again. For rifles at least.
Carrier prime makes this mod irrelevant, even in endless missions.onboard ammo mutation just makes this redundant

There are enough situations where you prefer having one over the other or want to use that Mod/Companion slot for something else.
the table doesn't show stats for rifles.
Late reply, but that's because you already pick up rifle ammo for your rifle by default, so this mod has no effect on that.

My supra enjoys this.
maxed out, put it on prisma gorgan, hold LMB the whole mission.
I did buy it and ranked it up to 8 so far(need to grind more cores next week) just for my prisma grakata. I was waiting for this a long time, since ammo is always a issue on it after 40 minutes/40 waves solo with the current ammo mutation. While it will ultimately not fix the ammo issues of the grakata in endless missions, it helps a lot. For me it is absolute worth it, since I doubt DE will remove armor scaling or fix status shotguns anytime soon.
Primed shotgun ammo mutation on the other hand is kind of pointless since the syndicate shotguns do the same dps then the kohm without any of the ammo issues, low range and massive spread. Simply "to little, to late" in my opinon.

A Soma Prime can really use that mod since it burns through ammo so fast that not even normal mutation mods can keep up at higher waves unless you got the rifle scavenger mod equipped
Amprex, Glaxion, Synapse, Ignis, Mutalist Quanta, and no doubt more benefit from this mod. Ammo hungry weapons that can afford another forma to plop in this bad boy become just that much more usable with it.
I hated using the Amprex before, but after maxing out this, I was able to sustain it quite comfortably for 40 waves of ODD solo. Still not the best, no, but definitely far more useful in niche cases than the previous "it's not useful" comments.
The mentioned weapons are pretty good nutured with the std ammo mutation.With the primed one there will be no reason to pull the trigger from the Ignis.

Unless I see concrete evidence about the multishot changes, I still don't believe it.

The fact this mod exists only proves that this mod exists. Primed mods are not supposed to be the standard with which balance revolves around, and besides the stated multishot changes consuming more ammo have never been confirmed to be "official" in any way, as far as it being a certainty and not just one of a handful of tentative ideas on how to balance multishot.
Will this be usefull after they implement the multishot changes perhaps?
I suspects that ammo consumption will skyrocket with those changes.
Keep in mind that the stated multishot changes are not final, and indeed were never promoted in a formal manner.

If it does what I assume it does (makes multishot rounds also take ammo) then that would be insane.
I use multishot on nearly all my weapons; I think instead of just going "oh gotta nerf multishot" or "oh gotta nerf serrated" we need that proposed change where we don't have to rely on the same mods to get damage anymore.
