Primed Pistol Ammo Mutation is the Primed version of the
Pistol Ammo Mutation mod for secondaries, which converts any unused Primary Ammo into Secondary Ammo. The affected pistol will only convert ammo while equipped, and will not convert any ammo type used by holstered primary weapons until their own ammo is full.
Converted ammo is denoted by a 
symbol. The final amount of ammo restored is rounded to the nearest integer.

- This mod can be purchased unranked from the Void Trader Baro Ki'Teer for
140,000 and 
400. Note however that Baro Ki'Teer's stock changes with each appearance, and may not have this item available at every time.

Dex Furis or 
Twin Vipers Wraith. - Functions well with Sentinel's

The new incarnon prisma angstrum desperately need this, with measly 18 max ammo and consuming 3 ammo per shot, and despite being a launcher like torid, unlike incarnon torid, you need to land some headshot for the incarnon bar to fill, explosion hit and kills don't fill the bar

Being such a lame troll must be the result of some kind of mental retardation.
I know that in many cases this mod would seem useless, but that's just a matter of perspective. I play to have fun. Sometimes I get serious, but most of the time I am just making builds that are fun to play. A pair of Dex Furis with 7 forma and all the maxed out Rank 10 mods you can squeeze on it like Primed Heated Charge, and Primed Pistol Ammo Mutation, Seeker, and all the others, is a hell of a lot of fun when you basically never run out of ammo. And to be honest when you build it right, that kind of mag size and fire rate can be surprisingly effective.
Dex Furis - 7 forma.wtf is it powerful or do you like it?
works better with shotgun scavenger than pistol scavnger becuase pistol scavenger increases pistol drops to 50 ammo per drop where as shotgun scavenger coverts to 69
atleast thats what the math i did came up with
but pistol ammo is a more common drop

I just gotten Azima and .....i think i will need this mod. Even its useless on 99% of other secondaries :C
This is actually very useful for Synoid Gammacor and Twin Grakatas since they consume so much ammo, almost instantaneously upon usage.

Shotgun and sniper ammo gives more ammo that pistol ammo

Primed ammo stock. it existed for two hours and had the same stats as normal ammo stock. True story.
I can't understand why anyone would need this. My max firing rate (80,5 firing rate) Wraith Twin Vipers are completely fine with rank 3 normal ammo mutation ._.
Some weapons eat enough to benefit from this, such as the nerfed synoid gammacor, dex furis, embolist, pretty much any large-capacity machine pistol, really..

This mod is a must for the recently changed Synoid Gammacor. That thing uses ammo like there is no tomorrow.

If you're running with a full team where your teammates are making up the bulk of the kills to generate ammo drops, then yes, it's tolerable.
For solo play, it's abysmal. There are better offerings for both scenarios and that includes team play as well.
People are crying about the nerf without realizing that it's still the best secondary weapon out there lol
34k dps at most, 30k with ammo mutation, that is of course a lot, and possibly one of the best. But did you know Rakta Ballistica had the same dps but doesn't need ammo mutation and doesn't have a range limitation in exchange for a little recoil and projectile travel time?
On my way to getting Rakta Ballistica and should I find the recoil problematic it seems the steady hands mod should help with that.
Could be useful with castanas or similar weapons that can share ammo pool with primary weapon. However those primaries are usually not that ammo ineffective and ordinary ammo mutation is enough.

Unranked ammo mutation mod is more than enough on launchers and other weapons using sniper ammo.
